I've been here myself for a couple of things but recently had to get one of the tiny humans to be seen in a rush. I got in line by checking in online, grabbed the kiddo from school then made it to Fast Aid. Front staff was very nice, even helped me with the crying kiddo. All medical staff was nice and caring. We were seen and out within 30 ish minutes. I will continue to point people in this direction for urgent care. read more

So the staff is really nice. Like, really really nice. Which is problematic when you read the rest of this. I came in after a coughing fit with a fever, and the nurse practitioner gave me a steroid shot, an antibiotic, a steroid to take home, and albuterol. The steroid meant that I did not sleep. Hi, I am sick. What is the point? I went to my primary care physician and he said that this is a common formula for these places, and beyond overkill for a viral infection. In fact there is a pretty large study that shows steroids don't even work at all for things like bronchitis. He said I didn't have the symptoms of a bacterial infection. So these places will just throw anything at you that you'll say yes to. They also threw in a chest x ray, but no one bothered to communicate to me what an off-site doctor said about it. I had to walk in and get the result later. My primary care physician also said that steroid use over time decreases bone density and increases your chance of diabetes. So he sees people in their 50s with bone density issues, because they have received this treatment so often. My sister took steroids for leukemia. You do not need them for a moderate viral infection, people! So I suspect the very nice nurse practitioner just follows a formula from a bad script. read more

FastAid is a great medical facility. They alway see you and usually the wait is short. I can NEVER get in to see my MD without waiting a week or two so FastAid is almost my primary care provider. All the staff deserve a particular mention. Super nice and kind. Very knowledgeable and professional . They take Medicare too. read more

My husband went in there because something in one of his ear that bothered him. He assumed it was wax build up. He was seen by a PA and then the technician tried to use some kind of squirt gun to remove the wax. They did not do anything for him. We had doubt on the technician if she really knew what she was doing. Waste of money. read more

Hey, this is one of those places you honestly never want to visit, but if you have to - it's legit. It was staffed by 2 med techs and a dr. The receptionist/MA was friendly and efficient. The X-ray tech was also friendly. The Dr one duty was a super nice guy. He's from Missouri originally and proudly served our country in one of the military branches. The entire process was quick and efficient and since I had already met my insurance deductible - it was pretty cheap. I did call and ask what the cash only price was for an X-ray was before I headed that way and it was $210 I believe. Which IMO is reasonable. As a rule of thumb I always call ahead and ask this question before going to one of those urgent care/ER type clinics because I went to one that charged a ridiculous amount for an X-ray. It was full on (if not more than) true hospital prices. So I wanted to double check this place and it seemed fair. Nice, friendly, clean and efficient place. Hopefully I don't have to come back and fortunately nothing was broken. read more

I've been twice now and had a great experience both times (funny to say great because I felt like crap). Two different doctors but both were very helpful. Both times they went above and beyond to make sure they weren't missing anything and got me on meds right away. Everyone there, including the front desk staff is super friendly. I have never had to wait long in the waiting room. And I had to get a chest x-ray and it is so nice that they can do x-rays on site. It's so fast and efficient. I'll definitely come back. read more

Wow--Super fast and helpful! Easy check-in, no waiting, fast (but not rushed) through the triage and exam process. We have seen all of the PAs that work at this location and have ALWAYS had a positive experience. My kids love going to this place, which makes it so much easier for all involved. I don't like to see my kids sick, but I don't drag my feet to bring them in anymore since Fast Aid makes it so easy. read more

I personally didn't go, but my dad said Oscar was super fast with the paperwork process, the office was very clean & the staff were super friendly, fast & knowledgeable. I fell last Sunday, with most of my weight landing on my right knee, which had a total replacement in 2017. After a week, most of the swelling had gone down, but there was still some loss of motion, and I feared that the implanted hardware might have been damaged. So I arrived at Fast Aid on a Saturday mid-morning. There were only 3-4 people waiting. Within an hour (including time in the waiting room), Martin did the intake, and referred to a lovely X-Ray technician, (whose beauty made me forget to ask her name). Then James reported that the Xrays were fine, and that I had a "contusion," (Bruise), but that the implant was all in place. He wrapped the knee, and gave me a CD with the Xray info on it for my PCP and Orthopod. All were very friendly, courteous and professional. Told them I'd have to pass on buying lunch, but every time I passed the chicken place net door, I'd think of them. Fast Aid raises the "Doc in a Box" concept to a new level, as "Urgent Care" takes on a whole new persona. read more

My one star review is for the provider named Cammy if you get Cammy as your provider request a different one my girlfriend went in for a ear infection in one ear and found out the other had a blown drum we told her we need drops she said that we could do those on one ear but not the blown ear drum ear we said we understand as we left she said she will get the antibiotics and drops sent over to H-E-B so I go to H-E-B they get everything filled well guess what no drops called back and a different provider was very helpful and understanding and got them sent over asap like I was in the parking lot went inside and they were already being filled by H-E-B. So to wrap this is the clinic and everyone in the clinic I give 5 stars but Cammy if I could give you a negative star I would because of your lying to us and your not paying attention to details we were giving you on past history basically you looked and body language read you were in the room but your mind wasn't. read more

I went to Fast Aid today for a follow up and refill from a recent ER visit. I have been unable to get an appointment with an OB-GYN due to many offices playing catch up due to COVID, and they are not taking new patients. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. They checked with the doctor first, to make sure this was something they could handle. I was taken back very quickly and had my vitals done by another very friendly and helpful person. The doctor was also very friendly and personable. He talked with me about my condition, looked over my ER paperwork, did a quick exam, gave me my refill, and I was on my way. Very fast and friendly service! Again this place is AWESOME!! I went in a second time bc I got insanely sick from going to visit from friends in Austin, and I'm really glad I went back here again! I had Dr. Hedgepeth (first time I had Dr. Jackson, who also rocks) and he was so nice! Dr. Hedgepeth really listens to you and takes the time to ask questions and figure out what's wrong. He was very knowledgeable, and super NICE! The facility is very clean, and the decorations are really nice. The people at the front desk are really awesome too! They helped me figure out how much to pay out of pocket, and helped me reverse the transactions when I realized my insurance had kicked it! What I would have paid out of pocket wouldn't of been much anyways, so this place is really inexpensive if you're not an insurance plan! I able to get in and out really fast, and they made me feel comfortable and even gave me a tub with paper lining in it in case I had to throw up again (which I did on the way over there!)
