The first meeting should be your interview with your care provider and see if it is a good fit. Customer service is very very poor with their staff. All they do is read a script. They don't listen to you. I was most likely on some list to rid me. This is a trend in many medical places. I feel this place misrepresents itself in a manipulative way to lure lonely people who want to be part of something. Beware. They try to suck you into spending money at this place. People are lonely these days, and they manipulate a person into spending money to feel loved and cared. It's a business. BEWARE. An ND has no power to order real medical tests as I also found out from a medical testing center staff stating I need a MD to put in an order. THEY CANNOT ACCEPT THEIR ORDER from an ND. I wrote a review on Google and they replied with false statements. When a place has to write a long, lengthy personal reply - it's a red flag. They should try to find out how to do "better". "please call the office to discuss" would be norm. Nobody apologized. It was so bizarre. I do think they drop a lot of patients. Why do they have a script? I have had a mental block when it comes to pushing off my injured ankle for fear of repeating injury. My physical therapist introduced dribbling and passing exercises to distract me from focusing on reinjury. I have made a lot of progress, and I am very appreciative that he found creative ways to push me forward. The facility is top-notch. There is a huge turf field, a fully equipped weight-training area, and there is a lot of energy filling the wide-open space. The adjustments have been great on me and keep me going at work. I like that Mr. Baker is open and straightforward. I like that this place has lots of parking and friendly and efficient staff. What works best for me is that they have a flow process - I don't need to be exactly on time. I go in anywhere in that one hour window and will be seen soon after the folks before me get treated. My doctor in turn recommended Apple Physical Therapy. Located in the strip mall in Newcastle near the jumble of stores such as Subway, Safeway, boutique pet store and more. Parking can be tricky if you covet one of the front row spots as they often are taken. The waiting room is small, but you won't be there long. Apple is very timely with patients so they never leave you waiting. The front desk staff is attentive and helpful. I always enjoyed talking with them as they helped me make future appointments. The physical therapists are awesome. They know what they're talking about and what they are doing. It took ten sessions, twice a week, but in no time I was back to walking again without pain!

I further advised that I have the insurance that supports massage service. I was advised that the doctor will be the one who will perform the massage! When I arrived I met the Dr and he told me that the massage theripat is not working at the center at this time and he will rather provide me the consultation instead of massage service! I was never interested in the consultation. He said after the consultation however he is happy to provide and recommend for a massage. I already had the reference I noted but then I went along with it as I had traveled all the way to make things work. After the consultation was over few days later I called to book the massage and I was told I need another consultation!! It was clearly a trap. I went to another chiropractor nearby and use their massage and other needed services. They are direct and helpful. I will not use Dr. medeskar services and will not recommend it as they are not forthright. They called me about my balance due and told me to lay it despite the fact I had not received the service I requested, and they told me they will send it to collections. First she did a thorough evaluation to understand what was causing my pain and then treated me with Bowenwork, Reiki and other hands-on treatments to align and balance my whole body. Before each session she would check in with how I was doing. She really listened and gave me feedback on how my body was progressing. I always left our sessions feeling relaxed and lighter. I also did several of the Magnesphere treatments when she got it, which were really relaxing and have continued with it once a month to manage my stress. It's been several months since I last saw Eunice one-on-one and I've been able to work, travel and do all of my activities again without a reoccurrence of pain, which normally would have happened by now. Based on my experience, the manager/owner- Jamie seemed often emotionally dysregulated and the…read morereceptionists lacked professional accountability. My issue began after 3/4 visits, when I told them in-person that I needed to reschedule some future appts and they failed to update their calendar. Months later when I returned for tx, it felt like Jamie went off on me by allegedly yelling, and seemingly accusing me of lying- inside of a closed office with no witnesses! What an awful thing for an owner of a company to do to a handicap medical patient! What ever happened to the benefit of doubt, the customer is always right, or common decency? During my convo with Jamie, he barely allowed me to speak and then explicitly told me that my recollection of events "didn't happen!" Adding 3 more examples of Jamie's behavior that made me feel uncomfortable: 1. At my 1st appt, some of Jamie's front desk staff had ordered coffee for themselves but didn't offer the PTs in the back coffee so Jamie interrupted my appt to allegedly tell his front desk staff that he preferred them to make a coffee order for the entire staff. Then, in an open office, while patients were being treated, he told the PTs that he made that request and made jokes of a delivery war with the front staff. I found this to be toxic and an abuse of power. 2. During my time as a patient, I didn't have access to a portal to manage my appts, I didn't get appt confirmations, and there were no reminders (text or calls) so a month before my appts resumed, I went into the office and got a print out of my future appts. On the day of my 1st appt, 25 minutes before the onset of my appt, I called and asked the staff to confirm the appt time and they asked for me to arrive in 5 minutes (20 minutes early) and I told them that I'd be on time since this was a last minute request that I couldn't accommodate. Well, during my last convo with Jamie (referenced above), he told me that I was considered me late b/c I arrived on time b/c they needed me to do paperwork. It just seems to me that it was the responsibility of his staff to communicate their request for early arrival in advance and I shouldn't have been reprimanded for their poor communication and lack of a patient management system. 3. I feel like it was a horrible idea to have Jamie (a 6'2"+ tall white male doctor and company owner) to be alone in an office reprimanding a patient. Another staff was needed, preferably someone with HR or legal experience. It was esp, a bad idea to have Jamie sitting in front of the door, controlling when it could be opened or closed and when I could leave the room.
