I booked 2 nights here at Sebastopol Inn (via Booking.com) last minutes for a short trip to Bodega bay. Reading some negative reviews from Booking.com and here on Yelp, I was a bit concerned. But we had a pleasant time there. The room looked new with simple but nice decor. I believe they just have all the rooms renovated. There were AC, but you can lift the window to get some breeze fresh air. They have Keurig coffee machine, small fridge but no microwave. The lady at the lobby (afternoon to night shift) was very nice and helpful. Plus, there is a very nice coffee shop (coffee Catz) just few steps from the inn and across the street is The Barlow Community Market (a complex of food, brewing, grocery, shopping). I would recommend you to visit this lovely small town if you go to Bodega bay and stay in The Sebastopol Inn. read more

This is apparently the only motel/hotel/inn in Sebastopol and the experience at check-in was so horrible, that I can say little positive about it. The room was spacious, somewhat dated, but the room (with the exception of the bathroom) was immaculate. The beds were comfortable. As I there for a two-day wedding celebration, and the Inn appeared to be the only lodging available in Sebastopol. I had booked a room with balcony, and the confirmation came back from booking.com that my reservation was with balcony. When I arrived, I was told that their computer system was down and 1) they wanted to make photocopies of both my ID and credit card; 2) They needed me to fill out two different letter size forms, with all inclusive information, address, telephone, credit card number, expiration, 3-digit cc security number, personal email address, etc. I objected to the photo-copying, stating I had never experienced this before, only out-of-country, when hotels sometimes are required by their national laws to keep photocopies of passport pages. As I had the wedding the next day, I could not move to another lodging. When the clerk gave me the room card and information, I saw that I had room with patio, not balcony. And at $204.06 per night, I expected what I had reserved. I brought up the booking.com confirmed reservation on my smartphone, but the clerk refused to look at it, stating that the reservation was with them, not booking.com and booking.com had come up with their own description. I demurred, based on my experiences with booking.com and other reservation sites and asked to speak with the manager or owner, but was told no one was available. As I was leaving the office, the clerk shouted after me, something to the effect that "I don't see why you feel so entitled." Apparently $204.06 per night did not allow me to feel entitled to the room I had reserved. The reception that I received clouded my entire stay. As I mentioned above, the room was immaculate with the exception of the bathroom. The entire bathroom could use a deep cleaning - photos attached of the lavatory and the toilet paper stand, which you can see is extremely rusted on its base and the tile floor could use a deep cleaning. The drain of the lavatory also needed work. The upkeep of the bathroom ranks at the bottom of hotels/motels/inns at which I have stayed. On my final morning, I checked, and someone had gone in to the booking.com site and altered the reservation to delete the "balcony" part of the reservation. When checking out, I was told the statement would be emailed to me, but after 25 days, I still have not received it. Even if I have another wedding to attend in Sebastopol, I could never bring myself to stay here again. read more

This Inn has very dirty rooms, which are basically unlivable. They also do not tell patrons that they have homeless and drug addict persons living on the second level of the Inn. There are two females working the front desk who take turns, and they both are unknowledgeable and extremely rude. I requested the manager to be called and come in and she did- after an hour and a half. These individuals at Sebastopol Inn also discriminated against one of my disabled family members. The manager saw no problem with the discrimination- to which I explained it was illegal. She said she didn't care and let her staff members continue to berat us, and refused handicap accessibility for our room. Inside the room, to reiterate- it was absolutely disgusting, everything smelled of mold, and dust. They refused to change our room, or have it cleaned properly (they consider cleaning to put toilet paper in the room). They refused to refund our money to go to another clean and less discriminating hotel. They send that if we left, we would be billed for all additional days. Sebastopol Inn is a disgusting, rude, and very noisy place (due to the homeless and drug addicts walking around partying all night), Sebastopol Inn discriminates against the disabled and that is unacceptable. Price was different when charged than what was quoted on phone. I will never stay here again. Staff was clueless. I certainly got the feeling no one cared about the hotel. In a last minute Expedia long shot we booked this place on the fly taking into consideration it had over 4 stars with whatever rating platform was attached to Expedia. Agree with RO f review. The place is cute and convenient as far as location and exterior landscape. However the room itself was more like a 2 star. Stains on the carpet, fridge barely worked, dirty bathroom vent, lights unplugged, food under the table , toilet was newer but seat was peeling and old, shower facet leaked excessive water and a worker walked in when my girlfriend was in the shower even though the do not disturb sign was on the door. The channels on the tv are limited and any movies we found to watch were not authorized. We decided that one or two of these things wouldn't be a huge deal but the accumulation of everything merited a complaint with management. We felt like half a refund on the $225 would be reasonable . We went and let front desk person Chris know about these things and he was very nice about it but said all he could do was discount the room to $189 and pointed outside to a bunch of containers and said all the rooms would be updated in a few months. I let him know that I still felt the place was over priced and misrepresented but decided not to argue the point of more of a refund any further. On a positive not the hot tub water was really nice and clean and the front desk lady at night and the guy Chris in the morning were really nice folks. Parking is close to the rooms and free which was nice. I gave it 3 stars on the generous side just because I am a business owner myself and know how powerful yelp is on a business and didn't want to hammer the establishment just make some reasonable valid points that folks should know about. read more

