We had a great experience at this store with Christian. I had lightly mentioned about drawing a rhinoceros on my candy box and he took it up on himself to draw one for me. What great service! Thanks Christian! read more

This is another exceptional branch of the See's franchise, having every one of my top 20 favorite chocolates on display! We've visited this store for decades on the first floor of the Brea Mall! The employees are very nice, the selection of candy is perfect, and the experience is wonderful as always! read more

Five stars goes to the sweet lady that was working today on July 20, 2026 around 5pm. This lady was in her 60's and she was so warm and charming. I also loved how they were giving away free lollipops because it is national lollipop day. I always stop by to treat myself to just a couple pieces of my favorite and enjoy the sample where I get to try new flavors. Oh and the AC in here was the best! Poor lady working there must've been cold though lol I hope this shop never leaves the Brea Mall! read more

Always great customer service! Best chocolates! Great gift boxes! I have two locations near me.

Went in just to buy something small, I got the Toffee Bar. Lourdes rang me up and she was very nice, she gave me a sample of the peanut butter pattie. She even gave me two pieces, which I very much appreciated. It was so yummy! Definitely my favorite from the store. If I saw any chocolate peanut butter bars I would have purchased that instead. But my toffee bar was also fabulous, great chocolate taste and the toffee was just the right amount of crispy. I'll probably visit this location again! read more

Their seasonal Valentine's Day treat Dark Raspberry Heart is beyond superb. It's their Dark Raspberry Cream in heart-shaped form: full of decadent, tart raspberry cream and rich dark chocolate. My favorite chocolate piece at See's Candies and the perfect Valentine's Day self-love treat! read more

Went here 6/1 around 4 pm. I was at the tail-end of a larger rush of people and was helped by an older, blonde woman whose name I did not catch. To say she was impatient may be an understatement. I had a hard time deciding what to get, as I don't go to See's candies often and multiple items were sold out. As I was looking around, I heard the woman whisper and complain to her coworker about how "indecisive" I was. I understand that it can be frustrating to get through a large group of customers, albeit there was only one couple who was after me in line. Maybe it was an off day for her, but the experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth that not even the chocolate I bought could chase. read more

Mark helped me I actually came in to get those Marshmallow caramel things but can you believe they aren't getting them in? All the stores he said for a couple months now. I was so sad but I did end up getting the Sees Lollipop box with the variety flavors. It's one of my favorites here and baby girl loves them too. I also love the mint crisps I usually always get a box but not today lol. I love all the candies here it's just candy heaven for us all chocolates galore to melt in your mouth and in your hands lol. Love that they still give a sample of one chocolate to try that's so sweet. I ended up trying the chocolate caramel marshmallow which was incredible but not the same as the caramel marshmallow please bring those back they are a favorite. But the customer service is always wonderful everyone always greets you when you walk in and with a smile. Sort of busy today of course for the Holiday's. I know so many of you have already been here so don't need to say more. Thank you for amazing candy and chocolates for us all we love it. Have the most beautiful day, be kind to everyone :) Aloha read more

I love this particular See's location. In particular, I always hope to get Sheila H! I'm always lucky if I get to see her. She is warm and kind, while also being very professional and helpful. She's like Grandma See's herself, personified. See's should pay her to be their national mascot! read more

You walk into See's Candies at the Brea Mall expecting some magical Willy Wonka type customer service, right? Smiles, good vibes, maybe someone acting like they actually enjoy handing out chocolate samples. Instead we got the most miserable experience ever. We asked for ONE sample and the employee stretched, sighed, and took the deepest breath Sir... you are not handcrafting the candy bean by bean The attitude was actually insane. It felt like asking for a sample ruined this man's entire life. Even the Oompa Loompas worked harder pulling Augustus Gloop out the river than this employee did handing over a tiny piece of chocolate. Like, if you hate your job that much just say that. Worst customer service ever. Chocolate was good but the energy in there was straight bitter. I've seen happier employees at the DMV read more

Lourdes helped us today when we went in the store and what amazing service she gave! We live in Arkansas (they need a Sees... just saying) now but Brea was our go-to store when living in CA so we try to come in when we are in town. She was so sweet? Gave us a yummy sample and helped us load our bags up to take home! The other ladies working was just as kind! read more

Cristian was amazing! He is always so kind and friendly and helpful when I shop at this Sees location!

Prior to Christmas, I had to search out several Sees stores to get a specific toffee the others were out of. The Brea staff were very helpful. They did try an upscale and that's ok. Sometimes the stores overwhelm one with updates and it's a turn off but they didn't push. Also, I appreciated the chocolate sample of my choice. Of all the Sees stores, this is my favorite. Never a bad experience and highly recommend them. read more

Always loved this location especially near the holidays went there to mentally prep for the yearly large candy order but was debating trying another chocolate spot. There was so much stress for a Sunday needed to seek refuge with candy. Sheila welcomed us and she was an absolute delight the kind of warm, charismatic energy that makes you feel instantly welcomed. She offered us samples with so much genuine enthusiasm that it felt like she is the candy in Brea. She was incredibly communicative and made the whole visit feel personal and community-driven. Honestly, Sheila alone made the experience memorable. Will be continuing the yearly candy order for years to comes. read more

Sheila provides superb customer service and is such a pleasure to speak to. Will be back for more chocolate when we're in the area!

