Excellent spirits and the tour by carus was informative and hysterical. Left with a bottle and many belly laughs!

Listen this is a diamond in the rough. Coffee, bourbon, and great folks. I had a spiked white chocolate mocha and it was amazing. The staff was probably some of the nicest, down to earth people I've met. Perk? The bourbon, rum, and moonshine are all absolutely delicious. It's got an awesome psychic, third eye vibe and we loved it. I'd love to go again around Halloween.

My wife and I highly recommend a stop at Second Sight Spirits on the B-Line in Northern KY! Their bourbon is young but tasty for 2-ish, aged in 15-gallon barrels. The spirits they distill, Rum, Absinthe, Bourbon, and American Single Malt are pretty good for a small operation and they work well in cocktails. Audrey, behind the bar, is a delight serving up tasty drinks. I left with a bottle of their Red Absinthe and their Smoked Cherry Rum. The draw is the place itself and their energetic co-Founder, Carus. It's like a show! So much fun. The decor brings to mind a carnival boardwalk with magic and fortune telling. I don't believe they serve food, but they have a mystery snack machine coming soon. We left having enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and the liquids we consumed.

We came for a coffee to go, but nonetheless LOVED the vibes of this place! Open and inviting with decor that matches the theme. They have a great coffee menu & you can add booze (should you choose)! They also have a great selection of cocktails & their house made product including bourbon & rums! We've purchased the smoked cherry rum from them in the past & it's delicious! Highly recommend!

This spot is in a super cute location on a little street. I found it as I was walking around. We walked in and were greeted right away by one of the owners. He was so helpful and kind. He even invited us to join the tour free of charge since we are from far away! I love the spiritual world and the decor was so fun! They are working on renovating some things so not everything was working, but I'm sure when they are ready to go it will be awesome! The tour was more of a presentation about the history of the distillery than a tour, but it was interactive and fun. The energy of the presenter was top notch. We also got to taste a few things. I'm not really into whiskey, but it was a fun experience to try it!

Cozy little bar is a hidden gem on Fairfield Ave, Bellevue KY. Street parking is easy to find. I love the bar seating and enjoy to see all bartenders mixing their drinks. Special old fashion is recommended

Still made from scrap metal and bartered parts! So cool.

This place is amazing! I highly recommend it above all other distilleries. I will be back and I rarely go back to a distillery.

We were coming through town and stopped to see the distillery. Very friendly service. Cool vibe.

This feels more like a local neighborhood bar than a distillery. It is wonderful! The drinks we had were on their seasonal menu. They were beyond delicious, and a surprising amount of ingredients to create some very unique flavors. They incorporation of their spirits allowed us to see the various takes you can enjoy them in. I really enjoyed their take on a whiskey sour. The bartender was super nice! We enjoyed her, plus she is a great conversationalist. I think the best part was our conversations. She made us feel like we were regulars. It is always a joy feeling like a local, and not a tourist. I can't express this enough. It feels good! Parking is on the street. Come in and enjoy!

What a gem in a quaint town! The gents that run the show makes it feel very comfortable, like you're a part of the family. I went for the tour and bought couple bottles of moonshine, I'd love to go back and try some more. Thanks for the heartwarming service.

We stopped by this place cause we had some free time and thought to check this place out First of all the owners were very hands on and very nice, one of the owners we're actually the person giving us the tour. He was very funny and you can tell the passion from his voice! I learned a lot from their history and love the theme of their place. I bought a cocktail which you can drink while on the tour, small place but big ambition! Hope they make it big. We love the hazelnut liqueur during the tasting so we bought that, we plan to stop by again to get more when we're in Cincinnati again!

This place is surely a hidden gem on the craft bourbon trail. The owner provided us with an excellent tour and history. He has a lot of interesting stories and made it fun for all. The cocktails were balanced and delicious. Will definitely be back and be recommended this place to all my friends

I don't love the cocktail bars with aloof service that seem to think ignoring you is excellent customer service. The happy hour slaps - the prices are actually really good and it goes until 7pm. My bestie is obsessed with their low price on La Marca. I have tried several of their daiquiris and cocktails and haven't found a loser yet. They don't have food but that just means they are pet-friendly. There is plenty of food in the area (for pete's sake, OTR Kroger is across the street). I wouldn't mind some snack availability but it's fine. I love the Key West/Hemingway-inspired decor. You'll be comfortable no matter how dressed up or dressed down you are. I love when the weather allows for the big windows to be open. The patio is great people watching. There is also several parking options nearby. The meters on Court St, a pay lot on the next block, or if you spend at least $15 at Kroger, you can get three hours of free parking. And that's the perfect amount to spend on snacks! Check out Pilar if you're looking for a laid-back vibe and decor but top-shelf service and cocktail options. Don't forget your dog!

I came out in December for their Miracle pop-up in 2025…read more As someone who has gone to a ton of holiday cocktail bars and pop-ups over the last 10 years, Overlook Lodge's is probably the best I've ever been to. Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)
