I worked with Rylee and Jeff since May, and I truly never dreaded going to physical therapy because they made every session genuinely enjoyable. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am today. There were several moments during my recovery when I hit bumps in the road and felt like giving up, but their constant encouragement kept me going. I never thought I'd say physical therapy could be "fun," but they kept things interesting by changing up the workouts and tailoring everything to my pace without pushing me too hard. After several months, I can confidently say I'm finally starting to feel "normal" again, and I truly couldn't have done it without them. On top of that, the front office staff and assistants were always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facility itself was spotless, comforting, and such a positive environment to recover in. I'm incredibly grateful for the entire team.

I chose Synapse Physical Therapy in Westminster after hearing multiple recommendations--and I am so glad I did. From day one, I felt cared for. My therapists, Samantha and Riley, worked as a team to design a treatment plan tailored to my recovery. They listened, adjusted as needed, and encouraged me every step of the way. Thanks to their skill and support, my progress was steady and meaningful. What really sets Synapse apart is the atmosphere. Every member of the staff--from the front desk to the assistants--knows your name, greets you warmly, and makes you feel part of the community. The entire team collaborates, offering suggestions and insights to give you the best possible care. Appointments always run on time, and the treatments feel personalized and effective. I credit both Dr. Frank and the wonderful team at Synapse Westminster with giving me back a strong, functional shoulder. If you are looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional physical therapists, look no further--Synapse is the best choice you can make for your recovery.

The place is ok. You can tell it's run like a business, like a lot of healthcare places these…read moredays. They seem to have only 1 permanent PT, and a rotating cast of traveling new/young grad PT's. Appts are usually 30-40 minutes, with the PT finishing up with a previous person when you arrive, a period of around 15 minutes with the PT alone, and then they phase into their next patient in the last 10 minutes of your appt. Cycle repeat. The PT's seem like nice people who want to help patients, but I have seen district managers stop by, and have observed their behavior and demeanors to drastically change and seem more performative and stressed in the presence of management or possibly under management pressures (over metrics? output?) After checking with my insurance, I have come to the conclusion that they are operating according to their own business metrics and performance goals, especially after some tense and strangely performative interactions with some of the PT's there (where they were reluctant to provide services, acted really avoidant, deflected, etc), especially while a manager of the clinic was hovering around. These instances are not consistent with their usual more relaxed friendly demeanors, so it can be very strange, and can feel alarmingly dismissive from the patient side of things as you do tend to develop a rapport with your PT. There also seems to be fairly high turnover, and receptionist staffing can be spotty.

We worked on range of motion and stretching into strength training as I healed up. My goal was to be able to return to work and avoid surgery and we accomplished that. Falicity was very knowledgeable and even TAUGHT me exercises I can do on my own at home going forward to stay strong and flexible and avoid future injuries. If your doctor has recommended PT, or if you just have some pain or range of motion issues, give Select a call. I am very glad I did!

I thought the previous place was okay, but the difference was night and day. Lucas was able to go through and articulate my leg in very specific manners so he could identify the exact muscles that were in need of dry needling. He excluded what I thought it was. He then performed the dry needling and WOW I had major trigger points that he resolved. I have interacted with numerous doctors over the years, and the manner in which he worked; identified the issues; and then immediately resolved the issues was totally mind-blowing. It was ridiculous to see. I don't recall ever having been so impressed with such a workmanlike, precision interaction with a medical professional. I am just blown right now. That dude is amazing. Highly recommended; thumbs up; and A+++ for Lucas at A Fox Physical Therapy. Truly Amazing experience. He is also available at their Thornton location on different days.

Instead, their business model is for the PT to treat two patients at the same time. I assume this is to increase profits but unfortunately at the expense of quality of care. Each time I was treated, there was another patient being treated by my PT at the same time. Each of us patients were simply performing our home exercise program, with the exception of a few minutes of the PT performing some manual therapy on me. Their charges are very high and when I received my statement there were redundant charges that didn't reflect the therapy that I actually received. I have switched to a clinic where I'm the only patient being seen by my PT, who is creative and provides a much more dynamic exercise and manual therapy program and I'm progressing well with my rehab. Unfortunately, RMSS is so profit driven that they sacrifice quality of care. As a practicing PTAssistant, I know what charges should be put in for the treatment I received and what quality of care looks like.
