The staff was wonderful. The candy was very good. The prices have gone way up. I alway got a pound of sugar free walnuts. But, the now charge by the ounce. There is not pre boxed. I bought two boxes my boyfriend opened up the wrong one but didn't eat any I went in and asked for another box and wrapping and they told me they couldn't do such due to COVID reasons? You can customize a half pound or full pound boxes with your favorite ones OR 1lb and 2lb boxes are already stacked for easy and quick purchase. My kids and I really enjoy coming into this See's Candy location. For a while I was buying a box of their mini chocolate lollipop bits every other week... (a habit I had to quit - real fast) the staff here is always so friendly and they even offer samples. Decided to stop by on my way back home. Got in line then noticed that they had a few candies out of stock (ok expected since Christmas is around the corner) service was horrible and slow. Didn't get greeted or acknowledged not even once (One of the employees was passing out samples and gave everyone one except for me) that's how invisible I felt walking into this store! I decided to then walk out of the store and didn't purchase the three one pound boxes I wanted to buy. Needless to say I will not be going back. See's has been around for so many years and I was brought up visiting their store in Riverside as young as I can remember. The Hemet location is as pleasing as any others. Each visit, they greet you and hand a complimentary chocolate treat to you while you stand in line and wait (or don't wait) to be helped. Only one time have I ever had an unpleasant experience with a rude staff member, and when I casually mentioned it the next time I stopped by, unbeknownst to me I was speaking with a manager who thanked me for the feedback and reassured me that service like that is not tolerated at their stores. The chocolate is mouth watering... mmm. Just writing this review makes me want to take a quick trip over there. My favorite are the bordeaux chocolates (milk) and the chocolate covered toffee. I can eat pretty much any of their candies ... all very tasty. A litttttle on the pricier side but that's what you get with good quality! read more

While the candy itself is still good like I remember it, I won't be paying nearly $20 for a one-pound box anymore. The size of the individual pieces have shrunk a bit too. Three of the nuts-on-top pieces were smaller than a normal size piece of candy. Way overpriced. It's too steep. I about choked when I saw how much it was. I love See's Chocolates. So good and is definitely a nice treat every now and then. But, this location pissed me off because of their customer service. I've been in here before and there are older women that work here and are usually pretty nice to me. But, this last time that I went, it was a week before Valentines Day. They had a few people inside but not too bad. I wanted to get just a few pieces of white chocolate and some caramel patties (which they don't sell anymore and I was unaware of that. bummer). The lady behind the counter asked what I wanted and I asked her what kind of white chocolate they have and she told me 5 different kinds in 2 seconds. I was like WHAT? Can you repeat that? The whole entire time she was telling me again, she was staring at another customer at the register who was being helped by another employee. I asked her a couple questions and she completely ignored me!! I told her Excuse Me??? And she came back to me and said what? Wow. Unbelievable. If she needed to go help them, I wouldn't have a problem with it if she handled it differently with me. It kinda made me feel like I wasn't important enough and she treated me like a kid. So annoying! She rang me up and didn't say have a great day or anything. I'm sorry, but that's not acceptable from See's especially for how much they charge for their candy. I expect them to have great customer service and it just didn't happen this time. I will be back because I love their chocolate that much but their customer service needs to improve for sure. read more

I have travelled the world and as far as I am concerned, See's Candies is the best and the little corner shop in Hemet is my all-time favorite!
