The Dr. I saw was Dr. Mohammad Islam, this was my first time seeing him my visit lasted about 2 & half minutes long. This so called doctor told me I had to much physical therapy and that it did not work because I need a "Psychiatrist" he based this on less than 1 minute of meeting me. The so called Dr proceeded to tell me my injury was not healing because I was not "well up stairs" his words exactly also that I need to see a Psychiatrist as well as Pain Management & I'd be better; he did mention that if it made me feel better "you are not the only patient I have said this too". To say he was super Disrespectful is an understatement. I have never been so appalled by a Dr visit as I was today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS Dr At All! Telling a patient you just meet they need Mental health Help without any context of that patient's previous medical history is so uncalled for. It not only was his tone and delivery that was grotesque but his lack "bed side manner" while seeing a patient.

The nice woman who works the front desk was helpful for my billing inquires and finding the right time to quickly schedule me in. The company also sent text alerts to my number to remind me of my appointments. Shannon was able to do various exercises to strengthen the areas I was in pain for. What I appreciated the most was she understood my busy schedule and continued to teach me new exercises that I could do during my down time. I admit, I was…read morea little skeptical that my problem could be solved- I knew the fracture would heal, but I've had back issues for a number of years and I just felt resigned to the fact that my back would always be a problem and just another indignity that comes with being in my 50's. Well, six weeks later I feel so much better and stronger. My team (more on them in a bit) really worked hard to put together an exercise program that would strengthen my core, back, and legs and with each session, I saw and felt improvement. I downloaded a recommended app and my PT sent videos to it that would allow me to do some of my exercises at home and that makes it much easier to remember the techniques and rep counts. The best part of The Jackson Clinics is the people. Right up front in the Ashburn location is the very professional, very positive and extremely efficient Anem- a young lady with a very bright future. Nathan is the lead Therapist I would see at the beginning of every session and he is simply outstanding. One of the nicest people you could ever meet and you can tell he cares very much about how you are feeling and progressing. He is the one who dictates the program and comes up with the exercises and strength building activities you will be doing. He sees what works and what does not and reacts accordingly. Finally, each session Nathan would hand me off to Peyton, who showed me the activities I needed to do and monitored me as I did them. He checks on you often and is very encouraging along the way. I really felt like Peyton is in a perfect position by helping people, he is a great PT and an even better person. I actually felt a little sad saying goodbye to this great team today and I'll miss them. I hope to see them someday outside of the clinic! The manager, Larry Grine, runs an efficient operation and is an excellent therapist himself. I have worked with Larry, as well as with Kevin, Greg, and Stephen, all of whom are also top class. They spend time with, and have genuine care for, each patient. This practice also offers a strength coach Jason Arnett, who has a storehouse of exercises and a personality that makes the process enjoyable. The front office staff is efficient and helpful. About the location itself, I immediately was aware of how friendly and attentive all the people there seemed to be. The facility itself is attractive, full of light, and has a very positive vibe to it. About the therapy, my therapist knew more about the anatomy and movement of the knee and surrounding areas than I could imagine. He performed a series of massages, movements, exercises, and other treatments explaining at each step what it was meant to accomplish. He was very clear about how to approach the rehab process and answered every question I had. He also laid out a carefully thought out home exercise program that I followed fully.
