I was referred to Select Physical Therapy for pelvic floor therapy. My therapist was Sean Ferguson. He did a great job at making me comfortable by explaining the problem and what we needed to do to resolve the issue. He showed me how to do specific exercises for this condition and printed them out so I could continue to do it at home. I have been discharged at my request only because I gained the knowledge I needed to continue on my own. I already have experienced improvement in my condition. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. I would go to this facility again. The only downside, if I am forced to give one would be the parking. Their office seems quite popular so finding parking close to the door can be challenging. read more

I have been through many Physical Therapy offices over the years. I have always hated Physical Therapy. The last place I went to gave me all home activities and did nothing with me in the office. I left after two appointments. I never missed an appointment at this office ! Sean, my therapist was awesome ! He cared about my goal and helped me feel like the work I was doing was worth it! Thank you for helping me with my issues !! read more

Amazing care!!! I had a complete recovery after a fall at work in which I had 3 rotator cuff and a bicep tear. Very good team of physical therapist I came with many issues to my hip and back.. they figured it out that it was nerve issues in my butt...and after 6 or so weeks I feel 10 times better and fine. Heather is very good at what she does and the rest of the staff is awesome. If you come here ask for heather she kinda reminds me of Piper the main character of Orange is the New Black. Heather is like that actress's dopplegänger. You can feel comfortable here through your therapy... and be helped in relaxed environment. Just be honest about how you feel and what works for you its makes it twice as better for you to get the help you need and back on your feet. read more

I have been referred for Physical Therapy two times for separate issues, a known spinal injury and later for an unknown "injury" involving my spine and left hip. I was fortunate to be referred to this location, Santee, and into the care of Dr. Heather Nass for my first incident . The staff under her direction is totally professional and the care, instruction and skills I took away from those sessions allowed me to return to a very productive lifestyle without more invasive treatment, such as spinal surgery. 2 Years later: The 2nd incident involved my left hip with sudden severe pain... before therapy, it was increasingly difficult to sit at a desk, to work at a computer (my livelihood!), to sit in a car for more than 20 minutes or to sleep through the night as the pain grew worse over time. My primary care doctor felt it was a hip arthritis, or a muscle injury. I was referred once again to Physiotherapy Associates in Santee and soon their evaluation pointed towards a possible spinal involvement. Dr. Nass' incredible wealth of knowledge in her field helped to uncover the true issues I was suffering with and this assisted my primary care doctor in ordering the diagnostic tests actually needed. Throughout the weekly sessions, I am given and participate in exercises to build strength and core balance. I ask questions about everything and the staff always listens to me and clearly explains the whys and hows of what I am doing in sessions to ensure my understanding. Further, I have "at home" exercises to perform that are fast, easy and have improved the core muscles I need for better balance and less pain. Rheem, at the front desk, is always welcoming and works efficiently to ensure my session times are convenient for me. The staff at Physiotherapy Associates at this location in Santee have truly helped me to gain back my activity levels so I can be more engaged in my own life with better movement, less pain and the tools to keep myself healthy! read more

We were told that they take our insurance. I provided the insurance card a week before my son's surgery. That gave them 3 weeks to verify that he was covered. We are 6 visits in and 5 weeks in and find out from the insurance company they are getting billed from this place and will not be covering costs. WTF. So now we owe over 3K in medical bills that should have been covered. They still have not told us. They should have known form the beginning. Shady company. Obviously their billing department has no knowledge of how to run insurance cards. Do not recommend this place. read more

Friendly front reception area and knowledgeable staff. The gym and therapy areas are very clean and inviting. They recently expanded and occupy two office spaces which gives a much larger open area for rehab and exercise. Heather is my therapist and has done a wonderful job with my rehab. She pushes just the right amount of intensity so I can return to my normal daily activities. I have noticeable improvements with every visit and highly recommend Select Physical Therapy to anyone seeking rehab. read more

I highly recommend this physical therapy location. I had a nasty break of my tibial plateau and was on crutches for months. The therapist, Heather, was the best I've ever had in my four past surgeries and rehabilitations during my soccer career. Two thumbs up! read more

I had great service and therapy sessions from Heather, the clinic director. I had rotator cuff surgery and needed significant therapy to recover use of my arm and shoulder as well as gain strength. Heather did a great job of assessing my condition and progress. She is more "hands on" than most therapists that rely mostly on machines. For 2 months I had three sessions a week, and for another month two sessions a week. I gained full range of motion and most of the strength back. Nick was her assistant and he worked closely with me on the exercises once Heather had assessed my condition each session. They were a great team. The front desk was also easy to work with in making payments, scheduling appointments, etc. I would recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy prescribed by a doctor. Now I just need to routinely do the exercises and stretches prescribed by Heather and I should be improving all the time. read more

My wife has unsuccessfully tried physical therapy at other locations but this organization was recommended by her physician and surgeon. Also the reviews on Yelp for their sites were all positive. We went to this site after my wife's knee replacement. Heather is fabulous. They are patient and yet work the therapy to maximum effect. The entire staff is a like family. They make a difficult process as positive as possible. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

I really appreciated the time Heather took to understand my condition. She was able to customize a program for me to address my needs. The entire staff was very professional and helpful. I have done physical therapy at other offices but never felt as optimistic as I do with this office. Highly recommend this office if you need PT read more

This place is top notch! Shelley has been the sweetest, kindest physical therapist to work with. She really cares about me and wants me to feel better. She did a great job identifying the problem and is now working with me to help myself heal. I am so glad my doctor referred me to this location. Scheduling was a breeze and they are willing to accommodate my busy schedule by moving lunches around and squeezing me in. Five stars all the way! read more

I had a great experience all around. Heather is awesome...a real pro who loves what she does, and she worked miracles on my tendonitis. Two years of pain...and now I'm pain-free!
