She provides detailed instructions, which makes it very easy for me to follow. She (or her awesome nurse Rhea) always follows up very promptly with test results or if I have a question. Beyond medicine, Dr. Stenberg takes the time to listen when there are issues, but she also takes an interest in how I'm doing. She is easy to talk to and has a great demeanor. She explained everything she was doing and showed concern whether my daughter was in pain or anxious about what was going on. They book a "meet and greet" session for new patients. I asked them 4-5 times before the appointment, how much it will cost after giving all my insurance info. All of their team assured me that it will be 0$ co-pay for me as it is only a meet and greet where Dr. will just get to know you. Guess what, they billed my insurance 700$ after the appointment, out of which they are asking me to pay 300$. This is a scam. And the Dr. did nothing in this appointment, no advice/tests nothing, other than me sharing about my medical history and past test results and my concerns. I got to know that there are California laws against this, I will be filing a legal complaint Update: I called their billing office as Dr suggested in his response and told them I'd report them to the medical board. They said they will file the claim with insurance with a different code to see if they can bring the cost lower. You know what they did instead? They sent the bill to collections immediately. No warning, no attempt to resolve, no accountability. Just pure, disgusting greed and lies in every interaction. This place runs on lies, shady billing tactics, and a complete lack of ethics. And if you dare to speak up, they'll come after you. It was one of the best bit of luck ever, and seven years later, I have found her to be the best PCP of my adult life. She is highly competent. She is reluctant to prescribe drugs unless they are necessary and knowledgeable about which drugs are best. She is reluctant to order tests, but more than willing when they are indicated. She is very familiar with PAMF's specialists and has routinely sent me to excellent choices. But those are merely icing. The cake is that she listens carefully, explains thoroughly and knows medicine extremely well. She works hard to keep current and will research unusual symptoms on those rare times when she is unfamiliar with them. I can't ask for a better doctor and hope to be her patient for a long time.