We booked a room at the Sebastopol Inn September 7, 2019. At 11pm the bathroom sink started making an awful sound and then proceeded to overflow onto the bathroom floor. We called the front desk and Seth came right up, apologized, and moved us to another room. Unfortunately our bathroom bag was on the floor and had gotten wet/stained. We do have a picture of the bag and you can clearly see the water stain. Seth told us the hotel was having on-going plumbing problems with that room. The following morning we checked out. Upon getting home we noticed our bag was water stained. We called the hotel and talked with Eva. She then became the go between us and the hotel manager, Tina. Unfortunately Tina has only responded to one call, which she said she would reimburse us for a new bag as long as we mailed her the receipt, which we did, 3 times by email and certified mail. She is now refusing to reimburse us or accept our telephone calls. We would like to be reimbursed for the the new bag, which cost us $63.17. We are following up with the BBB to lodge a formal complaint in detail with pictures/documents. Their customer service is awful, we won't be back or recommend this inn to any of our friends. Stayed in room 106, room was spacious, BUT ourvtv in the bedroom did not change channels, the old stove heater did not work in the living room and last a huge bug was in our bathroom which most likely came in through the shower pipes. Yuck!!! All this was noted to the front desk person Eli who said he would talk to manger Tina. Through several emails we explained how unhappy we were with this stay and we paid a huge price. She gave us $22.80 of our $300. Plus bill. I have stayed at many places and usually the hotel industry will give you a better refund than this or even bring you back to make up for all the mishaps. My room had not been vacuumed (food in the corners) and there was hair all over the bathroom and it was not mine. . My sister's room the bathroom had mold everywhere. And my Dad's room had a big ant problem. The room next door's air conditioner raddled all night. We love to swim and hot tub after our adventures. The hot tub and pool were closed. Big bummer. STAY AWAY! My family and I travel 500 miles BACK to a town I was raised in to lay to rest our elderly mother who passed a week prior and was appalled and humiliated by a hotel that totally misrepresented itself from its website. Office staff were incompetent and patronizing. The rooms did not have microwaves as advertised. The Pool and jacuzzi were cold and filthy (80's weather!) the rooms had few towels and the ones given to us wreaked of bleach. The carpets appeared dirty and the bathroom didn't have a toilet tissue dispenser on the wall. The outside had shady looking characters hanging around arguing and we find out later that the hotel is beginning to house the homeless! and I have kids! read more

And the location simply can't be beat. I booked this hotel to stay over the holidays while visiting relatives. HORRIBLE does not begin to describe my experience. The rooms are dirty & the staff lazy. The first evening I returned to the room after being out, I found an ant infestation. I couldn't find where they were coming from, but when I lifted the clock radio, I found out what they were coming for--there was a sticky substance apparently left by housekeeping. When I called the front desk, the receptionist said she would be right up, but when she showed up 29-minutes later carrying Clorox wipes, I had already taken a hot towel and cleaned up the ants. I did take the disinfecting wipes to clean the rest of the area. Tonight I came back to ants IN the bed. Housekeeping did not bother to vacuum or change the sheets this afternoon. I called the front desk from my room, no answer at 9 PM. I called again from my mobile, I got the answering machine and left a message. I walked down, found the receptionist, and it took It an argument to get clean sheets and pillow cases. Oh, and I am staying in the newly renovated one-bedroom "suite"...Merry Christmas. This is just a glorified Super 8 type of motel but at Wine Country over inflated prices. The old saying "you can put lipstick on a pig, and it's still a pig" applies here. The first off putting piece of this puzzle is the sour, no personality woman who was working the front desk. Piece #2 were all the little signs in the room, to tell you what to do and how to work everything. I guess most of the clientele must be 5 year olds. Piece #3 was the sign in the hallway which stated quiet time at 10:00 pm. So, off to bed with the lights out at 9:30, for us. Unfortunately the rule did not apply to the 2 homeless people, fighting and yelling, in the field next to the motel. I will give props to the grounds, and the location, but I feel we payed at least $75.00 to much, for a motel 6 type room. Do yourself a favor and head over to Santa Rosa, for a much better room, and price. read more

