My husband and I recently stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary and loved it. Our room was great and the Inn is the cutest. The breakfast service and food was incredible and we loved having our coffee delivered earlier (and then more coffee at breakfast time). The wine happy hour with lots of wine options and our own veggie and dips platter was delicious and fun too. We met other great guests and loved our stay. We'd also walk to downtown for meals and exploring which was a great walk and most of the exercise I got on this vacation... While we were there and planning our next trip back, we heard that they're unfortunately closing for 6+ months in 2025 since they have new owners. I really hope the same charm and all the special detail comes back to this spot when they re-open (and hope they're not closed for long!)! read more

The River Belle Inn is an incredible gem located next to the Russian River. It has beautiful suites that overlook the river as well as garden view suites. We stayed in the Alexander Valley Suite to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It has a large tub in the room that comfortably fits two and overlooks the romantic fireplace. It also has a comfortable king sized bed. Definitely a perfect room for a special occasion. A full breakfast is offered every morning and you get to select where to dine, such as the River Room (recommended), the dining room, garden patio, or even in your room. The menu selection is extensive and generous. Every evening there is a happy hour with a great selection of local wine and a snack platter that is delightful! They also serve warm chocolate chip cookies. This is an incredible to meet new people. Each night we had stimulating conversation with guests who traveled far and wide. We were late for dinner both nights because of the great discussions we had. Briana was the manager on site and she is incredible! She needs to teach a master class on hospitality. She thought of everything and was so warm and accommodating. We had a special and memorable time. I originally found the River Belle Inn on Air Bnb and began messaging with Brianna to find out there were more bedrooms available that were not featured online. I inquired further and booked directly through Brianna at the River Belle Inn with total ease! She recommended a room on the "darker" side of the Inn which we really appreciated as we wanted to sleep in. Upon arrival, the grounds are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed the easy check in process, lovely happy hour with different wines, charcuterie boards, and cookies. We loved walking around the grounds and taking in the river. In the morning it was relatively quiet compared to your average hotel. We really enjoyed our breakfast items which we ordered the night prior on a breakfast menu with a plethora of options. This place is a gem. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the downtown square but I found the location to be perfectly situated by the river. They have happy hour so we had a glass of wine by the water. 10/10! My hubby and I booked a night for a "stay-cation" . This place is a hidden gem! Right on the river. Our room had a two person soaking tub with a fireplace, a very large shower and comfortable bed. Happy hour was amazing! Charcuterie board for each room with wine or champagne which you could enjoy around the fireplace or take to your room. In the morning we were greeted with a tray of fresh hot coffee, cream and sugar. Followed by a beautiful breakfast we had ordered the night before, which could be enjoyed in a sunroom on the river, the main dining room or delivered to your room. Flawless B&B. We've stayed at many across the country and this one was the best. The owners ars very friendly, helpful and gracious. Really neat cocktail hour with free beer, wine ice tea and snacks. Breakfast was amazing, delicious, made to order and as much as you want (all of which can be hard to find at other bed and Breakfasts). The backyard with the river was absolutely stunning, we wanted to spend all our time at the hotel. There's a sweet dog to keep you company and lots of places to relax. Clean room with comfortable beds with good air conditioning and a early morning staff to being coffee or tea to your room. The grounds are gorgeous, the environment completely relaxing, and the staff absolutely gracious and attentive. This place is simply fabulous!! The preserved original house is in immaculate condition from the seating areas downstairs to the rooms themselves. We had suites 6 and 9 both of which have beautiful views of the Russian River. The owners are extraordinarily friendly and make guests feel welcome the minute you enter the door. That the breakfast was also excellent is just an added plus. The house is a short walk from downtown Healdsburg so you have the benefit of being right there but removed from the modest disruption of being on Main Street where the main hotel is located. Could not ask for a nicer, more relaxing place for a weekend getaway. read more

Congratulations to River Belle Inn owner Mr. Thomas Bangs for not tearing down the former Simi Winey owner Isabelle Simi Haigh's 1875 Italianate Victorian, where she lived as a young girl until her death at age 95. On Sunday the Healdsburg community was invited to check out the renovation and expansion at an open house. I was pleasantly surprised to find an elegant blend of modern luxury and refined touches from the past throughout. The upstairs suites at the back of the house offer enchanting views overlooking the river. What makes River Belle Inn unique is its setting on the west side of the Russian River, the towering palms and redwood trees surrounding the property, nearby wineries and close proximity to Hwy 101. Room prices range from $200 to $400+ and include breakfast. Oh, and they have room service, too. If I didn't already live in Healdsburg, I'd book this charming B&B. read more

