I actually found him after speaking with a different boudoir photography company whose ad I had seen on Instagram; I decided to do some research before committing to anyone, and found Cheshire on Yelp, checked out his website, and put in an inquiry. He called me very quickly and the conversation was so different from the other places I spoke with! Instead of just laying out "here's how it works, here's what you get for this price," etc., he asked a lot about what I was looking for, what I hoped to get out of it, my motivations or inspirations, etc. That personal touch carried throughout the experience. He consistently made an effort to understand what I was looking for--from the planning process to the photo shoot to going through the photos afterward--to make sure that I got exactly what I was hoping for. The photos themselves are absolutely awesome. It's incredible the different looks and feels he creates in a relatively small studio. More importantly, he just has an incredible eye for what is going to look good and how to create looks, moods, etc. I felt super comfortable the whole time, and I think that shows in the final product. Everyone who has seen my pictures has been blown away. He's way more than just a photographer; he's a true artist. Never in a million years had I ever imagined having a giant naked photo of myself on my wall, and yet here we are...and everyone who's seen it has been amazed. Can't recommend him highly enough!

It was like the staffer took my critique personally; either that, or the prickly demeanor is her default, idk. When I discovered an issue with one of my products, I called to clarify their policies. The person on the phone was immediately defensive, even though I had made no accusations nor demanded a refund. Good Vibes has a culture problem; I experience this "vibe" at a lot of their stores. I gave both of these people the benefit of the doubt, and tried to redirect the interaction to a more positive and relaxed tone. Neither of them reciprocated. Customer service can really suck, but it's like these people would rather drown in 6in of water than simply stand up and be nice. I used to like some of their proprietary products, but since they are discontinued, I now feel free to shop elsewhere. The prices are just ridiculous, too.

It had been going on for a month and I didn't want to doubt the facts anymore. On a Friday after work, I pulled up to Bay Street in hopes of being measured and sure enough, my band size was smaller. Band size down, cup size up. I believe the woman who helped me was named Liz. She let me know about the promotions going on, which at the time was $10 off of a bra if you've tried it on and with the purchase of a bra, panties are $5. So I loaded up and got nearly thirty panties and 2 new bras + the free tote with $100 purchase. The selection of bras was as expected - I knew I would see something I like and have to order online, or worse, seeing the bra that you like in-store but it's the size you want to get back into. So I ordered that bra online. With all of these store closures I'm grateful to still have a VS near me. I can't buy everything online! It isn't feasible. All the staff was courteous and willing to help.

I researched different photographers and Andrea caught my eye for 2 reasons: her beautiful, timeless and elegant photos and her dialogue around doing a boudoir photo shoot. She starts with introspective questions about what you want to portray in your photos. She nurtures a healthy body image along the way and makes you feel your best from the inside out. That is truly her magic. The day itself was so special where I got to step out of my normal routine and into the routine of a super model. Andrea and her team had every detail worked out, so I could just relax and go with it. I visited Andrea again to review the photos to choose my favorites. There were too many and I ended up making the book bigger to solve that "problem." The end product is two books (boudoir + fine art) full of beautiful, professional photos.
