Great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. They keep the range pretty clean and are incredibly serious about safety. Everyone who comes in is first forced to watch a video about what to do at the range. (You can skip it if you've been in before) It's also likely that you'll get a bit of free instruction while you're there. That said, the range itself is pretty small (I think 10 lanes) and can get crowded quickly, especially if they've got any promotions running at the time. If they've just released a groupon, for example, be prepared to wait for an hour and potentially not shoot because they close down shooting before their official closing time. Then, when you do shoot, you'll be close enough to spy on what your neighbors are doing. BUT. Despite the wait, these guys know what they're doing and create a pleasant atmosphere for everyone, from new shooters to experienced marksman. You can shoot rifles (.223) here, so that sets it apart from other places. I mean, you have to buy their ammo, so that can get pricey quickly, but they're really sweet about helping you pick it up if you're into reloading when you shoot elsewhere. This place is just generally solid and definitely worth visiting, especially if it's a discount night of some sort. read more

Had a great experience! My brother and I had never shot a gun before, let alone handled one. Yesterday was our first time at this range...we'd only been to Stonewall. Long story short, we won't go back to Stonewall again. Select Fire was clean, well organized, and the staff was courteous. We waited about an hour to shoot, but it was also Saturday afternoon so we were expecting that. We will definitely go back. read more

This range is phenomenal, I purchased a Glock 17 from here and have shot here several times. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, and will never steer you wrong. They have extensive offerings in guns, both for rent and purchasing, self protection, and classes which I have not personally taken, but look forward to in the future. I've shot here a few times now and I like this place very much. Guys working there are always great, helpful and they don't treat you like a new shooter if you're not. I believe all the employees have a military or LE background which makes me feel comfortable for some reason. I have a range much closer to me than SF, but I take the extra drive time and and go here instead. Saftey seems to be a top priority for them which is very important. The place looks new and always seems to be clean. I'm not sure if I'm making it up in my head, but I feel like the ventilation inside is better than other ranges I've been to maybe its just me?? Standard ammo selection and prices for a range, but I heard you can get 10% off ammo when you have a membership; not a huge savings, but saves a trip to Fin or wherever I pick up ammo. All n all I'd say its one of the better ranges in the area and I've shot at most of them. read more

I saw the store while driving to Fin ,Feather , Fir. There were 4 or 5 people behind the counter , one female waiting on a customer. Four people were watching a range safety video (which I thought was great). I walked around unnoticed for about 5 minutes, went to the counter stood there while the guys talked to each other , joked, etc. still no one acknowledged me. After 15 minutes in the store , still no one even asked if I needed help. SHAMEFUL. I KNOW none of the could have been the owner. I am a n avid shooter belonging to a female group of over 250 women who are always looking for places to shoot and BUY stuff! We mostly shoot in Lake County but some have asked about finding places further west. After The poor or NON-EXISTENT customer service I will NOT be recommending this place. read more

This is a range done right! The obvious advantage is that this is a new facility. The staff is friendly, professional,and focused on safety. Others in the area should take note. While there are not be many accessories, firearms or ammo to pick from. That point is moot as Fin Feather Fur is right up the street. Bring your ammo, targets, toys and have some fun. Instead of greeting my new friend who's never shot before with a bit of comfort and giving him pointers and suggestions; they disrespected him and myself by mean mugging us at the store and belittling us. I love this place! Had a private lesson with Anthony, it was awesome. Though i shoot often, he gave me great instruction on how to improve. I took the corrections and had immediate results. Best gift my husband ever gave me! As others have said, the place is clean, modern, and a comfortable temperature. (many indoor ranges are too cold for me in the winter...) The waiting areas are roomy, comfortable, and clean. If you do end up waiting, the wait is tolerable because of the environment. I have been to most of the indoor public ranges in a 4 county radius and this is BY FAR my favorite. read more

Went here for the first time this weekend. Very nice facility. Comfortable waiting room, clean and well lit. The RO was very helpful and kept the range safe and clean. Staff was friendly although busy. The selection is limited but they have what you need, and all I need is somewhere to shoot. As someone stated before load up at Fin before you stop by. I'm considering taking a private lesson to make sure I can hit my target consistently. FWIW I live about 7 minutes from everybody's "favorite" range but will continue to go to SF. read more

dont waste your money. I took their concealed carry class and the range instructor told me my ruger LCP was unacceptable because it was to small. He was rude and had the people skills of a pit bull. After i made one mistake in the class room he continued to harass me on the range and when i returned two weeks later. Then he had the balls to advise me that stonewall was unsafe. overpriced and unprofessional. read more

First time at a range so I had a lot of questions, not too busy in the store (2 other people there) and the person behind counter did not want to answer questions. Told me were to sit to watch a video but didn't want to take the 5 seconds to show how to get it started, I know that helping customers is not part of his job, OH WAIT IT IS. When I asked about buying a product that they sold (a case) he did not want to show me, so I did not buy it. I will not be going back. read more

Staff doesn't know how to efficiently keep people in the shooting stalls. I went there with my wife yesterday to do a quick shoot. We were the first on the waiting list which wasn't a problem. Within about 35 min more and more people came in and we're placed on the waiting list. Shortly after, people started coming out of the shooting stalls to check out but the employee never filled their spots with the people waiting. So the lobby was filled with people waiting to shoot, people waiting to check out after shooting and people waiting to buy gift cards and equipment. We waited a half hour before we left. When we left there was a lobby full of people and 4 shooting stalls open that had been open for 30 min. I will not be going back to this range. When we told the employee we were leaving there was no apology for the wait. He just said oh yeah we were just about to send you back. Which was a lie. read more
