Ben was incredibly easy to work with and kept us updated every step of the way. He also helped us coordinate and manage multiple other contractors, which made the whole process so much less stressful. Ben brought a perfect blend of creativity and practicality to the project. He helped us work through ideas for bark vs. rock swale areas, oak-friendly deck details, plant massing, River Wattle spacing, fencing and gate options, and even long-term maintenance considerations. The design is beautiful, functional, and perfectly aligned with the modern-Mediterranean feel of our home. Although the installation was done by another contractor, the clarity of Ben's drawings and notes made their job significantly easier -- everything was laid out so cleanly that there was almost no guesswork during the build. If you want a landscape designer who is thorough, communicative, and genuinely invested in making your space both stunning and practical, I highly recommend Fredrickson Landscape. Noe Pablo was the most thorough in messaging through the Yelp app, so my husband and I chose him. I had 2 medium-sized fruit trees I needed to transfer from my parent's home in Southeast San Diego to mine in North County. I took pictures and he gave us a very reasonable price. We also decided to also add another service to take out our palm tree. There were a couple of mishaps such as: The day he was scheduled to take out the palm tree, he was a no-show and my husband had to call him an hour after he was supposed to arrive. Then, the day after that incident, was the fruit tree transfer. He and his team forgot to bring their dolly. Thank goodness my Dad had one so they borrowed it, but now we have the burden in taking it back. Despite these mishaps, Noe was very knowledgeable and professional in his mannerisms. The day of the fruit tree transfer, he and his team arrived in a timely manner, was efficient and did a great job overall. We were very pleased and will definitely use him again if we have another project.
