The couple who owns them is super nice and so helpful with our visit. The cottages are nice and you can tell some well-thought effort went into updating them. Everything there was quiet. The pool was nice and the tiki hut made for a nice place to chat with fellow relaxers. The beach is a short five minute walk. With a less-than ten minute walk, you're at John's Pass with shopping, restaurants and bars. We had planned on going to other places while visiting, but we barely left the radius around the cottages.

The villas are perfect for staying for a longer time and everything you could wish for in a kitchen is there. It is extremely clean, very beautifully decorated and just perfect. The hosts (june and Bill) are so friendly and helpful that we felt like family when we left. The other people staying there were also extremely nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. This was supported by the tradition that everybody staying there would gather for a glass of wine or a drink at around 5 in the afternoon in the tiki-hut. Even though we were the only ones with children we felt so welcome. I would love to go there again and I am sure that we would feel just as welcome the next time. We stayed in Villa Paradiso, which was the largest of the villas, but I also saw the inside of some of the other villas and they looked just as nice. The beach was a short 3 min walk from the cottages and John's Pass was around 5-10 minutes away when walking.

She told us to send her for a check for a two bedroom ground floor condo (there were four of us, and I just had a total knee replacement and could not do stairs). She cashed our check, and then sent us an email verifiying the dates - 01/27/24 thru 03/02/24. Even the parking pass she issued said these dates. All was ok until Wednesday 2/21 when she called us and told us we had to be out by 10 am on Saturday, 2/24 as she rented the condo to someone else starting on that day. We were floored so we went to her office. We showed her the email she sent use verifying the dates and she said she did not care, it did not matter what we had we had as the unsigned and unsent contract she printed off in front of us said different dates, we were just out of luck, and that it was our fault because we didn't ask for a contract. We thought the email and the cashed check were our receipt/contract. We had no idea they required a signed contract - if that is their policy, why did they give us the key without one? She was extremely rude and unprofessional and unwilling to help or listen. We spent an entire day of our vacation looking for somewhere to stay and we found a place to the tune of $2500 on our charge card. Debbie did offer to rent us a second/third floor one bedroom condo with 2 flights of steps. Legally, can they do this? I have never experienced anything like in my life. Trying not to let this ruin our time, but.....

I'd recommend staying in an Airbnb though so you know what you're getting. Each condo is owned by someone different, so there is a lot of variety in the rooms and what's provided in them.
