    Cracker under table

In a last minute Expedia long shot we booked this place on the fly taking into consideration it had over 4 stars with whatever rating platform was attached to Expedia. Agree with RO f review. The place is cute and convenient as far as location and exterior landscape. However the room itself was more like a 2 star. Stains on the carpet, fridge barely worked, dirty bathroom vent, lights unplugged, food under the table , toilet was newer but seat was peeling and old, shower facet leaked excessive water and a worker walked in when my girlfriend was in the shower even though the do not disturb sign was on the door. The channels on the tv are limited and any movies we found to watch were not authorized. We decided that one or two of these things wouldn't be a huge deal but the accumulation of everything merited a complaint with management. We felt like half a refund on the $225 would be reasonable . We went and let front desk person Chris know about these things and he was very nice about it but said all he could do was discount the room to $189 and pointed outside to a bunch of containers and said all the rooms would be updated in a few months. I let him know that I still felt the place was over priced and misrepresented but decided not to argue the point of more of a refund any further. On a positive not the hot tub water was really nice and clean and the front desk lady at night and the guy Chris in the morning were really nice folks. Parking is close to the rooms and free which was nice. I gave it 3 stars on the generous side just because I am a business owner myself and know how powerful yelp is on a business and didn't want to hammer the establishment just make some reasonable valid points that folks should know about.

We booked a room at the Sebastopol Inn September 7, 2019. At 11pm the bathroom sink started making an awful sound and then proceeded to overflow onto the bathroom floor. We called the front desk and Seth came right up, apologized, and moved us to another room. Unfortunately our bathroom bag was on the floor and had gotten wet/stained. We do have a picture of the bag and you can clearly see the water stain. Seth told us the hotel was having on-going plumbing problems with that room. The following morning we checked out. Upon getting home we noticed our bag was water stained. We called the hotel and talked with Eva. She then became the go between us and the hotel manager, Tina. Unfortunately Tina has only responded to one call, which she said she would reimburse us for a new bag as long as we mailed her the receipt, which we did, 3 times by email and certified mail. She is now refusing to reimburse us or accept our telephone calls. We would like to be reimbursed for the the new bag, which cost us $63.17. We are following up with the BBB to lodge a formal complaint in detail with pictures/documents. Their customer service is awful, we won't be back or recommend this inn to any of our friends. Stayed in room 106, room was spacious, BUT ourvtv in the bedroom did not change channels, the old stove heater did not work in the living room and last a huge bug was in our bathroom which most likely came in through the shower pipes. Yuck!!! All this was noted to the front desk person Eli who said he would talk to manger Tina. Through several emails we explained how unhappy we were with this stay and we paid a huge price. She gave us $22.80 of our $300. Plus bill. I have stayed at many places and usually the hotel industry will give you a better refund than this or even bring you back to make up for all the mishaps. Think twice before staying here. Sebastopol Inn definitely does not care about its guests. Terrible hospitality!!

We didn't want to spend a lot on the lodging. The room was spacious. It is a train themed hotel. The bed mattress was not that comfortable. No breakfast. You can hear your neighborhoods walking outside/talking outside. However you cannot hear the traffic. I won't be back at this hotel.

This is one of the best Inns I have stopped out for the value. $123 total for a night. The rooms were clean and had cute vintage decor inside. They even had keurig coffee makers! It was nice and quiet even on New Years Eve. Only complaint was the pending charge for 2 nights instead of one, which should drop off. And we had to wait in the lobby to be helped by office staff. Otherwise, no issues.