Have stayed here twice--the cheaper of two options in Sebastopol. Glorified motel 6, at "Wine Country" prices. WAY WAY overpriced, not very clean, lazy and unhelpful employees. "Deluxe" room ($330 for one night) looks out on the bike path, where I saw a homeless pair and their dogs crapping when I opened the curtain in the morning. Coffee machine was broken, delivering 1/3 cup of coffee from a full cup of water somehow. Rooms look like they were last renovated in the 1980s. Toilet and tub not clean. Bed was memory foam, I think; covers itchy. Can't speak for the TV or anything else in the room; I didn't use them. Suggest you pop over to Santa Rosa for more motel choices. You can get a room just as awful as this one for probably half the price. read more

ROOMS ARE FILTHY DIRTY. Do not recommend. I'm shocked to find this place is open for business or the fact that it has past the health department's inspections. The toilet had piss all over it and the lid was stained yellow from piss. The toilet bowl was stained. The bathtub had a ring around the tub, and visible mold. The shower curtain was yellow at the bottom. Black mold on the walls in the bathroom was visible as well. Bed spread was full of stains that were disgusting. Sheets were rough at the lower part of the bed where your feet are...not sure what that was about and didn't want to look in fear of finding something bad. The stench in the room was nauseating. We had DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door and every day we came back to the room and found bed made. Third day we stopped by office and told them we hung the DND sign on the door and told them not to go in our room, the front desk girl proceeded to say "you don't want fresh linens?" I said NO, she then asked if I wanted the bed made, I said NO, what part of do not go into our room did she not understand!?! The same girl called us at 12:10 pm and said they went into our room and wanted to know why our stuff was still in the room. So they still entered the room even after I asked them not to and hung the sign on the door. We were booked for 4 nights for $724. But they charged $724 for 3 nights. Absolutely no clear communication. I asked for a manager and was told no manager was available and there wasn't one on-site. I told the girl to call the manager or owner and I would wait. She said she would try but the manager might not answer her phone. Magically the manager walked in the office literally 2 minutes after I was told the manager wasn't available. I asked the front desk girl who called why she went into the room after I told her 2 hours earlier not too, and her reply was that she thought we checked out. I then asked why she didn't say this when I was in earlier and by this point she was out of her league. They charged $264 a night which was not communicated clearly. We were told it was $140 a night but she would have to charge more for holiday weekend through Monday. I said fine, just give me the total for staying Thursday through Sunday, checking out on Monday morning. She quoted $724, I said book it. No mention of maid service, no mention of anything else. My fault for not reviewing the ledger when checking in. We left our home quickly after a mold inspection report found elevated levels (85%) of toxic mold spores. Husband has been sick for two months with unexplained symptoms. Front desk staff are not trained. It was clear the girl spoke broken English, however I do not feel she actually understood English based on her absurd responses. When questioned why they entered our room with the DND sign hanging on the door knob, she said it wasn't her responsibility to tell the cleaning staff to stay out of our room, and continued to say it was our duty. Outside grounds are disgusting as well. Not a place worth $264 a night. I told the manager that the room was disgusting and filthy, her reply was "they would check into it." No apology. She also said they were working on it. They offered no compensation for their mistake on the amount of nights we booked, and wanted to charge another nights stay at $264 plus tax and other fees. We declined and got out of there as quick as we could after they locked us out of the room. I take full responsibility on missing the amount of days booked and paid the $724. This review is to warn others that the place is just dirty as hell and way overpriced. No exaggeration. I will be contacting the better business bureau to lodge a formal complaint in detail with pictures of the filth. We are at the Marriott in Santa Rosa now and it is absolutely 200% cleaner then this dump. read more

