More importantly, he knew exactly how to deal with the efflorescence issue we've been dealing with for years. We've called dozens of stucco specialists and have gotten different solutions and quotes that were 2-3x what Sebastian quoted. Sebastian and his wife helped us clear out an area of shrubs so that we could put in a native garden. They did the hard work for us, and even took the shrubs with them when they left. We had contacted a couple of companies from this YELP site. One, company dragged me along for a month and indicating that because our job was "small" (sent pictures to them), required a minimum of $1900 if they had to come out for an estimate. We got tired of waiting and kept up the research. We contacted Sebastian on the weekend, and he stated that he could see us within the hour. He gave us a reasonable quote, given the extensiveness of the repair (the base of our house was bubbling all along the lower 3 ft and it needed immediate repair). He came out several days later. We gave him a deposit for materials ( 1/2 of the quote) and he indicated he would be using concrete. He took all of the, now powdered, stucco off of the lower portion of the house. Not an easy task given our plant life. All of our STUCCO, along the base areas was beginning to dissolve because of excessive water damage. Sebastian and his partner did an intensive re-stucco, meticulously concreting the walls and sanding the metal frames, then painting to match our paint. The house looks great! I didn't take current pictures, but if I can edit this review I will. He also adjusted the watering lines to avoid hitting the newly attached concrete. The lawn will be looking great, too! He knows his stuff! His work ethic is great! He rarely took breaks, although we encouraged him often to rest when he needed to. Sebastian is incredibly hard-working, knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled with all he does! Our yard always looks beautiful, thanks to him and his family. In addition to helping us maintain our landscaping over the past few years, he has also done a ton of "handyman" work for us. Some of the projects he has completed for us include redoing our sprinkler system, establishing a drainage ditch throughout our front and back yard, laying concrete for sidewalks along the sides of our back yard, rebuilding a broken fence, patching old/broken stucco, and offering junk hauling services.
