Very good team of physical therapist I came with many issues to my hip and back.. they figured it out that it was nerve issues in my butt...and after 6 or so weeks I feel 10 times better and fine. Heather is very good at what she does and the rest of the staff is awesome. If you come here ask for heather she kinda reminds me of Piper the main character of Orange is the New Black. Heather is like that actress's dopplegänger. You can feel comfortable here through your therapy... and be helped in relaxed environment. We were told that they take our insurance. I provided the insurance card a week before my son's surgery. That gave them 3 weeks to verify that he was covered. We are 6 visits in and 5 weeks in and find out from the insurance company they are getting billed from this place and will not be covering costs. WTF. So now we owe over 3K in medical bills that should have been covered. They still have not told us. They should have known form the beginning. Shady company. Obviously their billing department has no knowledge of how to run insurance cards. Do not recommend this place. read more

I have been referred for Physical Therapy two times for separate issues, a known spinal injury and later for an unknown "injury" involving my spine and left hip. I was fortunate to be referred to this location, Santee, and into the care of Dr. Heather Nass for my first incident . The staff under her direction is totally professional and the care, instruction and skills I took away from those sessions allowed me to return to a very productive lifestyle without more invasive treatment, such as spinal surgery. 2 Years later: The 2nd incident involved my left hip with sudden severe pain... before therapy, it was increasingly difficult to sit at a desk, to work at a computer (my livelihood!), to sit in a car for more than 20 minutes or to sleep through the night as the pain grew worse over time. My primary care doctor felt it was a hip arthritis, or a muscle injury. I was referred once again to Physiotherapy Associates in Santee and soon their evaluation pointed towards a possible spinal involvement. Dr. Nass' incredible wealth of knowledge in her field helped to uncover the true issues I was suffering with and this assisted my primary care doctor in ordering the diagnostic tests actually needed. Throughout the weekly sessions, I am given and participate in exercises to build strength and core balance. I ask questions about everything and the staff always listens to me and clearly explains the whys and hows of what I am doing in sessions to ensure my understanding. Further, I have "at home" exercises to perform that are fast, easy and have improved the core muscles I need for better balance and less pain. Rheem, at the front desk, is always welcoming and works efficiently to ensure my session times are convenient for me. They recently expanded and occupy two office spaces which gives a much larger open area for rehab and exercise. Heather is my therapist and has done a wonderful job with my rehab. I had great service and therapy sessions from Heather, the clinic director. I had rotator cuff surgery and needed significant therapy to recover use of my arm and shoulder as well as gain strength. Heather did a great job of assessing my condition and progress. She is more "hands on" than most therapists that rely mostly on machines. For 2 months I had three sessions a week, and for another month two sessions a week. I gained full range of motion and most of the strength back. Nick was her assistant and he worked closely with me on the exercises once Heather had assessed my condition each session. They were a great team. The front desk was also easy to work with in making payments, scheduling appointments, etc. I would recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy prescribed by a doctor. Now I just need to routinely do the exercises and stretches prescribed by Heather and I should be improving all the time. read more
