As a very short-lived previous employee, I can tell you firsthand that if you're not spending over $5,000, you are not worth their time. The owner is only looking for big-dollar sales. He will push your work aside to prioritize someone spending more money. He is extremely arrogant and only wants to "work" at the most, six hours a day and then wonders why, as the only salesperson, they don't have a lot of work. SeeClear did an excellent job for us. They trimmed several arborvitaes, removed a number of bushes & roots and removed tree branches which overhung our shed & yard. Be sure everything you expect and want done is spelled out in the contract. If it is not, then don't expect Paul to honor it. When they make mistakes, they expect you to work with them, but they do not work with you. I mean every detailed must be in writing. The work they do correctly is fine. My first communication was on April 25th of 2025 with Ryan phone and text with pictures sent. On April 29th spoke with Ryan and was told that Paul would be at my house on April 30th between 10:00 and 12:00 p.m. that I received a call at 11:00 a.m. to inform me that the appointment had to be moved to 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (need less to say, not happy to waste my time). So I agreed and waited, at 2:09 p.m. I finally received a call from Paul stating that he was on his way I was a little irritated and was told by Paul that he could respectfully go to his next job. I told Paul please go to your next job and do not come to my house. He still came to my house and was spraying cologne all over him walking up my driveway did not know whether to go out there or be scared, he was stumbling and almost fell over. I went out there cuz I did not want him to get hurt on my property. So I let him look at the trees I wanted to replace, while doing so Paul was leaning up against my car ( so he didn't fall over?) and being obnoxious. Then Paul told me that there is no warranty for the work that was potentially going to be done. So I kindly gave Paul back the business card he had given me in the beginning and asked him to please leave so I don't waste his time like they wasted my whole day. He continued to keep saying things as I was walking inside my house told him have a great day please leave. I do have video of all this happening. My homeowners insurance company didn't like the fact that this gigantic tree was hanging over my roof and threatened to drop me if I didn't remove it. I gave See Clear a call and within a few minutes they had me scheduled for an estimate. The next day, Paul arrived and was able to give me a no pressure estimate right on the spot. I got a few other quotes and eventually decided the combination of price and professionalism I was getting with See Clear made them the best value by a significant margin. They had the experience and people/equipment that they needed to make me feel like they could get the job done safely and the insurance to make sure I was covered in the event they couldn't - all for a very reasonable price. Some of the other quotes wanted me to rent equipment for them or didn't have insurance - no surprise, they were the cheapest. Others (*cough* haddon tree company *cough*) had everything needed but were charging a large multiple more - See Clear was the only quote that was both professional and not trying to gouge my eyes out. I appreciate that in a service provider. Finding the right service provider (plumber, electrician, tree service, etc) is hard work, and frankly annoying plus if you choose wrong you get burnt. Thankfully, these guys did exactly what I expect from every service professional and rarely receive - they gave me a reasonable quote and delivered without any funny business. In other words, they did exactly what they said they would do - not sure why that's so hard to find but it is! Last Friday the owner of see clear tree and property services Paul came to my door knocked on it and asked me if he could use my property to cut my neighbors trees I knew nothing about it I was in the middle of breakfast he asked me to come outside I told him no I really did not want this because it leaves marks in the ground my lawn it's just perfect now and nobody told me and nobody asked me prior to have them work on my property but after he spoke to me and assured me assured me over and over there being no damage to my property I reluctantly agreed with him he then proceeded tto bring three trucks onto my lawn in the back of my house that left deep scars the grass everywhere is ruined the ground is uneven my wife is in a wheelchair she cannot navigate it H e promised he would come out the next week if not Tuesday Wednesday And asked me to make a decision again on the spot if they wanted to have trees repaired and the trees removed at a special price I was so insulted I told him I want to see how he fixes his problem before I would give him any work needless to say he does not get the job I called them up I left him an email telling him my last day off from vacation is Monday 930 he was a supposed to be there he didn't show until 1 o'clock two men came did a good job for one hour and leveled out the property but left seed everywhere my lawn destroyed and I mean destroyed and now I have to water over 100' x 70' the amount of ground that they destroyed I would not recommend this company they do not know what they're doing they lie they lie right to your face I do not recommend this company and I will tell everyone the story because they ruined my lawn John D'Antonio read more

