The place is ok. You can tell it's run like a business, like a lot of healthcare places these days. They seem to have only 1 permanent PT, and a rotating cast of traveling new/young grad PT's. Appts are usually 30-40 minutes, with the PT finishing up with a previous person when you arrive, a period of around 15 minutes with the PT alone, and then they phase into their next patient in the last 10 minutes of your appt. Cycle repeat. The PT's seem like nice people who want to help patients, but I have seen district managers stop by, and have observed their behavior and demeanors to drastically change and seem more performative and stressed in the presence of management or possibly under management pressures (over metrics? output?) After checking with my insurance, I have come to the conclusion that they are operating according to their own business metrics and performance goals, especially after some tense and strangely performative interactions with some of the PT's there (where they were reluctant to provide services, acted really avoidant, deflected, etc), especially while a manager of the clinic was hovering around. These instances are not consistent with their usual more relaxed friendly demeanors, so it can be very strange, and can feel alarmingly dismissive from the patient side of things as you do tend to develop a rapport with your PT. There also seems to be fairly high turnover, and receptionist staffing can be spotty. read more
