My lower back, hips and core have been weak due to the multiple pregnancies as well as prior injuries so my pelvic floor doesn't have much support. Kerri has taught me all the important exercises that target tiny support muscles I've neglected for years and I feel myself finally getting stronger. I wasn't sure I'd be able to do much with the pain and aches that was often debilitating and kept seeming to pop up on different locations but Kerri is definitely a pro and I'm excited about the progress we've been making! I've been to many PTs before for different ongoing injuries and Kerri is by far my favorite. The office is also clean, spacious and I like that treatment areas are more private than in some other offices. Though my interactions with others is minimal, everyone else I've engaged with has been super friendly and efficient.

Lake Washington Physical Therapy amazes me with their professionalism, knowledge, and…read moreencouragement. My swift recovery is a direct result of their superb work. This past spring I was struck by a car as a pedestrian and endured extremely serious polytraumatic injuries. After four major reconstructive surgeries, and over a month at a hospital and skilled nursing facility, I was finally able to come home in a wheelchair. Shortly thereafter, I started going to Lake Washington Physical Therapy, seeing primarily Nate and John. When I first started physical therapy, I was still in a wheelchair, with very limited mobility, constant pain, and many, many restrictions. I cannot overstate the severity of my case, from innumerable broken bones to extensive nerve damage. Now, around four months later, I am walking again and back to regular activities like swimming, hiking, and even paddle boarding! Even more importantly, I'm able to live a normal life again -- play with kids, drive, cook, and I will be going back to work shortly. Nate, John (and Brandon!) have been nothing short of spectacular in my recovery and I attribute my remarkably short recovery (for the severity of my injuries) on the talented work of these therapists. The combination of mobility, flexibility, strength training, and nerve recovery exercises combined with the kind and positive environment cultivated at LWPT make going to therapy a joy. What's really neat is that each therapist brings a unique perspective but they are cohesively in sync with my progress and the excercises I am working on and are able to augment seamlessly. I'm excited to continue my recovery with their help -- true rockstars and life-savers in helping me regain my quality of life! P.S. I also wanted to note that the front desk staff were so helpful with my insurance hurdles and getting the necessary extra paperwork to ensure that my therapy sessions would be fully covered (as they should be due to my insurance plan and circumstance) but insurance was dragging their heels. Shout out to front desk staff!

I had to make an account just to make sure I could share how positive my experience was with DPT…read more My PT was Austin, although I did have one session with Paul who was equally wonderful. I went in as a last ditch effort to improve mobility in my neck and right shoulder, which had been near-frozen for about two years after repeated strains. I had tried traditional PT with very little success and was at my wit's end (poor sleep, chronic pain, etc). The first two sessions of dry needling reduced my discomfort so much that I was nearly brought to tears--I had forgotten what it was like to not deal with con stant aches and pains, I was truly overwhelmed. I continued to see Austin for about 4 months, which is longer than the average client, but I kept returning for different ailments because their treatments were so effective. Any chronic pain you deal with can likely be treated by their dry needling technique, even TMJ, which was another massive relief. The only downside is DPT does not go through most insurances, so you end up paying out of pocket. However, their treatments are twice as effective in half the time compared to typical PT, and in the end costs would likely be the same between the two as traditional PT takes so much longer. Additionally, you get to spend an entire hour one-on-one with your assigned PT, no being handed off to assistants or distracted PTs working with multiple clients at once. It was clear Austin cared about my well-being and was determined to help me heal, and I left feeling confident that I could contact him with any questions or concerns I had in the future. I could not be more pleased with my experience at DPT. Bonus: Their front desk administrator, Lynda, is an absolute treat to interact with. Always in a great mood and prompt in returning e-mails and appointment reminders. Another fantastic member of the DPT team.

While at my appointments, it's clear that all staff have great working relationships with each other, and the atmosphere is just very positive all around! They are also able to help each other with patients, which means availability for scheduling is better. Aside from Stephanie, I have also had the pleasure to work with Rachel C. Overscheduling both clients and doctors is also very common between two different Proliance locations I went to. Some days it was impossible to find parking.