The guy who owns and runs this place is super shady. His name is Ashok and he's an Indian guy probably in his mid to late 40s. If he is at the front desk when you go to check in, turn around and run. When my wife and I arrived, we had booked a room online for two nights for $160 per night. When we checked in, Ashok tried to hard sell us a suite for the "discounted" price of $250 per night. My wife and I briefly talked it over and decided that $90 extra per night is not worth it, so we politely declined. When we get into our room, it's fairly big with a bedroom, bathroom, and separate living room. It looks like a suite, so we assume that Ashok was simply out of regular rooms and tried to get us to pay more for the suite he was forced to give us. So we thought the guy was shady from the start, but we had no idea. When we checked out two days later, the bill said $500 or $250 per night. I told him that our online confirmation showed $160 per night. Ashok then claimed we accepted his offer of a suite two days before. My wife and I were incredulous as we had clearly said no. Unfortunately for us, Ashok produced a piece a paper that I had signed at check in with $250/night quoted in really fine print. After having a few glasses of wine before we arrived, I obviously didn't look at it closely enough, but this seemed like a complete scam--getting a guest to sign off on a more expensive room when they're not paying attention. I felt completely ripped off, and Ashok didn't help by being a complete jerk about it. No offer of a discount or even a "sorry for the confusion." How this guy expects repeat business after treating customers like this is beyond me. This was the worst room I've ever paid $250/night for. I can stay in a nice Union Square hotel in SF for that kind of money, and this place had hard beds, no soundproofing, terrible water pressure, a dinky pool, TVs made in 1990, and a complete motel feel. Sorry, Ashok, the small bottle of crappy Korbel that you left for us didn't make up for the room that was overpriced by at least $100 per night. read more

Yep, the cumulative 1 1/2 star rating that Yelp users have given this "hotel" is spot-on... Let me recount my experience here... The fiancé and I showed up there yesterday, after we found Boon to be deserted and the inn owners were nowhere in sight (another odd story), and we were treated pretty rudely by who I assume was the owner of this place (Indian man in his late 40s with an extremely rude and inhospitable attitude), and were given the keys to a very overpriced and "blechy/WTF?" room. The room: First off, we noticed some fairly large stains on the carpet near the front door, and stains on the comforter (this was the second "sign" after our encounter with the front-desk guy/owner/whatever that this place was not good news. The mattress was probably the most uncomfortable "hotel"-- I hesitate to call this a hotel or an inn, since it doesn't even come close to meeting those standards--that I have slept on, and the pillows were like bags of cements, so needless to say, this was not a restful night's sleep for me. Oh, and no breakfast was included in the price, which was.... oh, something like $122. For that amount of money, as a consumer, you should expect a whole lot more, and would get more from most of the other "lower star" chains like Holiday Inn Express, or any Best Western for that matter--plus cleanliness would most likely not be an issue. Given the sub-sub-standard conditions of this "establishment," I cannot fathom what the owner (s) think justifies the inflated prices for these rooms--it just doesn't make any sense. In the final analysis, it is my opinion that the motivations for this kind of business practice is "wine country opportunism" plain and simple. They seem to have a lot of advertisements for local businesses, and restaurants, and I'm wondering if they are given any kickbacks for possibly referring customers to these businesses--this is only conjecture at this current time on my part, so who can say. Final parting words of advice for ANY potential occupants of ANY hotel/inn/motel: Ask to look at the rooms first to see if the conditions are acceptable, and do so BEFORE you pay for anything. My fiancé and I have been locked into a back-and-forth, tooth and nail struggle to receive a refund from another local establishment after having to deal with bed bug bites, (ahem, the Cazsonoma Inn), and let me say, that the amount of frustration and personal psychic wear and tear that ensues from a struggle with disreputable business owners is likely not worth it. read more

We booked out much of the inn for our wedding. Without warning, they charged our guests' credit cards two days before check-in. Pre-authorization charges are relatively common at *check-in* to cover incidentals, and sometimes hotels may request that you pay for your room in advance, but I've never heard of being charged unexpectedly in advance. It just so happens that my best friend's card didn't work when they randomly decided to charge it. It's not so surprising that it would happen to at least one person, given that no one expected the charges and people are putting a lot of travel and wedding expenses on their cards. The owners called her at 9pm on the Wednesday before the wedding to demand immediate payment or they would give her room to someone else. Obviously, this is not appropriate--9pm on a Wednesday is not business hours, and it is rude to call people so late, particularly parents of young children. My friend was understandably busy, and asked to call back in the morning to resolve the issue. And this is where it gets completely outrageous--they said no. Obviously, at 9pm she doesn't have many options, like calling the card company, etc. This humiliated her as she was forced to ask someone she was with if she could use their credit card to hold the reservation. On hearing the story, I was horrified by their rudeness, and that they had threatened to throw my bridesmaids out of their room without bothering to check with my husband and I, even though we had paid them over $8000 as a deposit against our guests' payment. I gently tried to bring up this awkward situation with the owner when we arrived. He became aggressively argumentative, just as he had with my best friend. I felt threatened and helpless, and was mortified that my guests had been treated so rudely. read more