My wife and her three "besties" had a fantastic stay. Wonderful breakfast menu with lots of choices, coffee at your door by 7:30AM. Lots of lovely dining spots indoors and out. What a gem! Pros: beautiful grounds and room, excellent service, loved the happy hour, breakfast, and views. They even leave coffee at your door in the morning. Mia the dog was a delight. They do there best to offer ideas for things to do around town. Location is amazing. Very close to downtown. Con: Ugh, I hate bringing this up, but given the times, I think I should for the safety of future guest. In my personal opinion, I don't think all the proper precautions were taken to prevent COVID spread. Management doesn't wear masks at all. They try and keep sufficient (6 feet) distance, but there were times drinks were served with no masks and they stayed in close proximity talking to us. On arrival, one of the owners escorted us into our room and explained breakfast, etc with no mask. I don't think any bad intention was there, but I think every effort should be made to make sure guests are comfortable and safe. I think a simple ask as to whether a mask is preferred would have gone a long way... Again, I don't think any bad intention was intended. Overall we loved the accommodation. read more

Beautiful grounds and amazing service. The daily breakfast is way beyond what you would expect (fresh pastries, eggs benedict, belgian waffles) and you can order it in room or anywhere on the grounds. One night we just stayed on the property, grabbed some takeout and played board games on the porch...very relaxing! Our room was small..ish, but did the job. It's a about a 15 minute walk to the town square. The super friendly owner, Mitsy, will help with restaurant recs and reservations. All of her suggestions were delicious! They also host a nightly happy hour for all guests and provide some thoughtful snacks. This will be a regular place for us to take local, childless vacations. read more

Our experience was even better than we could have imagined. This peaceful, quiet and beautifully renovated white house sits right on the Russian River and has plenty of spots sit and enjoy the scenery. Our room was perfect with large double doors opening out to the river front on the second floor. When you arrive, you are welcomed by Mitzi (one of the owners) and Mia (the sweet resident yellow lab) with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in your room. We stayed one night as a little Bay Area getaway. What an absolutely lovely experience! The owners were extremely friendly and their dog was very friendly and sweet too. This property is located right on the slow moving part of the Russian River. The sitting area outside the property facing the river was quite scenic and a great place to enjoy the host provided happy hour treats in the afternoon. Breakfast was also spectacular and really glad we chose the outside seating option as well. I can't say enough great things about this property and the hosts. It is within a five minute walk of downtown which has many cute shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms, you name it! Will definitely be back in the future. We spent one night and our stay was lovely. Our room was well appointed, but very small. The queen bed literally took up 90% of the room, making it difficult to have 2 people off the bed at one time. The bathroom, however, was huge. So if you are large people, you will want to ask about room sizes when booking. We appreciated the short walk into Healdsburg, where we had a tasty dinner at Bel Campo(host recommended). Stayed over Memorial Weekend without really knowing what it would be like and we were amazingly surprised! First of all, the owners are wonderful and so accommodating. The view from the back of the Inn overlooks the river! The Inn is within walking distance to the square, so you can spend some of your time sightseeing and shopping or taking in a few wine tastings! The Inn had amazing happy hours with just more than finger food! They had the eating areas decorated with Red, White, and Blue to get us in the patriotic spirit! We had made reservations for a restaurant on Sunday, but changed our minds to stay at the Inn for their Memorial Day barbecue and had a fabulous time! Exceeded Expectations This place has so many positives it's hard to mention them all. The evening wine reception with nibbles, the great variety of indoor and outdoor sitting options, the coffee available before breakfast for early risers, the Adirondack chairs on the back lawn to watch the river flow, the made to order breakfast, socializing with the owners on the lawn, snacks and waters in the room, and the list goes on. May B&B's are very frilly, which may appeal to many, but I prefer a little less of that and a little more comfort and function and this place is right on. The pictures are fair and accurate, the food was fantastic and it's walking distance to the heart of downtown with great dining options. The host and hostess are friendly and easy to talk to. Mia the Golden is relaxed and welcoming. With the different sitting areas guests can be as social or private as desired. No doubt we'll be back. read more

What a wonderful property and hospitable hosts! My husband and I spent a night at the River Belle Inn celebrating his 50th birthday. We were in Healdsburg with a group of friends for the day, so we did not fully enjoy the amenities of the Inn, but found it to be very charming and are already looking forward to going back. When we checked in (very late at night) we found a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a delicious chocolate/peanut butter cupcake. Such a nice detail! Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Only two small details could have made it any better. First, the very high windows did not have curtains, so there was lots of light coming in early in the morning and second, there was a gardener with a leaf blower right outside of our door before 8AM. After a late night, a little bit more sleep would have been very much appreciated! We would definitely recommend the River Belle Inn and will come back when we have a more relaxed and unscheduled weekend. The inn is a beautiful old house that has been renovated and expanded by the owners and tastefully decorated. It is situated on the river and has beautiful views.