If you are looking for a one of a kind trip to wine country..then this is where you need to…read morestart... Pearlessence Bed & Breakfast is more than anything you'd expect from your regular run of the mill inns. It is absolutely divine...the perfect place to experience wine country and relaxation.... Finding the place after the sun had set proved to be a bit tricky..it is out there people..way out there...where streetlights don't go. We were a little nervous about being so far out in the country at first...but as soon as we pulled up the long drive to the wide open space in back, we were instantly relieved by the beauty and the peacefulness of it all. We parked...right next to a vineyard. The air was crisp and clean and fresh, and I could not take my eyes off of the blanket of stars above. It had been too long since I had seen a sky like that... Linda and Greg met us outside with big, warm, welcoming smiles. They showed us around the room...all of the hidden treasures. OK...let me tell you about the room. It's pretty brand new. There is only one room with a king size bed and a pull out sofa. The bed is heated. That's right. It has a little dial on both sides to heat the bed. The beautiful slate floors...are heated. Not a typo. They are heated!! There is a beautiful gas fireplace controlled by a remote...a rainfall shower for two...I mean. I could go on and on. This place is where it's at you guys. seriously. Really romantic. Out the window...you can view a Field of grapevines in the morning while you pick up a basket filled with local apple juice, pastries, salmon, french press coffee..you name it...it's in there. For further amenities and pictures, please check out their website: http://www.pearlessenceinn.com/amenities.html Another great thing about staying here isn't just about the amenities...it's about the people. I cannot tell you how much we adored Greg and Linda. They are incredibly welcoming, full of great information concerning wine, the area, etc. And...they totally respect your privacy. You don't have to worry about constantly running in to them, or feeling uncomfortable around them...they know how long to stay..and they know when to leave. In fact, we enjoyed their company so much, we wished we would have spent more time with them. I really liked the location of the place. You could, in three days, see a lot of Napa, Sonoma, and my personal favorite Russian River/Dry Creek Valley. Honestly, for the money, the location, and the beautiful views, I can't imagine anyone would go anywhere else. We will be back...often.

I chose Pearlessance River Inn as our B&B while planning my tour de pour through Sonoma County…read more We've done wine country every other year so we wanted to flavor Sonoma's beer offerings as supposed to Napa's wines. Lagunitas, Russian River and Bear Republic were all the must hit breweries on our trip. I called Linda a few weeks in advance and got us a two nighter. I mapped everything out in advance and Sebastopol was a great location in between the breweries. Linda was professional and very accommodating as she suggested other local microbreweries that we can try. When we drove through Sebastopol, we noticed tons of vintage shops. My wife was in heaven! I'm there for the booze and apparently she's there for the old knick knacks! Whatever makes her happy right? Anyhoo, we arrived at Pearlessance around 6:00 p.m. and was immediately captivated by the colors of the leaves from the vines. Who knew that a B&B was tucked in the middle of an actual vineyard right? Greg greeted us and gave us a tour of the property. Before he left us alone, he asked what time we would like breakfast. We told him around 10 the next morning. At exactly 10 the next morning, we woke up to a light knock on our door with breakfast piping hot on our porch. We had a blast touring all of the breweries and buying vintage crap! We bought so much that we couldn't fit all of it in our lil Prius on our way home. Growlers of craft beer is definitely a priority to bring back to the Bay Area. We asked Greg if could leave this big wooden mirror that we bought until a later weekend and he was so gracious enough to keep it there for us. We came back as promised and Greg even helped us strapped the big wooden mirror onto the roof of our SUV. We had a wonderful experience at Pearlessance River Inn from the beginning to the end! We've stayed at a lot of B&Bs in the past and this is our favorite by a long mile. The single room makes it so intimate. I don't necessary enjoy waking up and eating breakfast with 10 other couples like it's a dining hall. Breakfast is brought to your room and hell, you could even eat breakfast naked if you wanted too! Don't hesitate! If you're reading this, don't waste your time looking at other places.

Sound: We had one of the front rooms and the busy road noise is loud. Also, we could hear everything from our neighbor including them snoring. 2. I asked for an amenity for the birthday celebration and we were promised something waiting. I had to ask again and we ended up with two pieces of chocolate. I've paid a lot less for hotels that have included way better birthday amenities. 3. The room is nice but nothing exceptional. 4. Smores hour is cute but the smores are definitely stale. 5. I dropped something behind the tub and it was clear things had not been cleaned back there. Everything else was very clean, and that is important to me. 6. The restaurant is overrated. Go to other spots for the vibe and food. The pros: 1. I absolutely love the connections that this hotel has to wineries and wine tasting. We would come back just for this as staying at farmhouse gets you exceptional service at the partner wineries. This is what makes it special! 2. The wine happy hour hosts were also great. Special shoutout to freeman who was extra sweet to us. 3. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The service really stands out and brings this hotel up to 4 stars. 4. The lobby cat is very cute!
