I can't speak about the range that might be fine but the gun counter manager is incompetent and arrogant. "He" or "she" not sure it's pronouns but "the manager" was helping me the day prior with a trade in. I told they/them I was on the range USA website and was given an offer of 390.00. It told me best it could do was 350.00 with seeing the rifle. I returned the following day and met with a "senior sales associate" that has never heard of the very obscure and rare weatherby rifle. He gave me a quote for the rifle at 300.00 so I chuckled and asked can you talk to someone because I just talked to a guy that told me to bring it in and he could get me more but he had to see it. The senior sales associate walked away for 2 seconds and came back and told me that was the best he could do. He said the website usually can give more than they can and said if I'd like to I could speak with "the manager" so I walked over he looks up from his phone and laughs in my face "I told you what I could give you yesterday day bud" looks back down and finished his statement to his staff and walks away. I'm not sure how range USA does business but it seems like they have an ego problem there or maybe just a case of poor management. I will say there was an older man that had a medical emergency a few minutes after I arrived and the whole staff went into a complete meltdown panic. I hope you take my experience and stay far away.

So I was sold defective magazines that I did not know were defective until I tried to use them. I tried to contact wilson combat about problems with previous magazines that did not work. They told me to take them back to where I purchased them. If the store will not take them back and wilson will not take them back I am out over 90 dollars. They lost a customer and will not be back.

I'd like to update my previous review with one admittedly from a more experienced standpoint…read more Since my pervious review, I have returned a few times; and these few times have actually been very enjoyable, and the service has been much better. One thing to note, is their 2000 FPS limit is for rifles. The FPS limit for handguns is 1600 FPS. This will not pose any issues for many, however as someone who regularly shoots 454 Casull and 460 S&W, 1600 is pretty limiting. Summing up, service and experience has been all in all very satisfactory in the last month, and therefore I must update my review and credit The Marksman of Norton, Ohio with a well deserved extra star. It's definitely worth a go!

In addition to individual training, they offer many instructive and fun group classes at low prices. Their annual membership is a huge bargain if you are like me and go once a month or more. One more thing; they sell used guns on consignment at great prices for those looking for a bargain, or to sell what they no longer shoot. And their commission on those sales is more than fair. The clerks and range officers have been super-helpful, giving advice and walking me through simple questions, and the range is always spotlessly clean and the air well filtered. I've taken one class there (pistol cleaning), and it was very hands-on and informational, to the point where I'm absolutely sure that I'm taking more classes on red dots, etc. Also, if you're a liberal (like Yours Truly), it's an admirably politically neutral shop. The other ranges we'd been to were festooned with "Let's Go Brandon" signs and whatnot, but while I'm sure everyone here has their own opinions, they generally just restrict them to guns, which is good. I'm not particularly quiet about my own LGBTQ status, and all I've ever gotten is friendly conversations here. Only ding is that I special ordered a gun from them, and I'm pretty sure they just forgot to call me when it was in, as I had to physically go into the store and ask about it after a three-week delay, at which point the clerk on duty seemed vaguely surprised to find it was in the back. But I'm writing that off as a one-time incident, since everything else has been good; if something else like that comes up, I'll let y'all know.
