Terrible service. Did not provide me with the service but sent me to collections for not paying.

Sells themself as an elite match-making service that will "match" you with a person that meets your criteria. You'll spend 2 hrs defining your "criteria" and they will match you with anyone, regardless. They charge an "elite" fee for a service no better than a dating app. You actually have a better chance on a dating app. Once you sign their contract, there are absolutely no terms under which you can cancel or receive a refund. Save your money and time! They will lie and make promises that they don't keep.They lock the door when you get there.(they say so no stranger comes in??) I think they are worried that a client might be coming back for their money back! You fill out lots of questions and answers and I don't think anyone ever looks at them again. I initially sought out Carolina Introductions because I liked the idea of the national background check and not having my personal information and picture all over the internet. Being a widow for three years after nearly 40 years of marriage made me a little nervous about dating again. Nancy made me feel comfortable about seeking out a relationship. Oliver, my assigned matchmaker, provided me with my first match within a few days. Both my first and second match were nice guys. My third match was perfect. We are both veterans, have worked in some of the same places and have even lived within a few miles of each other. My three primary requirements were that he is a Christian, has a sense of humor and is kind. Seven months after we met, we were married - and we are so happy. I believe I should count myself lucky that never made it to the point of paying anything. All I had to do was ask do they check Covid status on these people because I will not date somebody that has taken the poison. The 68-year-old lady I was speaking to in Florida who fields all the calls, started arguing with me, and then hung up. she was definitely high pressure, but see you when I detect that, I usually go the other way. Oh, by the way, she did try to tell me at all different payment levels that they will cater to. You can order different packages. Lord have mercy on these crazy people. read more

Stay away. High pressure sales and they misrepresent their services. Extremely expensive and the matches they provide aren't even as good as the usual on-line dating sites. No "personalized service". I tried to downgrade to a slightly less expensive program and they told me "all sales final." Terrible organization, terrible customer service. read more

This company keeps changing names and continues to rob good people of their hard-earned money. I was a member years ago in Charlotte. They charged me $6000 for lifetime membership, but went out of business and changed names. I never met anyone compatible and after getting to know other members, we exchanged information about our contracts. Essentially, everyone was charged what they agreed to. Some people declined the outrageous charges, and were offered lower charges than others. Men were charged much less than wormen. As a new widow at the time and extremely vulnerable, I was definitely taken advantage of. I will never forgive this company for ripping me off. The same woman, "Dawn" appears to still be involved. I don't know how she lives with herself. But then again, probably very well considering the amount of money this company charges vulnerable people. Shame on you! P.S. this required me to rate a star. This was my first time going to a match-making service of this type. I had grown tired of sites like Match and Elite Singles and wanted to try something different. I scheduled an appointment to meet with Nancy. The initial meeting exceeded my expectations, as Nancy was so personable. She felt like someone I would love to have a drink with! I am not going to lie, it is pricey and that was okay with me. Sometimes if you want to meet certain types of people you have to pay for it. So, somewhat skeptically I handed over my money. When I went home that day I began to do some online research on the company and immediately began to worry. I shared my deep concerns with Nancy, and after listening to her side of the story and the fact she could and did respond to the negative reviews with facts and evidence to the contrary was reassuring. You will see a lot of the rebuttals to the negative reviews right online. Between speaking with Nancy and Rebecca I genuinely felt heard. Their response time and attentiveness to my concerns were impressive. Within a week I had my first date. The date was quite lovely and I felt like Carolina Introductions listened to what I wanted in a partner and matched me with someone who did have the qualities I was looking for. Sadly, he preferred someone shorter than me. I discussed this with both Nancy and Oliver, my official matchmaker. I do believe they will be proactive to make sure this does not happen again. Now I do want to caution you, that if you are the type of person who needs a date every week, this is not the service for you. There's a lot of thought that goes into planning who you match well with. I appreciate the fact, that they won't just pair me up with anyone. I do not care if I date every 6-8 weeks because they are looking for the right match. I would rather wait for quality instead of wanting quantity. I signed up for Carolina Introductions nearly 2 years ago. A few hours after I signed up I met somebody who was scammed out of $3000 from them. After reading horrific reviews about them online, I called immediately the next morning to cancel the service before they had put any additional time into my account. They refused to refund my money. They have made it clear all along that they do not give refunds or even partial refunds if you no longer want to deal with them. They also have made no commitment to complete my contracted matches in any particular length of time. I've only received 5 out of the 8 matches I purchased in nearly 2 years and none of the matches were even close to what I was looking for. So as far as I'm concerned this could go on for several more years. I would really hope that anyone considering this service would carefully review the other comments that are listed on the BBB, Google and other websites. They basically say the same thing: They were given a high pressure sales pitch coercing you into signing a binding contract with no refunds, they have lied continuously, have been unresponsive to phone calls, don't honor their word, etc. We all have given them thousands of hard earned dollars (some way more than others as they have variable pricing) and have been victims of this terrible scam.
