Terrible service and even worse staff. Do your self a service and go to the fin feather fur or the armory in canal Fulton. I can't speak about the range that might be fine but the gun counter manager is incompetent and arrogant. "He" or "she" not sure it's pronouns but "the manager" was helping me the day prior with a trade in. I told they/them I was on the range USA website and was given an offer of 390.00. It told me best it could do was 350.00 with seeing the rifle. I returned the following day and met with a "senior sales associate" that has never heard of the very obscure and rare weatherby rifle. He gave me a quote for the rifle at 300.00 so I chuckled and asked can you talk to someone because I just talked to a guy that told me to bring it in and he could get me more but he had to see it. The senior sales associate walked away for 2 seconds and came back and told me that was the best he could do. He said the website usually can give more than they can and said if I'd like to I could speak with "the manager" so I walked over he looks up from his phone and laughs in my face "I told you what I could give you yesterday day bud" looks back down and finished his statement to his staff and walks away. I'm not sure how range USA does business but it seems like they have an ego problem there or maybe just a case of poor management. I will say there was an older man that had a medical emergency a few minutes after I arrived and the whole staff went into a complete meltdown panic. Well I signed up over the counter and I went back in more than once the manager said it was submitted his name is Kenny in Akron Ohio on Killian road I never seen anything assumed it was taken care of yet it keeps taking out of my account you can see I have not went to your range in several months I think a refund is in order read more

Had a great time shooting here today. Rented 2 lanes for an hour. Staff was friendly, was offered help several times. If you want to become a member you do need to fill out the application online. We had our own guns and ammo so for 2 people with 1 lane, it was $47 with tax but that included 2, $5 waivers that's now good for a year. A little pricey but for an extra $10 you can become a member and come back unlimited for the next 30 days. Plus you can fire ARs, shotguns, etc. I'll be back! read more

In my opinion, I advise against buying a "new" firearm from Range USA. A few positive things worth noting. They have an excellent range, instructions, and merchandise. The store is very clean. I asked about a 3310 form, and was immediately told I am intentionally avoiding the form. This was not the case, as I was seeking info on it. The member of staff immediately revoked any purchasing privileges for the day. I've bought several firearms from here with no problem, I've even talked about the 3310 form a few times to other staff members but this member it was not kind at all. I would avoid this Akron store at all costs. Elite Membership canceled. This was the behavior of the store manager. I was told by a Range USA corporate employee that the manager determined "the customer was trying to subvert form 3310"... "in his limited information" - "he might have overheard something" - "He should have had a better interaction with you" It is rather infuriating that someone, especially the manager, would assume one is trying to subvert a federal form because they asked some questions about its use. How absurd. Avoid, avoid, and avoid! read more

For an indoor shooting range, it's up there with any of the more pensive options. The sales floor is well stocked with ammo as well as rifles, pistols, and shotguns to suit anyone. For the most part, the staff is knowledgeable. The price is pretty good. Membership of one of the 3 tier options is really the way to go if you shoot more than 2wice a month. They have 2 separate bays which they'll do their best to separate for the caliber. (Example: pistols in one, rifles and shotguns in the other). Just don't be that guy , or gal who runs a break on their AR and wonder why you piss off immediate company!! No green tips either. The sparks will give you away!! No bird or buck shot. Only slugs for your Mossberg 500's. Probably no types of fragmenting ammo as well. It's not very deep so get your 100yd zero elsewhere. On occasion, you'll get one of the young hothead types of range master who passive aggressively judges you on your groupings to the other staff. Taller, white gentleman, brown hair. Doubt he's served but has enough YouTube knowledge to fool unknowing patrons. You know who u are. All in all, it's worth the price of admission if your looking for a fun date night or just wanna see what size holes you can put into the huge silhouette targets. Thx read more

So, here is my story. I was scheduled for my range proficiency class to obtain my CCW and for whatever reason the class was cancelled and I was not notified. So when I arrived and found this out they could have easily told me to reschedule, instead these folks went out of their way and called someone to come in and take me through the class. This was amazing customer service that you just don't find nowadays anywhere. I truly appreciate what they did for me, they have a customer for life. I will tell all my friends and family !! Best range and gun store around. Most gun shops and ranges are cluttered and dimly lit with less than helpful staff. These other gun shops employees always seem like you're interrupting their day if you need help or have questions and then you get pressured to buy something. This is not the case here. This place is brightly lit and adorned with bright orange signage everywhere. The floors are clean, the bathrooms are clean, the shelves and vending machines are stocked, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The two full ranges are well lit and warm. I mention the temperature because some other ranges I've been to are downright freezing cold on the inside to the point you can literally see your breath while shooting! Range USA offers memberships to shoot that come with perks and discounts but membership is not a requirement to use the range. I took my CCW class here in one of their instructor led classrooms and it was a great class. As far as prices of weapons and ammunition I'd say it's just slightly higher than some other competitors might be but if you sign up for their emails they're always running sales and online discount specials. Don't pass this place up! read more

Half the workers didn't know what they were doing failed to mention some of the rules even after paying till another employee said something about it didn't know how to work a computer system and when called before hand I had called and they said you can be 17 and over with out a parent present but when we went to go in the change it saying you need a parent and I will not be coming back to this establishment for poor service read more

They are great! I have gone several times now, for both buying a firearm and to shoot. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help and give tips. One even offered to help sight in my rifle for me. Everyone is well experienced with firearms and will help you feel safe and welcome.
