I was referred to this company after a felony vandalism incident in the Trader Joe's parking lot in Studio City. My first call was pleasant enough, but there was no follow-up. After waiting four days, I called again. I was told someone would call me back, and when they did, I was given information that directly contradicted what North Hollywood police had told me--that a police report would be sufficient. Instead, I was told I needed a separate police request. When I tried to explain the discrepancy and clarify my options, the representative cut me off and said, "Let me tell you where you have chosen not to listen," which immediately set the tone. He then claimed the cameras wouldn't be helpful due to their height and low resolution--again, the opposite of what Trader Joe's staff had told me, based on multiple recent incidents where license plates were successfully identified. As I continued asking reasonable questions, the conversation became increasingly hostile. I stated I would call back if needed, and he responded by saying I was not allowed to call again and that he would file harassment charges against me if I did, claiming it was because I had called "so many times." That is simply not true--my call log reflects that I called once, waited four days, and then called a second time. The lack of consistency, professionalism, and basic courtesy here is unacceptable. This was a straightforward request following a serious incident, and it was handled poorly from start to finish. I will say the property manager I spoke with separately was professional and helpful, but my experience with this security team was the opposite. read more

The company guard is approaching vehicles in a gym parking lot prior to the location closing or very close and forcing them to exit the parking lot. There ought to be some semblence of a grace period. To pressure people to leave mere minutes from the gym closing is simply bizarre. To say that there is an issue with the theft there makes no sense, because that can be monitored by a guard simply staying at the location. Furthermore, if the guard leaves the location and a burglery happens -there is no logistical reason that the guard getting people to leave the location after the gym closes will prevent anyone from coming back into the lot. The guard, if concerned should patrol during the gym hours and after the gym closes. But to try to force people to leave immediately just so they can check it off their list is not productive. Furthermore, after reading the reviews and getting a phone call from someone identifying themselves as Steve but who reverse look up is called Serge, was so ludicrous. Serge/Steve called me and basically wanted to angrily lecture me for putting in a complaint online. Would not give me the info for the property management company and told me that they have to forward my email to the gym. Harassing the customers at the gym to save you time on patrol is not good business practice. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! This is by far the worst company i have ever encountered. I work in the service industry and have never ever been spoken to as rudely as I was by this company. They yelled at me, called me a liar, and hung up on me, after I caught them in a lie. They put a note on my car saying I would be towed at 1am, but then towed me hours earlier. When confronted, I was met with screaming insults, even after they admitted "we put an erroneous note". STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! read more

I had an amazing experience with Securitech!  A couple of weeks ago, my car was parked in a parking lot, and someone had hit it.  Raymond, the security guard of the plaza, witnessed the incident and told the offender that she needed to leave a note.  Raymond later went back to the scene and noticed that the offender's car was gone as well as the note she had left on my dashboard.  Raymond then waited until I was back at my car and explained to me everything that happened and told me that even though the original note on my dashboard was gone, he had taken down her license plate number and car model in his own notepad and gave the information to me so that I could contact the police.  Without Raymond's extra initiative, I would have had to pay for all the damages myself.   I don't think I've ever encountered security personnel with such great quality service.   Thank you Securitech for being such a great company and hiring such great employees! read more

I pointed out a couple errors in a patrol report, and Serge basically told me too bad, deal with it. Then called me unreasonable for complaining and canceled his service immediately.
