This store carries a nice selection of healthy food for your pets but the store itself is dirty. The entry way needs to be swept up and maintained. One of the employees is Not customer friendly, I don't understand why she is there. The store has a groomer who is very nice and does a good job. The owner really needs to get their act together and clean the place. read more

So glad we found this pet store/ grooming shop. We have 3 dogs, small-f 3yrs, medium-m 9yrs and large- f 2yrs. The little one can be sweet, or a total crazy cujo. Our large OES was a pandemic dog, who has separation anxiety, so she can't be left alone with a groomer. Thank God for our boy, who is one cool dude! I now have to groom the sheep dog myself, which is not easy. Washing her in the bathtub is difficult, and my old knees can't take it. The blow dry takes too long. So, we brought our motley crew to Nature's Pet. Jonathan trimmed and filed all their nails and we were able to bath our sheepdog easily in their tub. The dryer is much quieter and faster than at home. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The dog wash station is very clean and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, towels and tools. We will definitely return and are happy to support a locally owned small business. read more

Brought my dog here to get groomed. First, the cut was uneven. Second, my dog had an allergic reaction to their shampoo. Third, my dog got FLEAS from this groomer. When we went back to the groomer to give them an opportunity to make it right after the pain they caused my dog, they wouldn't even apologize. They said him getting fleas was not their problem. Went in for a nail trim to help recede my dogs quick, definitely going again :) !! Kane ( my dog ) normally goes to his vet that's inside the petsmart off of Eastman but gets super nervous and doesn't like the staff that much, normally it's a big hassle because of how nervous and anxious he gets there. We got there early and the groomer (unsure of his name) wasn't busy and got right to it, Kane didn't let out any type of nervous growls or anything. It was done and over with before he even realized he was getting his nails trimmed. From now on this is my go to place for getting his nails trimmed :)) read more

Such a sweet store, so needed in the area! Jonathan has been grooming here for 3+ years, he is the "Animal Whisperer" he does such a fabulous job on each and every Pet he works on. He has a special way about him, the fur kids all relax and trust him immediately. I had the great pleasure of working with him for a couple of months when I was still able to groom, he's so much fun to work with! Love the self-service baths. The staff is very helpful. I loved that I could bathe my dog by myself while still getting her nails done professionally (I enjoy bathing her!). She normally hates getting her nails done, by me or by groomers. She didn't care at ALL when the gentleman started doing her nails! I could tell she was a bit scared, but he was very gentle and calming. She trusted him, which really surprised me. I will definitely be going back. Dogs are a good judge of character, and my girl loved the groomer and the store! Side note: there is always a cat in the store. Very sweet and doesn't move often, but one of my dogs doesn't like cats so I'd never take her with me. Just a heads up if you hadn't already noticed from the pictures :) read more

Was not satisfied with the people responsible for grooming. Made an appointment for my 17 week old puppy and called back a week later to confirm. They couldnt find my appointment and didnt put me on hold while they chatted. I could hear them talking about not wanting to groom my dog (golden doodle). They did this for several minutes. I hung up. When they called back they said they found my appointment under a different name and wanted to let me know. We chatted about the confusion and I didnt feel confident my dog would be treated to my standards. I canceled my appointment. Now I have to wait 3 more weeks somewhere else. read more

A couple of weeks ago my cat, Nemo, started getting some matting on her back legs that hid from me because of her floofy fur (technical term, haha)! Every time I tried to brush or cut them, she gave me the sassiest face and hid under the bed. More mats started forming coincidentally... I felt terrible and even more stressed out. After price hunting different places (one quote was $140 and another place actually told me that it wasn't worth it for them... huh?) I finally made an appointment at Nature's Pet to take care of my furry friend. Let me tell you, Jonathan, the groomer is an angel! He was super understanding, kind, and gentle with Nemo. He even gave me one of his personal combs to take home! Nemo is so much happier with her haircut and so am I! I said thank you about a million times before leaving, but I am so grateful that I couldn't wait to write this review. If your pet needs a haircut, go see Jonathan! I can't recommend him enough, he is such a sweet and talented soul. I so wish I had the extra money to shower him with! Though I plan to keep brushing her regularly (now with my new lucky comb!) and hope that her mats don't come back, I find comfort in knowing I can go to Nature's Pet in case of a matting emergency. What can I say I really like this lil locally owned pet store . Sure I could buy my dog food from Chewys but I won't because we need to keep these businesses going . The owner is nice , she hires great employees , products are the finest and at the fair prices . The best part of this place is the grooming though. Jonathan took amazing care of my cranky senior kitty. We recently adopted Hank and his claws were overgrown and he was sticking to every soft surface in the house. I brought him in and we were taken in immediately-Hank was in and out in minutes. He doesn't like his paws being handled so clearly Jonathan is a wizard of some sort. This is the 2nd time I have taken my 13 yr Lhasa Opso and she has been groomed very good both times even though she had some massive mats in her ears and chest. She isn't stressed or scared when I pick her up which is a change from my last groomer. I would recommend them for grooming, but plan ahead as they get busy so I would book at least 4-6 weeks in advance. Very worth the wait ....... thanks for the service. read more

This new pet store is awesome! The groomer Ally is great! You can really tell she is all about the dogs, she only had one dog in there at a time. My Siberian husky came out looking fantastic and super soft! She even washed my dogs collar. Also she was able to get me in very quickly, I called on a Friday afternoon and got in for Monday! I definitely recommend Ally to anybody looking for a dog loving groomer. The store has an cool vibe as well, while we were in the store looking at the toys, and treats, a very friendly cat was meowing for a little attention :) read more

We take all FOUR of our dogs in to see Jonathan he does THE MOST AMAZING JOB! I love that instead of leashing my dogs or forcing them into uncomfortable positions he works with them in a very caring and gentle manner. He always makes sure he knows specifically what I want before beginning any of the grooms and they always come out exactly how I asked! I have a smaller dog that hates everyone but Jonathan does such a good job tending to her that she gets excited anytime we show up for a groom. My dog looked great the first time and was finised in a timely manner. The second time when I got him home I noticed that his eyelashes had been cut off. Not only is this dangerous to do because the eye can be stabbed but now they are no longer there to keep his hair out of his eyes. We won't be going back. read more

I cannot actually comment on their talents for trimming and grooming as trying to get an apportionment was a nightmare. Initially told to call the groomer directly for appointment information - a bit of tag there, but that's life. Then the last time I left a message (after many a tries) I get a prompt text telling me to call the store for grooming appointment. What do I do? I call the store of course which curtly tells me I need to call the groomer as they do not have her schedule. Indeed they stated they didn't or wouldn't provide me with information around cost.
