Similar to the Seattle Mudbay, The store is absolutely adorable and packed with everything a pet parent could want. They have leashes, collars, toys, high-quality pet food, and a great selection of fresh and locally sourced options. You can immediately tell this place is thoughtfully curated rather than just stocked with generic big-box items. The highlight for me was finding a leash for my corgi that I've been hunting for online for months that had been discontinued everywhere else. Somehow they had it, and it felt like striking gold. Shops like this are why I always try to explore local businesses when visiting a new place. This place clearly cares about the quality of the products they carry and the experience they create for pet owners. I was super thrilled to see a cute pet supply store here so I could get some souvenirs for my dogs. We felt guilty to leave them at home and have had fun just ourselves. However I left the store with a sad heart. The old man at the cashier was PASSIVE RACIST. I came to the check out with joy and warm smile cause I found perfect goodies for my dogs. But I have also been taking my younger cat there for weekly adjustments and replacement of a splint on his right rear achilles tendon. So i have gotten to know them very well over 9 months or so, in addition to the previous 17 years I have had them as my vet, before Dr. Barfield took over the clinic from Tom Penn, also a wonderful doctor. Yes, they get busy, they have to manage their flow of people through the office and dogs that bark, etc., and it's a tough job. But when it comes down to it, i would trust any of my beloved pets to them, and know they and i will be treated with skill and kindness.
