BUYER BEWARE! Total scam!…read more I Was contacted by Charlotte Matchmakers after making an online profile on another website. I went in for an appointment and met with Nancy. She made it seem like the service was great and they had lots of Christian men looking for a match, lots of men my age and they even go out and scout to get new members. She offered me a discounted deal for 5 matches and I could do a payment plan. I paid $1K and was told I could pay the other $1K in one month. On Monday I was contacted by Nancy and told they couldn't proceed without me making a full payment--no work had been done on my account as of yet. I told her I had changed my mind and didn't want to proceed. I contacted my credit card company to request a stop payment. 25 days after I sent multiple emails and left several voicemails about my request to cancel I heard back from Charlotte Matchmakers. She told me they were still "investigating" my request. I told her I had already requested a stop payment. ANOTHER 30 days later I heard back from my credit card company that Charlotte Matchmakers was disputing my stop payment. So these jerks get to keep my $1K for NOTHING. I should have read the reviews before I went in. I was taken advantage of and these people will pressure you and take your money. It's horrible, totally not worth it!
