We got there pretty early so the groomers were still on their lunch breaks. So I let my buddy walk around Petco several times until it was time to go. My groomers name was Cassey. She approached my dog in a very calm and friendly way, because she could tell my dog was very nervous because he already knows what it means when he sees the noose like leash in their hand.. it means bath and hair cut. I mentioned to her that we were from Hawaii and that I didn't bring any paperwork and she told me not a problem, it's all in the system since you've used Petco for a lot of things back in my home state. Which is true. An affordable and friendly vet? Sign me up! Anyways. She asked me how I liked my dogs fur trimmed and I told her I used to just say puppy cut and feathering but she mentioned she isn't 100% sure but she'll do her best. Since I gave her very limited preferences. Less than 3 hours go by and I get a voicemail saying my dog is ready and I drive back about 15 min total. She brings him out even before I paid (some people make me pay before my dog can come out of their crate. I laughed at his ears. My dog always looks like Edna mode after a groom. I get my dog groomed every 2-3 months. I was never informed on the app or otherwise that my earned groom would expire in 30 days!! You don't save any money with the Vital Rewards plan. It's simply a way to make the corporation more money, especially if you don't use them before they, too, expire. *Update* So, great, they respond to my review. Unfortunately, like so many US corporations these days, they have farmed out their customer support to a country where English is a second or third language. I called the number and had a very hard time understanding the nice person who took my call. Her English was passable, but all the background noise made it a chore to communicate with her. She informed me I had a coupon available, but only on the app, which I have uninstalled. Funny, no coupon was visible today when I checked my rewards in the app before picking up my dog. I asked if they could email a coupon, but she said it was app only. After a long time on hold she did say they would email me a gift card code within 24 hours. We'll see.....

I've gone here twice now…read more Both times the workers are on a mission doing something and don't notice me until they see me with my little pup in my arm and my small chihuahua-shihtzu. I don't get offended by that at all, it would be hypocritical of me ! I enjoy the treats they have for dogs and the workers always asking if they can say hi to my dog! The free popcorn. Is a perk because I don't really eat pop corn. The last time I went in the woman at the counter asked to take pics of my pups for instagram and I happily obliged. They gained a new insta follower and I went home with a good amount of treats for the dogs and popcorn. I'm glad this one is a 5 min drive from my place.

PupScrub is clean and there is a clear and logical arrangement of interior space for folks who want to scrub their pets. Once you walk inside, PupScrub staff are at the ready with a kind and sincere "welcome". Andrea (owner) presented me with a clear summary of PupScrub grooming services. The list of PupScrub dog grooming services is clear, concise and complete. PupScrub grooming costs are reasonable. The appointment was arranged, a partial deposit was provided and we'd got a reminder text with all the appointment information. On the day of the appointment, the groomer, Casper, greeted Odo and I warmly. Odo happily took to Casper right away and I felt very comfortable about leaving a Odo in Casper's care. Casper offered a brief summary of the grooming services and asked about our desired style of cut for Odo. Casper's grooming of Odo was excellent. Odo is happy and proud to sport his new blue bandana! Thank you Casper and Andrea for your excellent customer service and care of our pup Odo. We will be back again!

We were looking for a place closer to home to take our dog for grooming, as our previous groomer…read morewas a half hour drive away and essentially took two hours out of our day to drop off and pick up. We saw Pup Scrub on our way to the Gresham Farmers Market and looked them up. The scheduling process is quick and easy- you can book online and communicate with a real person via text message. You do have to pay a deposit up front to reserve your spot, but that is taken off your total after your appointment. The hours are very flexible and accommodating, and they even have a pick up/drop off service if you are without transportation or don't have time to make the trip. As far as the grooming, the groomer always checks in with you on what you want, but they also keep track of what was done previously. We keep our dog's cut longer in the winter, and the groomer did a great job judging the length I was going for without exact measurements. The groomer will also give you an estimate of how long it will take (usually no more than 2-3 hrs) and text you with any updates. You can also ask the groomer to give your pup a purchased treat after the cut! Prices are consistent with the cost of everything going up.

This is my second year buying a cake from NWCC and their cake makes my puppy's birthday just so…read moremuch better! The buying/customization experience is smooth and it's so pleasant working with Paul. The first year, because I couldn't make it to meet him, he came all the way downtown and had to deal with downtown parking to deliver the cake. I cannot recommend NWCC enough!
