He came and provided us with a quote and was honest about our sprinkler issue and that he could not give us a complete estimate on it until he started to tear up the yard and see what was existing. Once he started the sprinkler work he kept us very involved in what it was going to take in order to make the old system work with the new. We knew what was taking place the whole time, there were no surprises. I threw a couple of add-ins along the way and Jose patiently accepted the challenge and even offered his opinion. When all was said and done he did not charge a whole lot extra for the additional work. He showed up on time each day, worked hard regardless of the triple digit temperatures and never complained about it. When everything was done he promised to come back every other day to check on the new grass and make sure that it was getting enough water. He has kept his word and has been back every other day so far. We loved his work so much that he just gave us a quote to overhaul our front yard and make it not the embarrassment of the block!! This guy comes out to bid on the job, all smiles and handshakes. He sends his proposal, we go back and forth on logistics stuff, he does the job, then BAM!!! Here comes the emails and phone calls. Apparently I told him that I would put the check in the mail Monday, but I probably said that I would "send it upstairs by Monday". We have a large company, that has administrative checkpoints and certain days that vender payments go out. But only 9 days after the job, I open up emails from him threatening collections, fees, penalties, etc. Apparently he has his wife send these nasty emails from his email account. You would think she would have her own email, being that he is the "VP/Project Manager" (so sophisticated, Mr. VP). So I call him, not because he threatened me, but because I seek out guys like this, just to see what makes them "tick". To my surprise, he was very negative, threatening, patronizing, and a real smart *ss. I would never allow a guy like this into my home or business.

We went with the color Moon Stone and a dark brown binding, and it has completely transformed our staircase. Stair runners can be incredibly tricky but the installers did a fantastic job. The alignment going up the stairs is perfectly straight, the folds are crisp and tight with no sagging, and the pattern matches flawlessly from step to step. They also did a great job executing a waterfall style on our landing to smoothly transition the layout to the upper steps. Highly recommend their team for any custom runner or stair installation!
