They sent the instructions and code early, called to communicate any issues and the place was clean both times we rented a room. However our second room did have a few bugs- some dead and some alive... I didn't notice them but my husband did. The bedding and bathroom were very clean however. Parking at the rental we used was very tight but that's not their fault... the permits were printed and in our room and we had access to contact them 24/7. Overall would use them again though maybe not the same location as it was an older building.

UNREASONABLE and UNTRUTHFUL MANAGEMENT: I contacted DONNA from Sandy Beach Rentals on the day we left. She informed me that she couldn't help me with a refund and that I should contact a manager on a business day. I did what was recommended and called Sandy Beach Vacation rentals. I talked to a receptionist and explained the situation. She put me on the line with the manager, and her name was.....DONNA! DONNA is a manager (maybe owner?) Donna lied about her role in the company and chose not to offer any recompense. I remained calm and tried to plea my case. No refund of any kind is being offered. During the conversation, she minimized each complaint and my situation. She offered no help and asked me if I expected her to pay it out of her pocket. She then hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and LOOK ELSEWHERE! For a few hundred bucks more, you can get a nice hotel on the beach with all the amenities.

Florida in summer was very very and having escalators inside and outside to move around was helpful. Classrooms downstairs were well prepped as was the tradeshow floor. Parking onsite in the garage was easy to find and there was plenty of clear signage pointing me to the convention center entrance. It was just a quick 2 minute walk across the street. Upon entering, I was able to follow the directional signage to find my meeting areas and the expo hall with no problems. The facility was clean and I noticed plenty of staff members maintaining the space throughout the week. I conveniently stayed at one of the hotels across the street and it was a very short, easy walk each morning. The convention center also sits on the the Tampa Riverwalk with stunning views of the city skyline right on the water. On one night of the conference, Visit Tampa Bay hosted a stunning "Discover the Bay" party for all 3,000 attendees and it was amazing to see the space in action for a big event like that. Multiple food stations and bars, passed bites and bussers, live band and DJ, roaming entertainment, and even a docked yacht we could board... it was all so well-executed. I'm attending the Tampa Hyrox competition being held at the convention center next month, and I'm even more so looking forward to it now that I've gotten lay of the land. I can see why Tampa is such popular destinations for the MICE industry. Ease and convenience go a long way.

It was so yucky and unpleasant that we decided to leave after the first night and book at a hotel for the remaining 2 nights. We got home 3 days later. Still, never heard from TechTravel. We emailed them again. Nothing for 4 days. I called them. Melissa answered and told me yep, they received our emails and management has them. Then asked what else she could help me with.....I told her I hadn't heard from anyone and to please connect me with management. She said they are very busy and took my number. Never heard back. We could not sit out on our Gulf facing deck at all to enjoy the views or just relax because either the people below us were smoking on their balcony and it was coming right up to us or there were people smoking on the deck below with the smoke coming up to us. We were on the 2nd floor. We left a beach chair out for one hour and a family picked it up and took it and sat on it in plain daylight. The pool had a rowdy family in it each day that just took it over, while some smoking on the side. We stayed at Pelican's Cove one mile north prior to this for 2 weeks where it was clean , no smoking was enforced and the clientele were wonderful and the cost was way better.
