The entrance has heavy wood doors and no automatic opener -- I question whether it meets ADA requirements. I held one open with my body while pushing her wheelchair through, alone, in front of the front desk. Nobody stood up. Then I was told that because we were 14 minutes late, she would not be seen. I explained the surgery and the rehab. I asked for an exception. The receptionist said no. A second staff member said no. She went home without ever being examined. If 14 minutes is the hard line, and nobody will open a door for a woman who can't walk, you know what kind of office this is before you reach the exam room. We transferred her care. Find somewhere else.

First, the clinical interaction with Christine Obermaier, NP, lacked basic professional etiquette and empathy. When confronted with her staff's administrative error, she became dismissive, impatient, and hostile. Rather than seeking a patient-centered solution, she escalated the interaction to a highly unprofessional level, speaking aggressively and raising her voice. Second, the administrative staff engaged in service misrepresentation. I was unexpectedly changed to another provider. So before booking, I explicitly called to confirm if my long-standing care protocol could be maintained. Staff assured me it would be. However, after waiting nearly an hour without communication or apology, I discovered this was not the case. Booking billable sessions on false pretenses, causing excessive delays, and subjecting a long established patient to hostile behavior is an egregious operational failure. Regional corporate leadership must audit the administrative practices and review provider conduct standards at this branch.

My doctor promised to manage (in writing) the lovonox bridge I will need before upcoming surgery. He and his nurse totally dropped the ball. It will be managed by my internist instead. The office staff at my last visit to the office acted like 'what the hell are you doing here' when I said I had a 9 a.m. appointment to have my PT/INR measured.
