Awesome stay! Highly recommended!…read more We needed a quiet, relaxing vacation where we could bring our dog. Island Paradise delivered. The couple who owns them is super nice and so helpful with our visit. The cottages are nice and you can tell some well-thought effort went into updating them. Everything there was quiet. The pool was nice and the tiki hut made for a nice place to chat with fellow relaxers. The beach is a short five minute walk. With a less-than ten minute walk, you're at John's Pass with shopping, restaurants and bars. We had planned on going to other places while visiting, but we barely left the radius around the cottages.

The villas are perfect for staying for a longer time and everything you could wish for in a kitchen is there. It is extremely clean, very beautifully decorated and just perfect. The hosts (june and Bill) are so friendly and helpful that we felt like family when we left. The other people staying there were also extremely nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. This was supported by the tradition that everybody staying there would gather for a glass of wine or a drink at around 5 in the afternoon in the tiki-hut. Even though we were the only ones with children we felt so welcome. I would love to go there again and I am sure that we would feel just as welcome the next time. We stayed in Villa Paradiso, which was the largest of the villas, but I also saw the inside of some of the other villas and they looked just as nice. The beach was a short 3 min walk from the cottages and John's Pass was around 5-10 minutes away when walking.

We had visited once before and stayed in a tourist area that was busy and loud. We had driven around and found Pass-A-Grille and my wife noticed The Inn at the Beach. She declared next time we will stay there and this is just what we did. What an excellent decision. The Inn is nestled in a residential area so it was quiet and quite beautiful. The rooms all have names and each is unique. We stayed in Sunrise which had a balcony off to the side providing nice views of the beach. It was great for winding down each night with a drink and hearing the ocean. The Inn is just a short walk across the street to the beach and the Inn provides chairs and umbrellas. An extra nice touch, they have a cooler in the room while providing ice so you have everything you need to enjoy the sun and water. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and included amenities like nice thick towels and bathrobes. The staff were all very friendly and right on top of any requests we had during our stay. The location is a short drive to restaurants and shopping and parking is free. We even found a few restaurants within walking distance that surprised us with the quality of the food. Both my wife and I look forward to coming back to the Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone who asks. Our only regret is our time at the Inn wasn't long enough.

The beachfront is raked every morning and has a sheriff that drives a 4 wheeler on the beach so you feel very safe. Then there is the clear blue water. ZERO STARS, or even negative if that is at all possible. I hope someone gets to see this review…read morebecause the owners have now taken their rental off VRBO after I emailed them explaining our issues and letting them know I would be leaving a bad review. We stayed here in September 2020. This listing was very misleading. We really thought we were renting a home with a private pool and instead it was a "resort" with 7 other units sharing the facility. This house is extremely tacky and outdated. The AC took 2 of the 3 days of our trip to start cooling down and 1 room had a broken AC and we were never notified prior to arrival. There was a loud AC machine in the room with a tube coming out of the window and several large cockroaches and palmetto bugs came in due to the opening. Some even crawled out of the "clean" towels. I reached out prior to booking to ask about our trailer and 24ft boat and paid extra for a spot. We arrived and they said no a 24ft trailer wouldn't fit and then for the first few hours we had to try and figure out what we were going to do. They found a "solution" and had us park our trailer in a nearby parking lot off a dark alley that was supposedly their friends. We were worried the whole time that it was going to get stolen. They didn't refund what we paid to park the trailer, instead made it seem like they were doing us a favor by not charging us more to have it in their friend's lot. Then they charged us for our 2nd car to park in the original spot that our trailer was supposed to fit in which was the size of a compact car or motorcycle space. They should've comped that due to this fiasco. It rained a lot, it's FL, we know, but we couldn't even walk to our cars with shoes on because of their entrance being flooded and having no drainage. Our biggest issue - THE DOCK.....DO NOT BRING YOUR BOAT!!!! They told us to bring bumpers which we did but there were huge bolts sticking out of the dock everywhere. Our 2 month old boat got ruined in the front and I've attached a photo to show the damage. It's outrageous that they charge extra for the docking when their set up was that bad. I hope this review helps someone not make the mistake we made. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO RENT, you will be so happy that you did!

I guess it seemed a little crazy to go to a timeshare just down the street to where I live, but I now get the perks. Not gonna lie, I still wouldn't see the point of owning a timeshare just a few miles down the street from where I live (her family) but they have owned multiple units for so long they get to enjoy a stayacation while getting all the resort perks throughout the year. Yup, this one let's you use their parking, the use of the pool and the private access to the beach, which is located in the less commercialized areas so you don't have to worry about all the tourists... okay, just a little who are staying there but nothing like Clearwater (close to where I live). You still need to check in and get parking passes so don't get any ideas of just parking here and using the amenities, you'll need a wrist band like everywhere else but it is nice to have a connection here to enjoy lazy days!

Resort is well located and easy walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. Easy to get on and off the island as well. Biggest issue I've had is a huge group here that descends on the pool, brings a large portable speaker, and cranks it up. Forget trying to relax by the pool or the hot tub in the evening. For the points we spent not a bad deal. Probably would come back if other options aren't available / economical.

We went to the front desk and was not able to speak to a manager until the next morning we were told she was going to contact us, which never happened. My husband had to go downstairs to contact her about that horrific incident the next morning. Mind you I have kids. My husband went downstairs after not being contacted to speak with the manager, and she comped us the penthouse suite. At this time it was 8 PM and we didn't even wanna mess with that but she insisted. Which, upon we had been interrupted because after using the amenities that we were comped, the Jacuzzi tub was said to be flooding to the two rooms below us. Security knocked on our door around 11 PM. Asking me if I flooded the Jacuzzi. Mind you this is 11 PM and I was just getting out of the Jacuzzi tub. I was enjoying with my son to answer the banging on my door. I was furious. My husband had spoke to Heather and she told us she was going to compass a free room the next day and that we would be contacted by their staff and didn't have to do anything else. But what do you know of the next day came and we had not gotten any contact from their management. So once again, my husband had to go downstairs where the general manager Clyde, had told my husband he believed that we were comped enough, and there was nothing more he could do. When I went on Booking.com, there were rooms available that he could've comped us. I don't know what world that this is an OK situation or experience for a family to have. No way is this acceptable it's beyond inappropriate and such a horrific experience plus the rooms are so outdated. I even saw a cockroach.. I just spoke with him too and he was beyond rude. Cut me off and didn't even let me finish speaking and basically called me a liar about the situation about the couple on the bed crazy. And insisted that he knew they were not naked. So they must have cameras in the room. Clyde is beyond unprofessional. He is about as old as the rooms that you'd be staying at if you book this place. I feel as though my husband and I were discriminated against because we were also disabled veterans. So if you have a family with disabled veterans, don't stay here because they'll discriminate and give you the worst experience possible. and all I wanted was to have an enjoyable getaway because I had recently had a newborn two months ago and I'm going through postpartum depression and they just made it worse. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
