Exceptional price and service! I had Matt wire up a new 50-amp breaker to a ChargePoint level 2 wall-mounted charger for my EV. I had the technician come in today to repair a GFI in my bathroom. He came in and was very polite.. the issue was actually with the bathroom next door in the rental unit! He waited around for over 1/2 hour extra without complaining to be able to get into the other unit. The work he did was professional and tidy! This ones tricky! I'm sure they try and do their best. Possibly a fluke??? Who knows? It would seem that the workers , got a little over zealous, and with poor judgement, (or poor guidance) proceeded to dig an unnecessary trench in my fellow citizens driveway. Its my opinion, had they waited for a response from the utilities company, upon realizing their distress, no extra digging would have taken place! Matt Sorenson of SEI is the best! We bought a new 24" stack washer/dryer for our condo, not realizing that we would need a new 110 electrical outlet for the washer, separate from the dryer. Our older machines all ran together into the one 220 outlet. Matt determined the best way to add the new outlet, and it wasn't at all easy to do in our old building. He also reconfigured some wiring in our electrical panel to be sure we are meeting code. I am so grateful for his help. The place where we bought the new appliances didn't mention that we would need two outlets, unlike the older laundry center stacks. In fact, the installer only mentioned it as he was leaving, after he already put the set in place. I'm not complaining about the work they do. Their work is just fine. I don't understand how it can cost $240 to replace one GFCI wall outlet in the garage. I called SEI Electric and was told it was because of troubleshooting. How much time does it take to determine that, if there are three garage wall outlets not working and one is a gfci outlet, the probable cause is the gfci outlet. GFCI outlets cost $12 on Amazon. Don't they have a schedule of charges for basic electrical work? Does replacing one outlet cost $150 plus $80 travel time plus tax? SEI Electric is an extremely high cost service for basic electrical work. read more

Over the top with service. I am renovating my addition and the previous owners did some crazy electrical work (shoddy) and now I will have to have completely re-wire. I call SEI electric they came over and turned off my power and helped me get rid of the massive wiring that was completely jumbled and it took a few hours and only charged 200.00. I also have some fixtures that our European specs and he showed me how to fix them and so I can use them, but then he said when your ready to hang them just let me know. I will definitely call them back in a few weeks to re-wire the new room and hang my euro spec lights. read more

Then two months later another electrician from SEI calls -says he's following up on old outstanding issues and apologizes.