See's Candies is definitely a classic! It's the stuff dreams are made of lol. It's what I grew up eating, and what my family bought on special occasions for us and also to give out to our friends/loved ones on holidays. The tradition continues. Service is always exceptional, and the staff is very friendly. They almost always offer you a sample of chocolate while you wait in line... so you walk in eating chocolate and hopefully walk out with chocolate :) My absolute favorite is the tin of TOFFEETTES (now $19.50) I also like their molasses chips, MAPLE CASHEW BRITTLE $12, and the 1 lb box of chocolate Nuts And Chews $19.50. I went to get See's the day before a gift exchange at work, and checked Yelp to find out if there was a location open past their normal closing time of 9pm. It was 9:30pm at the time, and Yelp said the Brea Mall location was open until 11pm, so I drove there and arrived at 9:53pm. I called to find out how long the line was and then asked what time they closed. So glad I did! To my surprise, the associate said 10pm so I rushed inside the mall straight to the store. I ran like there was no tomorrow. Luckily, I made it right before closing... and of course I was offered chocolate in line, which eased my moment of stress. In and out in no time with See's Candies and chocolate! Happy eating and Happy Holidays!! read more

My wife and I visit this sees candy often and we just got to say that Sheila truly is outstanding by the care and time she gives to us and those who visit. She is someone who should be modeled after at all See's candy's. She truly goes above and beyond and we sincerely appreciate her care and time, each time we visit! I recently went into another location and had a bad experience. I needed to make an exchange because the candy I purchased from the other location was bad/stale. I popped into this store like I have many times in the past to make my exchange and once again had the best experience. Mark C. Never fails me. Every time I go in he's so friendly and helpful. I will no longer go to any other location for my candy needs. Gas is expensive but if it means fresh candy with a great experience then the Brea store is my store. Thanks so much Mark C. I have loved See's Candies since I was a little girl. My mom used to always buy boxes of See's for friends and family each Christmas. I guess it was a bit of a tradition that has stuck throughout the years. The service is always great here, and they always hand out samples while we're waiting in line. Samples of chocolate can make even the longest wait in line much easier to handle. Everything here is so good, and there's definitely something here for everyone. I usually get molasses chips or pecan buds for my grandpa, and the rest of my family likes the individual milk bordeauxs or a box of the milk chocolates. I sometimes get a custom box for those who have more specific taste. They even have sugar free peanut brittle and dark chocolate with almonds for diabetic family members and friends, and I'm told these are actually pretty good. With the holiday season coming, I like shopping for fun chocolate Santas and other really cute Christmas boxes and candies. I really love this store, especially at Christmas and can't wait to finish the yummiest part of my shopping list for family and friends. read more

Very clean store as well as very friendly employees!! As most of us know their candy is absolutely delicious!!

Easter is always once of the best time to visit See's Candies. So is Valentines Day. And also Christmas. And in the middle of summer. It's chocolate! Probably is, they aren't cheap. But it's high quality so you get what you pay for. Free samples? You bet! We were discussing the sugar free peanut brittle - and was immediately asked if we wanted a sample. While browsing the store, we were given samples. They were busy so it took a while to check out, and then gave us ANOTHER sample! I've gone a couple times where they've described the sample and I'm like "uh - pass" and they ask me what sample I "DO" want. Talk about service. read more

I just want to say thank you to Sheryl for going above and beyond with kindness and customer service!

The staff at this See's Candies is very friendly and helpful. They greeted our party when we entered the store, gave us time to browse, and helped us fulfill our order. Two custom See's Candies boxes were ordered and they were filled in a timely manner. Samples were given if we were unsure of the piece of chocolate we were ordering. If you are in a pickle and can't decide which one to get, you can't go wrong with the California brittle or the dark chocolate molasses chips. and of course free samples are always given.....which is a definite plus. read more

Pretty impressive. Sees is easily my favorite candy shop and after the holidays, I typically end up with more than I should consume. However, I do not let that stop me. You are either a fan of the candy or you are not - but this review is more about the service of this particular store. I usually receive a prepackaged box or some other item, but this Christmas I received a few gift certificates and decided to finally take the plunge and create my own box. I found it both liberating and terrifying. The lady working there, I think her name was Lauren, was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful, and never once made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. There was a lot of foot traffic in the store and it is a smaller location in the mall, but she handled herself very well. She was friendly and gave a lot of help and that's all I can ask for - it was really a very pleasant experience. I have one more certificate to go and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back. read more