I am pretty amazed on the negative comments because we never had a problem with resevation or the service. Overall: Conviently located in walking distance of Downtown No breakfast but I recommend going to EAST WEST CAFE- organic cafe Minutes away from great wineries- ASK the INNKEEPER for free pass CLEAN but WORN OUT and (drum roll ...) - 115 bucks a night compare to lowest B&B in the area for $160- $250................ We were very disappointed when we returned to our room after a day away to find that our room had not been cleaned or restocked with clean towels or supplies. When I spoke with staff I was told the rooms would not be cleaned until after we left because of Covid. It would have been nice if they had told us that at check in. You are responsible for getting any additional items you may need from the office. No microwave, no hairdryer. Located next to a construction site that was loud and annoying. We stayed at the Suite, solely because this was the long weekend and everything else was sold, and paid $330 which was just about the rate everywhere, but definitely way overpriced. Avoid this place! You can do better! WAY overpriced and the worst hotel experience I have had...ever. I stayed here for a friend's wedding this past weekend and was incredibly envious of my friends who had gone the Airbnb route. There is nothing luxurious about the inn. The linens and towels are threadbare / fraying and bed & pillows were very uncomfortable. Toiletries were cheap and there is no breakfast or food of any kind. The furniture is super outdated (not vintage as some reviewers have said). Owner is incredibly rude. After I checked in I discovered the carpet had just been cleaned and was still soaking wet and smelled of strong cleaning chemicals. When the owner came up to my room after I called the front desk, he made a million excuses and told me it would be try in 45 minutes and I should "put on some socks". The carpet was dry 16 hours later. During the first conversation, he refused to discount the room. The next conversation we had he said he would "take care of me". He never delivered on that promise. In fact, service was horrible during my entire visit -- for example, my room wasn't made up after I left the "please make up this room" sign on the door from 8:45am to 2pm. Unacceptable. Only things going for this place is the location, the adorable coffee shop next door, and the nice front desk staff who I pity for having to put up with such a horrible boss. read more

My husband and I just stayed here this past Memorial Day weekend, just to get out of the gloomy fog of San Francisco and enjoy some wine tasting and exploring. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Hotel is equipped a lovely heated swimming pool and hot tub as well which we used a ton. Walking distance to EVERYTHING, and just lovely overall. It's a no frills kinda place, but when staying in Sebastopol there is so much to do, all you need is a warm bed to sleep in, right? The location and courtyard. Mattress very comfortable. Lobby Man who checked us in and out of the hotel was very nice and professional. Bathroom was dirty, walls were dirty. Bathroom door jam on the inside was very dirty with hand grime. Room needs an update everything look old and out of date by decades. not very pleasing to eye. Needs update and cleaning! Biggest Problem. Check out time was at 11am and they tried to kick us out at 9:30am. Housekeeping opened the door to our room at 9:30am and announced herself. We said we were sleeping. Then at 10:35AM we could here several people and housekeeping and someone else saying we were still in the room. Yes we were in the room and the windows were open, they were standing right in front of it. We heard them say they were going to the office to call our room. We received the call a minuet later reminding us that check out time was at 11am. We were out at 11:01AM and my cousin still left a 5$ tip for house keeping because we thought this was not the housekeepers personal policy to walk in kick people out at 9:30 AM. I have never been so harassed and stalked. The town was wonderful, I will stay somewhere else next time. read more

