I had the opportunity to use them for some issues at my home. Before I called Brisk, I had called another local company and had the worst possible experience a consumer can have. Lesson learned. BS diagnostics, poor service, and simply tried to rip off a consumer. Tech recommendations were a full system replacement with not clear explanation of why it needed to be replaced. I sent an inquiry to Brisk and shortly received a reply. Appointment booked. Had the pleasure of meeting Kyle who owns the company. Expressed my concerns and issues. Kyle listened and addressed all of them. Did the diagnostics and explained what was going on and what needed to be corrected. He explained what he was doing and what the numbers meant on his gauges. I could not have asked for a better experience with Kyle and his company. Kyle's knowledge in his field is top notch. The world needs more people like him! In the end, Kyle replaced a part. Checked to make sure the system was function within operational parameters. All was good. Nice cool air, quiet AC unit, and a happy customer. He quickly diagnosed the problem, ran back to their shop for a part and stayed until 9:30, when the issue was fixed. Additionally, the pricing was incredibly fair. Simon was thorough, and explained there was really nothing wrong with our furnace. He tested it, and it worked fine. He didnt charge me anything at all. We asked if he could come out to clean our AC. And you know what he said y'all? He said once every Summer just get your hose, put it on jet, and spray the vents out. That's it. We were ready to pay him to come out and clean our AC unit and Simon, said we didn't need to. I mean, who does that nowadays?! Full disclosure: I had another furnace company come out and check my furnace. This company not only told me my motor was broken (BS! ), and also would cost $950 to fix. They also greatly emphasized replacing the whole system for $12k. I have no doubt this company would also charge a grip to come out and clean our AC unit. So, my brothers and sisters, please DO NOT call ANY, I repeat ANY other furnace repair but Marasigan. It is a small local, family-owned business that unmistakenly takes great pride, holds the utmost integrity in their work, and most importantly, is completely honest with their customers. They were late and then told me they couldn't get there until Monday, 5 days away. Insisting this needs taken care and can't wait. They finally showed up. First they told me I needed to expand my ductwork, that the unit was too much for the current set up. I said, you mean the unit you guys sold us? That was going to be around $17 grand. After getting past that nonsense he tells me it was going to cost $3800, minimum. Told monarch I was getting a second opinion, that's way too much money for a new unit. Called Lara's, they came the next morning and for $890 I had my ac back. Most of that was Freon. Both workers were very polite and had everything fixed and tidy in about an hour. After I realized they were legit I decided to give them a chance. I already had a heater in this house but decided to take advantage of their pricing to add AC! Not only was he super nice and we built a good relationship but the work they did is amazing! They really went above and beyond too because they relocated my intake vent thing. The location my suction vent thing was at originally was an eyesore, so they went into the crawl space and relocated for a very good price .
