An ND has no power to order real medical tests as I also found out from a medical testing center staff stating I need a MD to put in an order. THEY CANNOT ACCEPT THEIR ORDER from an ND. I don't remember if she asked me why I was there (I think she did) but she definitely didn't ask me if I liked soft-medium pressure (I don't) or if I was cold or hot.
