I unfortunately have had several surgeries and I was so fortunate to have found Elite Sports…read moreMedicine. I have been with several PT groups before them and I felt the care was cookie cutter. Knee injury? here are the set of exercises other PT groups will prescribe not targeting the exercises to how you are doing and your specific weaknesses. At Elite they treat each person like an individual and tailor your treatment to how you are responding and they always ask what is aggravating you on that particular day. Often you may come on with a specific pain like your back and they will recognize that it's actually your hip that is causing your back pain and you leave feeling better. They all work as a team so if you are with Anna one day and the next time Jeff you aren't starting over because their care overlaps and the communication between them has occurred before you even get there. I can't say enough, how impressed I have been with their knowledge base and caring for each patients recovery and success. I noticed the review from Dawn and she can't be more off base and I'm sorry she gave them a low star review because they literally have helped me get my life back after numerous surgeries. It is always a positive, pleasant place to go where everyone knows who you are and acknowledges you immediately. One of the reasons I chose them was they are privately owned so you don't become a number in the corporate machine mentality where they don't really care about your recovery or get to know who you are. You can't go wrong with Elite Sports Medicine and physical therapy. I would like to stop needing them but as long as I do I'm glad I have them as part of my care team.

Sadly, I did not have the same amazing experience as everyone else. I found staff to be demeaning…read moreand they double book clients so they are uncertain of the information/directions they've provided. I'm finding a better fit.

My family have been to see Dr. Gluck several times over the years. I would highly recommend him and…read morehis staff. The office staff are great and very helpful. Dr. Gluck would listen to my concerns, I never once thought I wasn't heard. A very caring man and doctor, one of the best. Thank you and god bless.

I've had joint/knee issues for a majority of my life (loose ligaments, bunions, carpel tunnel…read morehotness, every joint in my body cracking for no reason, obscure double jointedness but not in a cool kind of way, etc.) and his reccomendation wasn't unnecesary surgery, it was proper excercise. I'm a runner, I lift weights, and I love hiking - prior to Dr. Gluck general practioners said, "well, just do no impact excercises" to which i replied, "i don't understand". I was prepared with this entire explanation of how low/no impact excercise simply wasn't an option for me, and i didn't even need it. Apparently, excercise (in my case) actually HELPS with my loose ligaments, wouldn't you know, building the muscles around the areas which support those ligaments is actually better than complete neglect? I have to go back to him to get a Doctor's note to get an ergonomic keyboard and mouse for work (to match my pocket protector and horned rim glasses), and am glad to do so. Also, the location is right around many other doctors as well as the PW hospital, so depending on what you need, it's possible to knock out a few doctors appointments in one day (particularly if you don't work anywhere near manassas and driving out there to go to the doctor is a pain).

Based on reviews we were slightly hesitant to see the recommended doctor from the hospital (was NOT…read moreimpressed with the hospital I was sent to) However, I broke my humerus shaft after being bucked off my horse out on the trail. Generally I do not come this far for medical services, but Dr. Highfill was the recommendation from the hospital I went to as the fall happened at the Nokesville Park. Dr. Highfill was professional, humble and personable. He was patient and waited for my responses and made a point to ask/investigate previous injuries I had with curiosity. He had a sense of humor that many need in a time of uncertainty. He gave me both options for the repair of my arm and did not try and persuade me one way or the other. However, given my demand to be active again I went with surgery to repair the arm. Which was scheduled the following day. Dr. Highfill came in prior to surgery to let me know everything they were planning to do and the layout of recovery. Warning me of any possibilities during surgery, etc. Again, his sense of humor came into play and made the experience pleasant when warning me how effective the block on my arm would be. Surgery was efficient and while I have plenty of mending to do as the surgery was just yesterday (4/11/17) I am VERY happy with Dr. Highfill being the performing surgeon on my arm and I'd highly recommend him. Even based on previous reviews of this Doctor I did not witness any of the behavior listed negatively in other reviews.

I have only written one other review of this nature and it was because of the best experience I had…read morein a professional environment. This had to be the worst experience I have ever had in a doctor's office. I took my mother in because she is having a lot of sever pain in her knee that started suddenly about four weeks ago. He left us in the exam room almost an hour without anyone saying anything to us. I opened the door to see if anyone knew we were still there. The nurse asked if he had come in yet and I said no. About 30 seconds later he burst into the room and started telling my mother what the problem was without even listening to her. He was saying that a scratch on her knee was due to he falling on her knee and that was the problem. I told him he was not listening, the scratch is a week old, the knee pain is a month old so it could not be causing the knee pain. He then that "she is just old and she needs to walk on the knee more". I told him she could not walk on the knee when she is in that much pain. He said that some people are just more wimps than others and looked at my mother for a reaction. He said there was nothing that could be done short of a full knee replacement. He opened the door and said "we'll get that for your mother." I asked what will we get her? He said a follow-up appointment. I asked him why we would do that, you just said that there is nothing that could be done and that she is just an old wimp. He said "well, we can look at it again in a couple of months". I only wish I could give a zero rating.