First off, you do not get what you pay for. The rooms are big but that is about the only positive. Another couple and I were stopping through Sebastopol and needed a place to stay, so we shared a room with 2 queen beds. I made a comment to my boyfriend that this looked like the kind of hotel that you see in horror films, where you check-in and are murdered by some crazy psycho killer. The room was actually quite dirty as well, which made me question if it had even been cleaned after the previous guest. Good news, we survived the night! However I got a call from my friend (who's credit card we held the room to) saying that they were charging her $26 for a missing binder and mug. Are you kidding me!?!?! She said that the person she spoke with told her to call the other people in the room to see if they would "fess up" to taking the items. I'm sorry but I am a grown adult and I have no need to a mug or binder that says the name of a motel where I wondered if I would be awoken by some crazy axe murderer. I told her to dispute the charges, we honestly did not take those items and I'm wondering how often they "claim" things are missing just to overcharge people. My husband and I actually really like this place. We stayed last April in a 'deluxe' balcony room, and it was quite nice, then recently in a standard courtyard room, since we wanted to pay 95 rather than 139! Both types of room have a small table and chairs by the window, and the coffee maker comes with the little containers of real half & half, which I love! I did have to double check the website to let the woman on the phone know that it was listing the 95 weekday price as available over the holiday weekend, but we got it. The mattress and bedding could use some updating or more padding, but the heater worked well, and the sheets were soft enough. The man at the front desk [owner?] was nice at check in & out, let us check in before 1 pm, and lent a corkscrew when we needed it. ;p Probably the best part about this place is that you can walk to the Hopmonk Tavern for concerts--that's why we've been, both times. Coffee Catz toward the front of the parking lot has great food & drink in a cute old building with a lot of charm! If you're in town on a Sunday night, secure your dinner before 9pm--there's pretty much nothing afterwards!!! read more

Nice and newly renovated rooms. Stopped here for a room last minute on a road trip to Oregon. Reasonably priced. Especially after staying at a Motel 6 in Monterey. (But that's another Yelp review!) The inn is super cute on the outside. The room itself was large. It had a comfy king bed, a couch. A balcony you can step out on. You can even open the windows rather that use the a/c. There was a pull out couch. A desk/table that rolled out. Flat screen. Several usb outlets. (Nice feature) A keurig and small fridge. The bathroom is pretty big. No tub. Just a shower. Accent lighting behind the mirror. Nice touch! I would highly recommend! read more

I stayed over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The room was booked that Friday, so my boyfriend booked one of the last rooms, a double. The woman who checked my boyfriend and I in was friendly, told us where to locate the wifi password, and directed us to a restaurant that had been recommend to us elsewhere. The hotel is dated, but overall in good condition. The room was clean, spacious, and had the usual amenities. Extra points for the Nespresso coffee machine. The little fridge came in handy storing our picnic lunch. Other reviews noted questionable bedding, but I found fresh white sheets as expected. Fresh towels too. The hotel shares a parking lot with cafe/coffee shops and a few holistic businesses. You walk across the street to a larger boutique shopping center with all kinds of restaurants, bakeries, wine bar, brewery, market, etc. Other food options in walking distance are just as plentiful and tasty. After long, hot days exploring Sonoma and Napa it was nice to cool off at the Inn and take a quick walk to find a really good dinner. I took advantage of the bike rental shop in the next parking lot & trails in and around Sebastopol. With the drought the local watering holes don't really make for great swimming, so we substituted for the pool. The Inn's pool and hot tub really hit the spot. Long story short we're glad we waited too long to get a room in Napa or Sonoma. The Inn was a great resting place after a full days of biking and wine tasting. The food in walking distance really was on par with what you'd find in SF & the East Bay. The evenings were very quiet and I slept well, which is always hit and miss at hotels. Check out was smooth and again the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay at the Inn again. read more

This hotel is awesome. Reasonably priced, quiet, comfortable and walking distance to everything! Our second floor room faced out the back towards open space and a bike trail. There's a bike rental place just a few doors down. There's also an organic-style grocery store across the street that has a salad bar and hot food. The grocery store is part of a fabulous new development called "The Barlow" with restaurants, shops, art, wine tasting and more. Check it out, we couldn't have been happier! read more

Made a last-minute reservation at 8AM for a Saturday. I gave them my address and credit card. At 10AM I got a call that the room was $30 more expensive as they had given me the Friday rate. Anyway, I agreed to it. Around noon, they call me again and claimed that there was credit card issues. Soon after that, I received another call. The said that the room was not available as it had some plumbing problems and they offered me another hotel room in a Santa Rosa motel. However, we wanted to stay in Sebastopol so the offer did not make sense. Fortunately, we were somewhat local so we decided to return home after having dinner. There are plenty of nice and welcoming hotels. The staff of this one seems to be disorganized and the business lacks good customer service so not a place that I am eager to stay. read more

This place is in a great location, convenient to a lot of great places in town. We were able to walk to dinner, coffee, drinks and more. Unfortunately the hotel itself is not all that great. The rooms are simple, which was fine, but the place was dirty. Bedspreads were stained and appeared to not have been washed recently. The carpets were also stained and dusty, particularly behind furniture and in the corners. Overall it was fine for a night or so but hard to recommend. read more
