Let me talk to you about these donuts...when I say they are decent, I mean they are on the high-end of that word. VERY DECENT. VERY GOOD. Always fresh, soft, tasty, & gooey. I love when we get them and they're still warm. Now that's what I am talking about when it comes to a tasty donut. If you ever find yourself in Seguin and craving a donut, the Donut Palace will make your mouth and belly feel like royalty with the goodness they bake.

Best donuts in siagon Texas I have found happy to have these guys in town…read more Makes driving to town to get donuts exciting again. They actually seem to have the donuts they make made when you show up. Unlike the competition you can get what you want actually when you show up. You don't just get it once in awhile and they are out every damn time you go after wards. That's worst part of small town and donuts they have them one out of ten times you go and they don't care. These guys have donuts when you show up always so far. Let's hope it stays that way unlike other places around town everyone can make donuts not everyone can make them and have them for people hot fresh and ready when they come apparently. Love this place they have best toppings and the jelly donuts Rock they're my favorite and they always have them not just once in awhile other donuts places should take notes about service and make there places competitive. Maybe this place will shit all the others down when people find it cause it's best ones in town.

Ok let's start with selection. There are so many choices you might need to let some regulars pass,…read morethis might take a moment. I went with the sausage and pepper jack cheese, and it was delightful. Also had a glazed blueberry cake donut, my go-to to judge across all donut places, and it was a solid 8. Next time I'm going to try the Jimmy Dean sausage or the Granzins. Location is good, right on the corner of FM725 and IH-35 North frontage road, be careful GPS might send you to the south side. As for ambience, it's a donut shop for goodness sake, but it does have a couple tables which is nice. And finally service, it is a lively place and apparently not to forgiving for those who don't know exactly what they want. Felt rushed, and had our tab closed out before we could order drinks, so we just paid and went next door to Whataburger and got our drinks.

This place is one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in New Braunfels!…read more The donuts are solid, but the kolaches are where it's at. They do an egg wash on the kolache bread, which gives them a beautiful finish and keeps them from being dry or dusty (if you know, you know). Bonus: the bread is savory, not sweet like some other places--and I'm all about that. Pro tip: Get there early and grab a boudin kolache while they're still available. I haven't found another place that makes them! What's boudin? (Pronounced BOO-dan, BOO-din, or the French BOO-dah) It's a Cajun sausage made with pork (sometimes duck), rice, herbs, and spices--often including liver or heart. Don't let that throw you off--it's incredibly flavorful. Think: a soft, fresh roll stuffed with cozy, Thanksgiving-style filling. They also make some great apple fritters and bear claws, but again--early bird gets the good stuff. The owners are kind and hardworking, and I love that it's locally owned and operated. Support your community, y'kno! The front staff is friendly too--they remembered me after three years hiatus! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in town. Even worth making a excuse to go!

Having not had their donuts before, I was willing to take a chance and I'm so glad I did. What a hidden gem! The apple fritter was melt in your mouth delectable. I bought one for a friend and pinched off a piece to try. Almost turned around and went back to get more(and apple fritters are not my favorite, that's how good it was). Fast and friendly service put a smile on my face. The vibe reminded me of those donut shops I got to go to as a kid, very homey atmosphere. Will be back for sure.
