Contrary to the previous reports on Yelp, I believe Dr. Krost's office is not only professional, but extremely helpful. Workmen's Comp. has been denying me the ability to get help. Doctor Krost staff are working with Workmen's Comp. to get me the help I need after a T-bone car accident. The original injection to relieve the pain in my neck, as well as my left side of my arm was helpful. As well as other options like acupuncture (love it), holistic ideas, and therapy's. They are quick and efficient, however, taking the time to listen to your concerns as well as your worries. I can only speak of myself however, everyone has their own individual story. Best advice to anyone; research your own illness, see what options are available, what are the risks then communicate that with your doctors. And of course, if you're not comfortable; get a second, third, fourth opinion, those are your rights. Your health is in your hands. Doctors are only a guide you make the final decision. My final decision is I love this place they treat me with respect, they hear my concerns, they guide me in the best directions. I was told I couldn't get the prescriptions I've been taking for many years due to having not been in for a checkup within the last 6 months. I then asked them to check to see the last time I was in which was less than 4 months ago. I was then told that well, it's close to 6 months ago, so we refuse to refill your medications unless you come in. Basically, they want to charge my insurance for an unnecessary visit. It didn't feel genuine or focused on my situation, and overall just felt off. The bigger problem was with the scheduling and communication. It was almost impossible to reach anyone, and the front desk lady (who seems to be related to him) was extremely rude and disorganized. She messed up my appointment dates multiple times- once I drove an hour just to find the office closed. She also kept confusing my name and didn't seem to understand how to handle basic scheduling. Because of all the confusion and poor communication, I ended up leaving and stopping treatment altogether. Very disappointing experience overall, even though Dr. Borenstein himself seemed okay.
