Throughout the process I had gone through multiple companies to get an estimate and Kelly Owen with Select Floors, the manager, was the only one who physically took apart a piece of the wood to know exactly what kind of flooring I had. After some major water damage in my only 5 years young townhome, I was in need of having all of my hardwoods floors ripped up and replaced. I shopped all over the Atlanta area for new hardwood floors. I went to almost every well known store.....Home Depot, Lowe's, Britts, Floor and Decor, Glover's, Moda, Emperial Floors. You name it, I shopped all of them!! Then I stumbled upon Select Floors in Roswell. I decided to call them first to see what their price point was. I spoke with Cassie. She was extremely helpful in providing me with some prices of products that she thought were very high-quality in my price point. When I visited the store the next day, I was pleased to find those products as well as so many others that were high quality and very affordable!! The floors they stock are extremely beautiful and such a large selection. What I loved was they allow you to take some boards home so you can see how they look in your home. They are large boards too so you can really see how they go with your colors in your home. Do this!! The boards look completely different in the lighting in your home. You'll be surprised you may like something in your home that you didn't like in the store. I feel in love with a specific engineered product in the Palmetto Reserve line, Lake Ridge Collection. This product is so well made and a great price. Select Floors was the best price of anyone else who stocked this product. But that is not the reason I decided to let them also do the install..... George, the owner of Select Floors, came to my home to measure and provide me with an estimate. He is is one of the nicest people I have met. I could tell the moment he came into my home, that George truly cares about his customers and their satisfaction! He was so patient with me and answered my questions for over 5 weeks while I was still waiting for other repairs to be completed in my home by other contractors. He is always available and really cares that you're happy before moving forward. So the day finally came when I was ready for the hardwood installation.... George selected Toure for my main installer. I could not be happier with Toure and the other installer's skill, perfectionism, and the fact that he came back for little touch ups even a couple days after to make things absolutely impeccable with the staining of my stairs to match the engineered hardwoods. George even called me to ensure I was satisfied. My floors are amazingly gorgeous. I would recommend Select Floors to anyone looking to redo their hardwood floors. They customer service, skill, and price are Second to None!!! I would give them 10 Stars if I could!! read more

We do not recommend Select Floors. Dealing with them was an absolute nightmare. It took us 48 days from the day we ordered our carpeting to finally get it installed. The customer service was terrible (non-existent). Select Floors blamed the mill for the delays and we had three install dates cancelled. Select Floors never called us with updates - we had to constantly call them. We even had to call the mill representative to try and get our carpeting delivered! We have used many fine local contractors and businesses - but this is the worst experience we have ever had. The only process that went smoothly with Select Floors was them taking the money from our bank account for the 50% deposit and final payment. Very, very disappointing. read more

This review is specific to the Roswell store. Kelly, the General Manager is awesome. He was very involved to ensure every aspect, from start to finish, was to my satisfaction. He knew I had many expenses moving into my home and worked with me to get a price within my budget, yet assuring I received the quality and color I wanted. The guys who installed were great, taking great care of my home during their work. I am very detailed oriented and while they were still installing, I pointed out a small area around the oven cutout not as flush as I wanted (although it would be covered when the oven was installed), Kelly had it corrected immediately. Kelly truly cares about the customer; wish every company had a "Kelly". The finished product is beautiful. They are first class in every way and are the only company I would use again and recommend with complete confidence. Thank you. read more

I purchased a home and found select floors on a Val pack coupon since I am also new to the Atlanta area. Dealt with Kelley he was awesome. We had carpet on the first floor of our house - even the bathroom. I called three companies with sales representatives coming out from each giving estimates. George, the owner, came out from Select Floors. He listened to what I wanted and was able to give us an estimate for the work. We already had wood floors in the entry and he was able to match that with the new flooring. Donna took care of finding a day that would work best for the job to be done. The team of five that came out to do the work was wonderful. They began before 9 o'clock in the morning and worked until almost 7. They finished the work in one day, cleaned up everything, and took some time to explain how to take care of the floor. It was a wonderful experience! read more

My entire first floor is hardwoods. The needed to be refinished. Select Floors was great from the day George came out to give me a quote to the day they finished. They were so professional and friendly and very competitive with pricing. They showed up on time, every time. The moved all my furniture, even wrapping it like it was being moved across country. I needed them to fix something that I didn't like and they were out the next day. The floors are amazing, it looks like a new house. Who knew that buying carpet for your home can be extremely painful compared to buying a car or a house if you select the WRONG carpet company. It's difficult to believe in this day and time that poor customer service is still alive and well. The total time from the meeting with George in our home to carpet installation was 48 LONG days from July 2nd to August 19th. We were told initially the carpet install date was July 29th, but may be delayed a week, which was fine. George then went on vacation. It was at that point, that communications initiated by Select Floors stopped. When we called on the 26th to confirm, then and only then did we learn it actually was now not expected until August 9th. On August 9th, since we had heard nothing, we called to find out if it was going to be installed that day. That's when we learned it was once again delayed until sometime the week of the 20th. If we hadn't called them to find out if our carpet was arriving on time, we would have never known that there was going to be yet another major delay. At this point, we have had to endure stepping over numerous boxes and furniture for over a month with no earthly idea of when we were getting our carpet. Talk about CRUEL and UNUSUAL punishment! We did eventually get our carpet installed. The installation was fine, and we are very pleased with the actual carpet itself. Word of advice....choose another carpet company!! read more
