I was told the exact date I could come back, which was in 3 months. However, I didn't go back in 3 months because my husband & I haven't been well. I went back in 4 months & the person who checked me out was not very nice at all. In fact, she was downright rude. When we moved to this area back in June, everything we gave away: clothes, furniture - Everything! went to Provisions. Our mover, who is a very angry person who shouldn't be in the moving business- never gave us receipts for everything we gave away. I won't name the mover - someday they will have to come to terms with how they treat people. But, as far as I'm concerned I would never set foot in Provisions again.

And although you say you accept new and gently used items, sometimes a volunteer wants to cherry pick. Everything is always carefully packed and protected as necessary, and we're not going to unpack and repack boxes at someone's whim, and then find somewhere else for items not taken. After many years donating to a variety of nonprofit thrift shops, and sadly our favorite one shutting down, we're giving up on the Treasure Hound. We have not had similar problems with any other shop. It makes us sad because we prefer to support a group like yours that helps animals.

For example you can get an undershirt brand new from Walmart for 2 dollars, and sometimes they charge 5 dollars for an undershirt here. I've found some awesome antique items here for pennies. A few days ago I was looking through some items and I accidentally drop the cane and it hit a shelf and knocked some stuff down and broke a bottle. She was understanding She cleaned it up We talked and joked. I always have a good experience when I go there. If I was able to I would give her 10 stars.
