I purchased a fairly sophisticated alarm system from Mitchell over two years ago. I initially…read morereached out to him because I wanted more than the "2 doors and 1 motion detector" intro package offered by the national chains. Mitchell came to my home and we spent hours designing a system including not only all of the typical stuff such as door and window sensors and motion detectors, but also glass break monitors and water alarms for the laundry room and sump pump areas. Mitchell did not "sell" any of this stuff to me. I asked for it and we designed an excellent system together. The reason that I am writing the review today is because this is the first time that I have spoken to Mitchell in over two years. I received an alert on my control pad that a battery was low and I didn't know which device needed the new battery. I called Mitchell on his cell phone. He picked up on the second ring. I had the battery in a drawer and he identified the device and walked me through the battery change over the phone. This tells you a couple of things: 1. The equipment that Mitchell sold to me over 2 years ago works without issue. I literally have had not spoken to him in over 2 years because I have NEVER had a problem. My big problem today was that I needed a new battery. I'm OK with that. 2. Mitchell answers his phone. He is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Mitchell is a good guy. He knows what he is doing and he sells good stuff. I recommend him without hesitation.

He suggested we troubleshoot over the phone before sending a technician to my house. Since the equipment is old, he had to send a technician after all. While I was waiting for the technician to arrive, I fiddled with the settings and ended up resolving the issue on my own. What really stood out to me was the honesty--both Mitchell and the technician could have easily said I needed new equipment or upgrade or unnecessary work, but instead they were supportive and completely upfront. Very fair, trustworthy, and refreshing to deal with a company that operates with integrity. Highly recommend for your security needs!

I've lived in my apartment for several years with the odd realization that it had only one lock and…read moreno deadbolt (unlike every other apartment in the building). Due to the need for a sitter to have access to my apartment for an aging pet, I realized it was time to get a second lock on my metal door. I looked up installation on YouTube and realized that the job (specifically drilling a 2" hole) was too big for me. I found the locksmith through an online search for local businesses and made an online inquiry about the job. I received a call the next day responding to the inquiry, got a quote and said I needed a day or so to think about it. (I was dragging my feet with a vacation coming up in less than a week). About 2 days later I got a call from a technician who was in the neighborhood and asked if I still wanted the service. I said sure and he arrived in under 15 minutes. He was quick and skilled and bored the 2" hole in the door, installed the deadbolt, swept up all the debris and was done in less than 15 minutes flat. The lock works perfectly and I was able to pay by credit card.
