She seems incredibly knowledgeable in handling my primary care. I have been seeing her for many years, and as I am aging, my concerns become more complicated. Aline helps me understand what's going on with my body, and also respects when I decline a specific treatment--often to come back and agree to it next year! One thing important to me is if I suggest a natural remedy, she does not look at me like I'm crazy, and will often share information about the safety and efficacy of my suggestion. I look forward to my appointments with her! Office staff is great, and if I need to get in for an emergent need, there are enough people in the office that I can almost always get in to see someone same day.

I really like Dr. Crear and some of the PAs so it's a shame that the messaging service is not held to a high standard. Honestly, it's like talking to a child...but one who clearly uses AI to polish their grammar. The level of incompetence - with incorrect prescriptions called in and incorrect information relayed - is concerning. I hope they don't have these medical assistants completing tasks that require common sense, like relaying important test results. I know practices are trying to increase profits, especially those practices that are owned by private equity (which this place may be--IDK). But please consider your patients. Don't run a competent practice into the ground by having these assistants do what medical professionals should be doing. Employ some actual nurses to answer patient questions for god's sake, not just "medical assistants."

I made the mistake of giving this place the benefit of the doubt after reading the negative reviews…read moreand am now stuck with an insane bill. First of all it took months to order my replacement IUD, the medical assistant accidentally sent the order to the wrong place? After meeting with Dr Downing I mentioned the negative reviews and my concern and she said they were having issues previously but changed companies and fixed the issue I trusted her and went forward with this office. The doctor and medical assistant both assured me that everything would be covered by my insurance, I even called the company the device was being ordered from to be safe and was told the same. Finally almost 2 months later they finally receive the IUD and Dr Downing isn't even available to insert it and I was seen by a different doctor I'd never met before. At this point, I just went forward with the IUD insertion and that was that. Weeks later, I have received a $1000 bill for the device and am having to call my insurance and the specialty company that provided it. The medical assistants are rude and unhelpful throughout the process, and I feel like the doctor lied to me about fixing this issue with other patients in the first place. avoid this place!!!!!

It makes every doc's visit easy and something you can look forward to knowing that you will be meeting a doctor who truly cares for you. She is very patient explaining things to me, not a confusing medical jargon, but with simple and understandable way. She even printed resources that I can read so I am fully informed. She follows up and always repeat that I can always call anytime if there is an emergency or if I have a pressing question. I am very well pleased with Dr. Laura. What a gem. I just moved to Austin and she made me feel at home with her excellent and sincere medical service. Note: She is a part of a network of doctors named Austin Associates OBGYN. She shares the same clinic as Dr. Christie Milluer which is located in building 2. Over all, getting an appointment is easy and very accommodating especially if you have an urgent issue. The clinic is very well clean and pleasant. The sitting area feels like you are just in your living room. The toilet is very clean and smells so fresh. The reception (with An amazing staff) is very efficient and organized. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

I cannot say enough in this review to express my gratitude for her care. In addition she has an excellent approach to patient communication. I feel very, very fortunate to have her as my care provider. I have had care over the last decade at two large Healthcare providers and did not feel that I had good healthcare. I feel that I have the very best care now which provides an added sense of peace and confidence. I highly recommend Ascension Seton because of Veronica Lopez.
