I had this company come out and build me a mental gate for my driveway I absolutely love my Gate,…read morebut there was many hiccups in the making of it first of all the privacy metal that was placed behind my gate was put up with markings all over it look like the plastic that it was wrapped in had stuck to the metal and they managed to put it up anyway when I came back and spoke with the owner he said it came like that you could see where he was trying to wipe it clean all the panels were like that I was a little disappointed to think that he would even continue to put them up, thinking that I would be OK with that although I am aware it's not his fault, but as he came back and stated that the company was assuming I had something to do with that was absolutely ridiculous him and I knowing that he picked up the product as is that took away from time on the project took way longer than I expected for it to finish. Also, there was a little bit of hiccups. The top of the caps on the post were not screwed in there was denting in certain places scratching on certain areas to say the least I love my Gate. He made all the provisions too, make it right by installing a little side Fence at no extra charge. When the job was finished, I was happy with the progress and the aesthetics of it and we talked about finishing my project this year with the same design, he did the Gate. He said he would be interested to just notify him the conversation went smoothly and amicably. I didn't feel that there was any hard feelings being that I've done nothing wrong so i was looking forward to start this new project. I messaged him through the Yelp app. He said that he was in the area and normally does not do estimates on Sunday, but that he would come by at 5pm . I don't think he was aware that it was me until I gave him the address. He never called nor did he show up ! not sure how I emotionally feel about that but professionally he could have notified me and said he would not come or he was not interested in my project, I believe I was owed that much respect, but I do believe everything is for a reason because to work with somebody on such a big project you really would need to be in one accord so that is why I put this under "maybe"

Disappointed in service and communication. Requested to get cabinets assembled. The workers were to…read morearrive between 3 and 5pm and arrived after 6. . Maria did not let me know any updates of when service workers were coming, whether they were late or not. But she can read my messages that were sent to ask for their whereabouts. The workers stayed at my house until 11pm. Workers spoke Spanish with each other at the front door entrance when they met my husband (and mind you, my husband also speaks Spanish). One of the workers said to the other workers that they didn't want to do cabinets. My husband heard them and told them he speaks Spanish. Very awkward. They also made comments about the cabinets we bought, such as , "did you get them from Amazon?". Why does that matter? Them staying late and not feeling motivated to do our cabinets made me feel uncomfortable. On top of that, one of the drawers was messed up. They didn't pay attention to details and misplaced part of the frame of the cabinet. A magnet for a cabinet door was in the way of the drawer section, so drawer wasn't functional and won't close. We didn't notice this until after the workers left. I spoke with Maria via Yelp the day after and she wasn't willing to send a person out to fix it. She instead wanted to send me a magnet to make up for it. Did the cabinets get done? Yes. Did we like the service and communication, and finished product of the work done? No Lastly, Maria wanted to give us a late fee for the service. My husband called her because we felt we weren't given quality service on their end and wanted to see if a tech could be sent out. On top of that, we never received any invoice (her workers said it would be provided next day). Maria didn't disclose where this invoice was, but she did let us know we would get a late fee if the service wasn't covered. She mentioned this after my husband left a voice mail and text message exchange stating we were not satisfied with the service. See pictures attached. I'm not quite sure how this business can get 5 star reviews , and be inconsistent with their customer service. In the end of the text message exchange, Maria then stated that she would provide the service for free but seemed irritated in doing so. So I'm waiting for an invoice that states just that. We couldn't be more happy with our solar system installed by Velocity Solar. From the start, their…read moreservice was top notch. They built out a system for us that made sense for our usage, and also specialized in a very specific panel type I was looking for, which is a hybrid Solar PV + Solar thermal (heat) for pool water called CoolPV. Velocity actually paid for our June PG&E bill while we waited for the system to be completed. They fielded any/all questions I had throughout the process with timeliness and total transparency. We're now enjoying a system that is producing an abundant net credit on the energy side (~38-45kW/day from a 6.7kWh rated system) so far through the summer months, producing with incredible efficiency; at the same time keeping our pool heated at an amazing walk-in 88-90 degrees (we were normally seeing 78-81 degree top water temps this time of year w/o heat). If you're on the fence about purchasing solar, I would highly recommend Velocity for an honest, transparent assessment on whether solar makes sense for you. With PG&E woes continuing into 2020 and beyond, we've traded our insane utility bill for a fixed monthly payment and a 30% tax credit (last year for the 30%!) that will have the system completely paid for in only a few years time.
