Unlike other providers, he is warm and caring, spends time explaining medical issues and promptly follows up with a report and analysis of test results. His office is right in Sonoma with plenty of parking, and It's easy to schedule an appointment. This is what medicine should be. If you are looking for a primary care physician, look no further than Dr. Gleser.

Her office manager is exemplary and helped expediently put through an order for migraine medicine when I needed it most to be able to get up every day to care for my husband after knee surgery. Their response was fast, courteous and professional. Yes, the office location is in an older building in need of upgrades, but if you can get past the shabbiness, this is an excellent primary care option.

I'm in the middle of looking for a new primary care physician and have to say that I was excited…read moreabout the possibility of finding one affiliated with Marin Health/UCSF so close to home... until I called. I explained that I had new insurance (leaving Kaiser), live in Sonoma, and so on. A VERY SNOTTY receptionist told me that they were accepting SOME new patients and if I'd like to be considered I needed to mail or drop off a list of all current medications, a copy of my Covid vaccination card and something else (I forgot what but it was an ID, address info or something else). They would review my documents and reach out to let me if if they would take me as a new patient. I took this as I need to apply, wait until they decide to reach out to me (if at all) THEN only if I don't really need any they might see me. I decided to look elsewhere. I want doctors that care about people and patients. This review is not about MarinHealth in general. Many people I spoke to have been WONDERFUL but this office - do better people. Do better! I also know that healthcare workers have been overwhelmed and are exhausted after the last couple of years. Hey, if you can't take on anyone, that's okay. I'd rather hear a no than be left with an "only if we deem you to be worthy or our time" impression.

He and his team are thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and up to date on Workers Compensation regulations. In fact, my Workers Compensation adjuster noted more than once that the ShoulderMD office was very proactive and responsive. Dr. Roache's office staff are kind, experienced, efficient, and clearly work together well as a team. Dr. Roache is exceptional at providing patient education through each step of the process, and actively listens to patient questions and concerns - I found that his manner put me at ease at a time when I felt particularly vulnerable due to pain and decreased strength. I no longer have pain, and I have increased strength and great range of motion, and I am grateful for the expert care I received.
