I have been to this place twice and twice they have failed to reattach the splash guard underneath my car which took me a day to figure out what the noise under my car was with that thing, flapping and hanging loose. Then they refused to return my phone call and acknowledge the situation leaving me with it hanging by one screw and having to order new ones. I'm actually ticked off. I went back a second time, but I thought the first time might have been a fluke. They also made notes on my check out sheet, that they never discussed with me stating, I declined services that were never offered, and that were needed. When you pay over a hundred and thirty dollars for an oil change you expect to leave with at least new oil and all of the safety equipment that it drove in the door with. They insisted my Transit needs full synthetic oil, and charged accordingly (including $10/liter for oil and $45 for "synthetic oil charge"). I specifically asked for synth blend, because that's what owner's manual says to use. Told me I was wrong, "just Google it." I'll be heading back over there to show them my owner's manual and request a refund. Doubtful I'll get it. Then I'll write the corporate office, wherever that's to be found, and the BBB. on 6/21/23 had 90,000 mile maintenance, all OK, no oil leaks. On 3/7/24 at 96492 had oil change at Sehome Express Lube. Started noticing oil leak. 4/22/24 had to get new oil pan at Jack Caarrol Hyundai due to new hairline crack after Sehome oil change. $830. Complained to Sehome, they said it must have the previous service (no oil leak after that though). They refused to do anything at all. I filed a BBB complaint, which they responded to once with nothing but denials, and never responded again. Avoid this business at all costs. read more

It was a rainy Saturday morning and I was overdue for an oil change, so I popped in to Sehome Express Lube because it's close to my place and they had a Val-Pak coupon for $3 off. I arrived with my Kindle and a fully charged cell phone, expecting the usual longgggggg wait at most oil change places. There were already two cars being serviced, so I was glad I'd planned ahead to keep myself occupied. Well imagine my surprise when, 15 minutes later, they were already done with my car! I'd barely had time to check in on Yelp and post my photos! They happily accepted my Val-Pak coupon, so for a full synthetic oil change and a 15-point inspection of my car it came out to $68.95 plus tax. Not a bad deal, especially for such fast service. Door to door I was out of the house for less than half an hour. The techs were super friendly, too. I will definitely be making this my usual stop for an oil change. read more

Called here to get a price on an oil change. Guy was put out that I wanted an estimate and grunted and sighed. Finally told me what it would be and just hung up the phone. Went there for the oil change, price was reasonable. Asked manager why such lousy customer service and hangup and he said: we get really busy and we don't like to give out prices on the phone cause most customers don't know what kind of engine they have etc. So yes we hangup abruptly. We don't have time to be courteous. Mind you I got there and there was one customer. Oil change done I less than 10 minutes. Checklist states they vacuumed, they did not, air filter said customer filter, never checked. Topped off windshield fluid and total, $52.67 Nor impressed at all. read more

Make sure you are very specific with this crew. They are very opinionated and will basically tell you they know better. Needed full synthetic, and asked specifically for a particular brand for which they carry but not in this car's particular weight but did have it in another brand, which was fine. After the service it was discovered that they used the synthetic blend high mileage oil. Car is barely over 40,000. After much discussion, more or less telling me I didn't need full synthetic they relented and changed it out, couldn't verify because you couldn't get out of your car and had to rely on there word. Service is not as requested and the charge was $109. You can get better service. read more

Don't waste your money here! They changed the oil, stole 5 screws to the skid plate, and put on my receipt "5 screws missing on skid plate"... on my brand new Honda! NEVER said a word, let me drive off, unsafe. Only to find out the skid plate on the ground while driving, and they tried to blame it on a oil change place in New York, 3 MONTHS PRIOR! Terrible customer service. I got there at 4:30 (they close at 5). Took them 15 minutes to come out and tell me they wouldn't be taking any more vehicles. Stopped in to get an oil change. Took the guys 5 minutes to get me a price for an oil change and filter replacement. I've had it done down in Seattle for around $75 with synthetic oil. These guys told me it would be $140 before tax. When I asked how the cost was broken down took another 5 mins to get an answer. Synthetic oil is more expensive but they wanted to charge me $65 for the filter (40 + a $20 up charge because it was a special order?!!) it's a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta!! Drove right away to Master Lube on Maple St. Had me in and out in 15 mins and it cost $98 with tax. Steer clear of Sehome Lube unless you like being overcharged. ! read more

I'll tell you one thing: they can change your oil. I'll tell you another: they somehow can manage to screw up your tachometer and fuel gauge in the process (don't even ask, I have no idea how this is possible). I took my car in for an oil change and left the worse for wear with the guys who did the change only shaking their heads unsure about how it's possible they could have screwed up my tach and fuel gauge. They looked around for a few minutes but could not find anything unplugged or out of the ordinary, and yet here I sit still having paid almost $40 for an oil change (not even offered a refund) and no idea what the looming mechanic bill is going to be to get this problem fixed. read more

Went into inquire about an oil problem, and was greeted rudely by Connor, who had headphones in, and didn't bother to look up from him phone to talk to me, and every question I asked he replied in a condescending tone. Instead of answering my questions he made me feel stupid for asking them in the first place. I'll be avoiding this place in the future. I just went into get my oil changed. RUDEST service I've ever experienced ANYWHERE!!! nothing posted anywhere during the COVID-19 era on what the patron is to do. Couldn't hear a tech due to a loud vehicle next to me....then to be yelled at from a 20 something kid who looked like I distracted his nap. Jumped on when I went to hand keys and warned about 6 feet. Again, nothing posted to indicate rules. Would've went well if he'd simply said Sir due to the virus, we can't enter your car or take your keys, yet they can take your credit card to pay. Asked on what they did and the response was, it's on your receipt. Really? The experience ended with, pull out, from a robotic service person. On arriving home found that the receipt said that they checked tires which never happened, vacuumed interior? Washed windows, front only and said I told them no on wind shield wipers, which never happened and charged me for a full service that never was. I was a regular customer at this place for the past 6 years and had brought in my vehicles to have serviced. I wasn't even asked if I wanted a wash at their car wash, which I always had in the past. The main reason I ever came in here in the first place is because of its lack of business and ALWAYS no wait, because they NEVER had any customers and now I know why!!! I will be contacting the owner on this after one of their techs made lying comments on my post. BTW there where NO SIGNS ANYWHERE!!! No thank you for your business, NOTHING BUT RUDENESS, NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE TREATED POORLY WHILE KEEPING A BUSINESS DOOR OPEN!!!! The only deal breaker might be if you are on a budget. I think I paid $44 for the "Star Service" change which was to do an oil change and top off all basic fluids. You might be able to get the same thing done for $29.99 elseware but convenience, speed and customer support is definitely some of their strengths. Every time I have ever been there I was in and out in 15 minutes. I will continue getting my oil changes similar services done at Sehome Express Lube. read more
