Deborah was also ALL ABOUT THE MONEY and mentioned I'd have to first fill out a form will all of my personal information to then be accepted as a patient. Hoping this was just an individual mistake, I called back to speak with the office manager. To my shock, she doubled down, refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, and even mocked me instead of addressing the issue. No apology, no accountability, just pure disregard for the emotional toll that comes with infertility. A fertility clinic should be a place of support and empathy, not humiliation and hostility. If this is how they treat people before they even walk through the door, I can only imagine the cold, impersonal experience patients receive in their actual care. If you value respect, compassion, and professionalism, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

They went to a HORRIBLE communication service that is all texting and you can't get a human on the phone for your life. Fast forward. I needed a procedure prior to moving forward with IUI again. Dr. Taylor/Karch wanted to get me in as soon as possible due to timing. I was NOT communicated with timely, so I lost a whole cycle and had to wait 30 days to move forward. I was sent an email with a date and time to show up also told not to eat and drink or take aspirin before the surgery. No specific timing was mentioned. Fast forward to 23.5 hours prior to the procedure I get a notification from Prelude(the trash app they REQUIRE you to communicate through). First telling me that I should not take aspirin 7 days prior and stop taking a GLP-1 10 days prior. How is this proper communication? This is LIFE OR DEATH information that was NOT PROVIDED TIMELY. I also reached out 2 weeks ago to make sure I was financially prepared for this procedure. They tell me one amount 2 weeks ago and then increase the total by $50 more dollars (totaling $1165). Again within 24 hours of my procedure the app messages me that I need to contact my insurance provider and confirm my total. Again last minute they tell me my anesthesia and room are NOT COVERED because their anesthesiologist are third party and don't accept insurance. If I had known this I would have requested the procedure be done through a covered facility and anesthesiologist. Make this make sense. This practice is horrible. I will be sure to share this on all of the review sites possible. I am unsure what has happened to this practice, but it has really gone down hill in patient communication, trust and compassion

She was a comfortable distance from my home and office and was accepting new patients. This random process proved to be the best choice. Dr. Cavalaris was able to determine the reasoning for the migraines I had been suffering from for years. This forever changed my life for the better! I had tried many drugs prior to this and nothing worked. I suffered from a minimum of 3-5 migraines weekly with severe side effects. Once she was able to determine the cause and treat it, my migraines decreased drastically to 2-3 per month and most without severe side effects. What I'm trying to convey is she's an angel and I will forever sing her praises. Moreover, she's straight forward and communicates well. I never leave baffled nor feel like my needs weren't addressed. Quite the opposite! The front desk gal is wonderful and the patient portal is fairly easy to navigate. I can't speak to the quality of the other doctors in this group, but Dr. C and the West Palm Beach staff are phenomenal. I highly recommend this team.

Since then, I have experienced one missed miscarriage, two failed embryo transfers, and numerous delays, including waiting nearly a year between transfers. When Dr. McCarthy moved to a new practice, I followed her because I trusted her and believed that, as a long-term patient, I would receive continuity of care. Instead, when I met with her shortly after she started at the new office, I was told her schedule was already full and that I could not have another embryo transfer until December. I explained that I had recently lost my job and that my insurance coverage would be ending in about six weeks, forcing me onto COBRA and creating a significant financial burden. While Dr. McCarthy expressed sympathy, I was still told there was nothing that could be done because her schedule was already booked. Fertility treatment is incredibly time-sensitive, both emotionally and financially. After years of waiting, losses, failed transfers, and substantial out-of-pocket costs, I left feeling disappointed and overlooked. If timely access to care is important to you, I would ask detailed questions about scheduling and treatment availability before committing to this practice.

Also, I appreciate the women who work at her office and her nurses who take my vitals and assist with procedures. Everyone seems to be efficient and professional. The office is also clean and have lots of hand sanitizer around the waiting room.
