He was so knowledgable, that even after just a couple minutes of meeting him, I knew I could trust him with my life. *3. He was so patient, that it made us feel comfortable to ask questions, which I feel, in this line of work, is VERY important. *4. He knew how to lighten the mood, at all the right times, and knew when it was time to be serious. *5. Never once did he belittle, put down, or make anyone feel less important, less adequate, or less deserving. Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE!!.. I have already referred a few friends to take your course, just within the few hours of leaving, even if just for the knowledge they'll gain!!.. My dad already has his CCW, and after telling him about it, he might be signing up, just to learn more!!.. I commend this company, for hiring some TOP NOTCH guys!!.. My instructor at the range, I believe was Adam, but I could be wrong on that.. (I had ear protection on!!) He kept the class interesting, it was an all day course and For someone who has a short attention span the material and his lecture kept my attention. The day actually kind of flew by. The range time was also very informative. I liked that I had my own coach that walked me though everything and helped with any specific issues that I had. My coach was Jason, he helped explain what I was doing wrong and how to correct. He was really personable and patient. There were a total of 5 coaches including Nick our instructor from class. Sitting and watching the other coaches with other members of the class you could see that each coach was very patient and very knowledgeable and passionate about this field. Husband and I went out for dinner after class and actually starting looking at the other classes that they offer. I would highly recommend this business for the CHL class and even though I personally have not taken the other classes that they offer. I fully intend on doing so and would recommend them. They told me to take them back to where I purchased them. If the store will not take them back and wilson will not take them back I am out over 90 dollars. They lost a customer and will not be back.

Explained everything we needed to do (and not do) thoroughly and with intent. Once we stepped into the range, Soni was there to guide us through the machinations of what was just explained to ensure that we were proceeding cautiously and safely. The firing experience was excellent. So much trepidation before pulling the trigger for the first time. But my wife and I both eased in, respected the equipment and environment and followed Soni's recommendations as far as grip, stance, etc. We both shot a .22 and a 9mm and even got to walk away with our cardboard target as a memory. The bonus add-on was that if you partake in the package, they offer a 25% discount off your bill at Suds McGuires (right across the street). Different way to spend an evening and I couldn't recommend this establishment, for putting us at ease while also instilling confidence, more.

The riverside range and pro armament are not affiliated with each other. While they share the same…read morefacility, they are two separate businesses. To get to the range simply walk into pro armament and the range entrance is in the back left corner. An employee of the range/range officer is not always present to be sure to call ahead of time to set up a membership. If you are a member, you get access to the range even when no range officer is present. The range is 25 meters, pistol and rifles (up to a certain caliber) are allowed but shotguns are not, members and their guests are only allowed to take up one lane, there are 7 lanes so if you go during busy hours you may have a wait. Why 4/5 stars? It's a smaller facility with only 7 lanes. It's an excellent 5/5 if you are looking for a place to be minutes from your home where you just need to get your fix in for an hour and take off. It's not a good range if you want to practice drawing from the hip, rapid fire, movements and more. It receives 4 stars because the range makes the most out of the space they have. The lanes and facility are very well put together.

Lake Erie Arms is a place I want to love but it just keeps shooting itself in the foot. I can no…read morelonger justify going here after this membership expires. Gun selection is awful, prices are outrageous compared to other places. I stop in occasionally to look, and I'm flabbergasted by how much more things cost here. Used section is abysmal. Accessories and parts are limited, and the floor just feels empty in general. I've had my suffix replaced on my waiver randomly using my dad's instead of mine, which causes some issues. Range restrictions are so dynamic that you basically have to call every time you go to see what's allowed and what isn't. They've changed ammo restrictions at least 4 times on us since we have started going. Ammo prices are outrageous, and it's not uncommon to see ammo box purchases being limited to 2 per person. Took a CCW class here, class was interrupted by a guy explaining USCCA membership benefits for an hour of the entire training session (supposed to be 8 hours of training, so I don't know how incorporating that is necessarily relevant). Ask what the catch is, there's no catch. Okay- sign the paper because class is about to start again, worth trying since I might go to the range this month, move on. A month passes and I don't benefit from the membership so I go to cancel it, and then I'm told it's a yearly contract. "It says on the paper you agreed" well yes of course I signed it when we spent an HOUR talking about it and were told there was no catch to it. Absolutely scummy move by LEA. Went to Sherrif's office during my work break and wasted a bunch of time because apparently the trainer was not listed as verified on the USCCA website. The lady in the office had to make a bunch of phone calls just to figure out if she could give me my license or not. Service is generally good, but it's overshadowed by the rest of the issues LEA faces on a day-to-day basis. The place that promises to be everything a gun nut needs is just outclasses in all categories by other locations- which makes it very difficult to justify going.

I first Attended CDT for a first aid/trauma class. Learned a lot of valuable life saving…read moreinformation. Instructors are very knowledgeable and really know what they are talking about. These guys actually care about the topic and all of the knowledge that they are sharing. I feel that if faced with these scenarios, the skills learned in these classes can greatly affect the outcome of the scrnario. I've since been back for other events since the trauma class and Crucible Defense Training hasn't let me down and continues to provide an excellent and safe experience! I highly suggest CDT for all their shooting courses as well as their care under fire course.

I felt very confident and appreciative of his teaching skills.