be careful with his so called estimate which he identifies as 'contract' as he talking to you telling you what he's going to do, he'll have his little pen and paper but not include what's actually going on trying to scam/trick you with his fake contract and fake expired 7 years ago license. reported him to consumer and bbb and has yet failed to respond. i lived in an apartment - very small area and he only used 10 bags of mulch at $2/bag and expects me to pay 2200. he wanted me to meet him somewhere before he started the job - which was to consist of laying sod in a small patch of dead crass and laying stone and triming a tree - which he didn't do because he didn't put in contract. he sent me a wrong contract where a mansion like home who required trimming of trees and hedges 'white glove service' which he included in his fake contract and it was only 600.00 go figure this guy is a snake. be careful and don't let him trick you into collecting your money - it's illegal and i will see him soon enough in court so please contact me for assistance. anyone needing advocate assistance, please contact me at mstarr1967@gmail.com - it's time for this guy to face the consequences and pay back all those/us that he/lauren scammed - bankruptcy wasn't enough for them. read more

These people target elderly. They knock on doors without local permits and then overcharge older homeowners. They are not even a registered business with the State. Took $2000 from my mother and never did any work for it. After she passed away I called these fools and told them we are not doing the work...and they demanded another $3500 and threatened to sue. NOW, I see that they do this all the time. If you encountered these people and had a bad experience then please reach out to me. Worst company I have dealt with to date. Called for an estimate and Paul came out. Seemed like a nice guy. Gave me a contract for what I believed to be a few thousand worth of work. Was expensive, but I was told I would receive work on my property equal to the amount paid. Few guys came out now MONTHS later, didn't do ANY of the agreed upon work and messed up half my property. Called Paul and office girl to complain just to find out that they were never coming back to finish the tree. Tried contacting them multiple times and each time is an excuse as to why they can't come back. An absolute waste of money and time. I now have to pay someone else to finish the job. read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. These clowns cut a tree down at my neighbors across the street and stupidly pulled the big truck with the chipper attached directly into neighbors driveway and when they had trouble getting out decided to just go up curb and onto my lawn causing damage. Instead of knocking on my door to apologize and explain what happened they moved the stump grinder onto my property to try and hide the damage while they attempted to repair it which they obviously couldn't. When I went outside the guy motioned for me to wait which I did for several mins instead of coming over immediately and rather than apologizing he stated they had a maneuvering error causing the back tire to go up curb and onto my lawn a little. When I said that's more than a little he said well we hv a difference of opinion. When I asked why the stump grinder was on my property he said that's public property and he can put whatever he wants there. He said he can throw some seed down which I explicitly said don't do and he then offered me $100 to be done with it which I declined. I Went inside to call police and he proceeded to throw seed down and ignored me when I went out there telling him to stop and then looked up aggressively at me motioning with his arms saying "there I fixed it." Told him to deal with police and he said I can either take the 100 now or not get anything later. He tried to BS the amount of damage with police who told him you can clearly see the damage. I called their office but no manager available and to this day no one has followed up to apologize or ask how to make this right. I look forward to seeing the midget tough guy and owner of company in court. Stay clear from these unprofessionals who clearly don't know how to even operate their machinery. read more

Very bad experience with this company. They charged us a significant amount of money for yard work. Expected the amount of work to reflect what we paid, however amounted to only a SINGLE visit. When asked to come back out and finish what was written in the contract, quoted us an additional ridiculous sum. Promised us the world and delivered nothing. Called in for a tree pruning quote for tow medium size trees. The only time they could come over was on a Saturday. They showed up an hour and fifteen minutes late with a two-hour window. Never called me to let me know they were running late. They had the wrong phone number. I gave the receptionist my phone number twice. Very unprofessional to say the least. OK pluses first-I have had trees trimmed and stumps removed in the past and was pleasantly surprised that these guys would price match one of my other estimates. The owner and workers were friendly and they came within the 3 week window they told me about. NEGATIVES-Be sure to get a specific translation of the wording of the contract b/c I had asked for a shrub to be removed...which is what it said in the estimate/contract and yet it was only cut down and the stump left in the ground. When I questioned this, I was told they could not remove it and that that wasn't what I paid for.... I could cut the shrub down the to ground myself! It is already growing back. To me, remove means remove...not cut down to the stump. I was also told I would get a copy of the insurance ahead of time. I did not and had to email and text back and forth the day of the service to get a copy before they came. I am shocked by how many people do not ask for this information especially when men are climbing trees in their yards!!! Better safe than sorry! Lastly, I did not realize this until after the work was done, but the workers left debris on my neighbors sidewalks and lawn where they were working. I had only inspected our property and not theirs. Overall, not horrible, but there are better places out there. Shop around and even when it is in writing...this may not be what you actually get. read more
