As a young man I collected and folded 100 San Jose Mercury newspapers then started my rought that started on the corner of El Camino Real and Pomeroy avenue in front of Sees Candie's. Every morning in the cold I would fold and pack my newspapers but it was that smell through the walls and glass where like no other. My Nana's holidays would have been incomplete without a box of nuts and chews. Mom even once gifted me with a box of the milk chocolates for Christmas, they would have been my first choice. I was in the area and I remembered this cute Store See's Candy's. I walk in and a very sweet lady agreed us and had a shoe box size full with Chocolates and asked us what type of chocolates we liked. We'll do I say more!! But 1 pieces was plenty I had White chocolate Cashew Brittle yum... but she had Salted Caramel yum! I thought I had the best candy but not to my wife she said You would loved that Salted Carmel next time right But we were on mission 1 box of bridge mix 5 Lollypops 2 Chocolate, Carmel (new) Vanilla, Cafe Latte it Graduation time so something to go with $$ always is nice. I just moved back to Menifee after living in Irvine for some time, and I was always hesitant to go back to See's Candy after having a lousy visit in Irvine, but this store WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! From the store's cleanliness to the store associates' kindness, I am so glad I could visit today! Store Associate Jayden helped me; she is one of the friendliest, most helpful sales associates I have ever met! Went in today to get candy for some of my co workers and the ladies that were working were so pleasant and helpful. Not only did they answer all my questions, they gave me 3 different samples so I knew what was in each box. My night was complete and my sweet tooth gone. Sees was as bright and white as usual. From the door they controls the number of people in the store. They have rearranged the single piece / by the pound area so that there is less movement along the display area. This makes the service better than ever. I walked into See's Candies today to pick up my wife some chocolates (she put her order in early for her favorites). I noticed that the decor of See's has not changed since I was a kid. You know, there was comfort in the change-less candy store. I found myself just smiling away as the ladies in white and black offered me sample bites of deliciousness. The older I get, the more I feel things change at such a rapid rate. The marketing concept of the need for change is to keep ahead of the boredom found within the human race. Bring back the days silver and golden wedding aniversarys. Retirement parties of 30 years or more. waited in 40 minute line out front of the store to buy 3 1lb boxes assorted, preferably wrapped and two suckers....guess I was the sucker.Finally got inside and found they didn't have a single box of one pound anything so I put the suckers in the managers hand and left.Wanted to spend a hunded bucks on gifts for neighbors of my dad.I used to live next to CORONA DEL MAR SEES CANDY..they had boxes of everything piled 50 high with Christmas wrap on it.This manager must think that people enjoy advertising for him in line... he said they could make the boxes for an extra fee..they had 4 registers with one open.MARY SEE must be rolling in her grave.I bought Godiva chocolates at the store in under 5 minutes and dropped them off at neighbors.No warning of any kind to wait in line for manager's scam. read more

I was helped by a really nice and helpful girl named Amanda at this location. They always give you samples while you're shopping and are very helpful in selecting the perfect chocolates for you. They have really cute holiday tins, ornaments and chocolate boxes. My favorites are the raspberry cream and milk chocolate butter cream. read more
