10/10! My hubby and I booked a night for a "stay-cation" . This place is a hidden gem! Right on the river. Our room had a two person soaking tub with a fireplace, a very large shower and comfortable bed. Happy hour was amazing! Charcuterie board for each room with wine or champagne which you could enjoy around the fireplace or take to your room. In the morning we were greeted with a tray of fresh hot coffee, cream and sugar. Followed by a beautiful breakfast we had ordered the night before, which could be enjoyed in a sunroom on the river, the main dining room or delivered to your room. Briana and Jen were amazing hosts, kind, professional and accommodating. We will be coming back!

Breakfast is delicious Staff is lovely Rooms are comfortable No complaints! 5 stars

This is a beautiful, quaint, bed and breakfast close to shopping and great dining. Happy hour in the evenings affords you the opportunity to meet new people, learn about the area, and experience wine country. Don't forget to meet "Mia", the 'owner' of the Inn...she's a darling yellow Lab that will capture your heart the minute you meet her.

River Belle Inn hosted our entire family (16 in total) for our grandson's wedding in glorious style! Beginning with beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms with exceptional views, to delicious pizza on the patio for a "happiest hour" with an array of local wines, and a perfectly prepared breakfast of your choice in one of 5 different dining locations. The grounds are gorgeous, the environment completely relaxing, and the staff absolutely gracious and attentive. A charming downtown is just a 10-15 minute walk....but be sure to make dinner reservations! We will absolutely visit The River Belle Inn again! Two thumbs up to Kathy and Mitzi for making our stay that much more special - Oh and Mia too (woof!)!!

This place is simply fabulous!! The preserved original house is in immaculate condition from the seating areas downstairs to the rooms themselves. We had suites 6 and 9 both of which have beautiful views of the Russian River. The owners are extraordinarily friendly and make guests feel welcome the minute you enter the door. That the breakfast was also excellent is just an added plus. The house is a short walk from downtown Healdsburg so you have the benefit of being right there but removed from the modest disruption of being on Main Street where the main hotel is located. Could not ask for a nicer, more relaxing place for a weekend getaway.

    How we were welcomed

Another Epic weekend at this most excellent Bed & Breakfast. Lovely Victorian property with a modern twist. Tom and Mitzi are just the consummate hosts. They made our 50th Anniversary weekend a memorable time for us. Covid stuff observed but not strident - Just a great place to recharge! Try it out. - You will love it

The man can truly cook. We've tried a variety of his dishes, and each one shows such intention, from the flavor profiles to the textures; and everything is always beautifully presented. It never misses. His congee is absolutely to die for, and those thinly sliced pork pieces with crisped skin and tender, juicy meat are a standout every single time. Check out that pic of burger he made for us for burger week! You can really taste the quality, especially knowing he uses fresh vegetables straight from the garden on the property. That is farm-to-table at its finest. On one of our visits, we stayed in a suite above the restaurant, which made the whole experience even more special. It was so nice to head upstairs after dinner and fully relax in our own space. Our room was stocked with thoughtful treats upon arrival, and we had access to the most beautiful private gym. The pool area is stunning, and we loved riding the bikes they provide to explore the property. I would absolutely stay here again. Everywhere you go, there's curated art to enjoy, which adds such a unique and elevated touch. They also host special events throughout the year. We especially love their summer movie nights, lounging on the lawn with fresh popcorn, wine, and Red Vines is such a vibe. All in all, our experience started with the restaurant and kept us coming back for more. It's made even more special by the team, who consistently make us feel so welcomed every time we visit. Thank you for always spoiling us, Chef. We are so grateful for you. Your talent and skill truly shine, and The Madrona is lucky to have you. See you again soon!

From the very beginning of the meal, there was a clear sense of precision, elegance, and intention. The opening presentation was stunning, filled with an assortment of beautifully composed small bites featuring oyster, mushroom, sea bream, and a variety of other seasonal ingredients. Each bite felt delicate yet purposeful, showcasing both technical refinement and remarkable balance. One of the most memorable dishes of the evening was the bluefin tuna moriawase paired with strawberries. Normally, fruit in savory dishes tends to feel distracting or overly sweet to me, but the execution here was exceptional. The chefs managed to create a harmony between sweetness, tartness, acidity, and umami that elevated the tuna rather than overshadowing it. It was a dish that felt thoughtful, restrained, and incredibly well composed. The consistency throughout the progression of the menu was equally impressive. Course after course arrived with meticulous presentation and a strong sense of identity. Every dish felt polished and intentional, balancing visual artistry with flavors that were equally compelling. There was never a moment where the meal lost momentum, and the pacing allowed each course to feel distinct while still contributing to a cohesive experience. That said, there was one course that completely missed the mark for our group. The milk and honey dessert, which resembled a sponge cake topped with a whipped goat cheese foam, was overwhelmingly pungent and difficult to approach as a dessert course. The intensity of the goat cheese dominated every other component, to the point where it felt less like a composed dessert and more like being punched by a goat farm. Looking around the dining room, it seemed we were not alone in our reaction. Interestingly, when we mentioned that this was the only dish we did not enjoy, we were told, "if at least 1 out of 10 guests enjoy it, we consider it a win." It was certainly an unexpected response, especially given how polished and thoughtful the rest of the experience had been. Even with that misstep, the overall meal was exceptional. SingleThread succeeds in delivering a dining experience that feels elegant, immersive, and deeply personal. Between the artistry of the presentations, the balance of flavors, and the technical execution across the menu, it remains one of the most impressive three Michelin star experiences in California.

Unfortunately I was unable to get the upgrade my credit card promoted. We ended up in room 225. The room itself smelled really nice, like essential oils but it was freezing! Our view was of a building and the local park that houses what appeared to be the local drunks and homeless. One guy had a barking dog that he let, bark, bark and bark. The room was relatively quiet during the night but in the morning it was very noisy with slamming doors and people talking. We are big coffee people and noticed we had only 1 caffeinated pod for the machine. We asked house keeping for more and she rudely said she could only give us 1 or 2 pods. Well, alrighty then. I declined and dealt with the lack of pods, elsewhere. I guess my biggest issue was her rude attitude. Sheesh like she was buying the pods for us. There was a lack of toilet paper, facial tissues, wash cloths and hand towels. Made me wonder if the hotel was struggling financially and have to cut back on simple amenities that makes a difference to travelers like us. The location is great and very walkable. There are plant to little spaces spewed throughout to sit and enjoy. The pool looked nice. The bartender, Javier, was a gem and the music in the lobby was very good. We had the olives and nuts. We did not enjoy either yet we were charged $22 plus tip for those. The French fries were good. Make sure to ask for crispy if you don't like flimsy fries. We did not use our breakfast voucher which was a weird setup. They make you ask for the full menu and then order. Cutoff is 10am, which is early. Maybe tomorrow. We still have one more night here so will update more tomorrow.

This allowed the rest of our party to chill out and relax in the living room and kitchen areas when the little guy needed to get some ZZZZZs. The suite itself is absolutely amazing. There is a really modern feel to the space. Little cool touches are everywhere. A perfect example is how each room in the suite can fully individualize the temp with its own Nest thermostat.
