So fresh! So tasty. I was heading out on a roadtrip and wanted to pick up some donuts on my way. Cheers Donuts was an easy stop. Having not had their donuts before, I was willing to take a chance and I'm so glad I did. What a hidden gem! The apple fritter was melt in your mouth delectable. I bought one for a friend and pinched off a piece to try. Almost turned around and went back to get more(and apple fritters are not my favorite, that's how good it was). Fast and friendly service put a smile on my face. The vibe reminded me of those donut shops I got to go to as a kid, very homey atmosphere. Will be back for sure. read more

This donut spot holds a very special place in my heart. The donuts are always delicious and when they are fresh they are top tier. They also have some very good kolaches. My favorite thing to eat here is the apple fritters, the only problem is that they are so good that they are usually out if you show up too late. The couple that run the shop are very personable and have gotten to know me from my weekly stops here and always throw in a few extra donut holes as a regular. The food is great and the prices are very very fair. The only thing preventing the 5 star is that the space for the store needs some organizing, not dirty just stock placed in the customer area which is probably due to the fact that they have very small staff. Overall this is a wonderful local donut spot that deserves the support from the local community as you won't find a better value for the quality of donuts in the San Marcos area. read more

Soft, fluffy, buttery goodness. The kolaches are sooooo good. Shirley's cheese makes me queasy but it's so good here. Only downside is the sausage is preeeeetttyyyyyy small compared to how much breading there is but it's so soft you can just wrap it around it. The service was amazing! My friend was really in the mood for donuts so he found this place on Yelp. We walked in and were instantly greeted by a nice gentleman. He was patient with us since we were both unsure of what we were wanting. We ended up getting four kolaches, two dozen cake donut holes, a cake donut, and a cake chocolate donut with sprinkles. It was about $11 which isn't bad at all. The cake donut holes were new to us but we both thoroughly enjoyed them. The only reason they were all cake donuts was because his mixer was broken. To be honest it was not a problem. It was a nice change. My friend was totally in to them. They were delicious especially with the Starbucks we drank with it. If we ever come out here I will definitely stop by again. read more

I'm in San Marcos 5 days a week. I was craving for a doughnut. Well I haven't found a great doughnut place in a long time. I walked in and saw the Buddha shrine. First thing I said to my head They're Asian! (I'm also of Asian decent)...I was so excited. (This means the doughnuts won't be too sweet. Well my search has come to an end. I have found my local go to for doughnuts. Their doughnuts are fluffy, chewy and not too over powering with sweetness. I have to say they do fill the doughnuts well. Usually you only see a tablespoon of filling but not here. Well worth visiting. My family loves their doughnuts. They are willing to drive 30 min for some delicious doughnuts. I'll be back to bring some doughnuts to school. I wonder if they take orders over the phone. I'm just going to have to call. Thank you for some amazing eats. This was our stop on the way out of town for a small BBQ road trip...Not gonna lie, we stopped because of the name...and the photos I researched didnt disappoint...we hit this place around 10-1030ish am, and I was sad to see what they had left in the case, bummed actually...Wife grabbed an Apple Fritter...myself I went with a jalapeno kolache, blueberry donut and a chocolate donut...He also threw in a couple donut holes to go....We get out to the car, and after the first bite....I see why the case was so empty...First off, they open at 5:15 am...in a prime business section...and these donuts were killer good...like a cloud of air when you bite into them...same with the dough they use on the kolache and the donut holes melted in your mouth...easily the best donuts we have ever tried...The worst part, I spaced out taking any photos, except of the store front...This place landed a permanent spot on Google Maps, and we will be back for sure...How can something so simple, be SO Good!! read more

Now THIS is a donut shop! The couple that runs Cheers CARE about the dough. Its art. Delicious art. Fresh! They have breakfast sandwiches, they make the croissants and actually crack an egg and fry bacon for your croissant breakfast sandwich! Spotted this shop while waiting for my wife, and glad I did. Very light textured cake type donuts, tried both blueberry and pumpkin spice, both were great. Apple fritter was also really good, nice dense texture and not greasy. Picked up sone other treats to try later but based on what I did have I'll definitely recommend that you give them a try. read more

I hate to say this but I drive from San Antonio to get Donuts here. The consistency and taste is so much better than any local store and they guys are pretty friendly. You have to get there early to avoid the sell out. This is certainly worth a stop. If you buy a dozen, you'll eat a dozen. Much more substantial and yeast-flavored than other options and very consistent. Great stuff. Prices can't be beat! read more

Went in to get a deal for donut holes and coffee and they didn't have donut holes...at 9:30 in the morning. I feel any donut shop should have donut holes that early in the morning. Also, they should be able to take these deals off and be aware of it when they don't have the product. I will hesitantly try again and leave a different review if their donuts are as fresh as advertised. read more
