Came down to celebrate with friends and boy did we hit the jackpot with Fusion. This place was spectacular, the staff was great. Such a beautiful property with everything within walking distance. We enjoyed our suite with water front views to die for. Comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. Pool area was very nice as well. If you're up for fun go check out John's Pass close by!!! Can't wait to go back !

The views are amazing. Very close to the beach. The suite was very nice. The bed in the master suite was very comfortable. The suite was stocked with towels and toiletries. The staff at check in and check out was nice. The cons was the water in the pool was very hot. Not refreshing in a hot day. No towels in the pool area. The room had a lot of dust in areas.

My wife and I were very much looking forward to staying here. We booked this resort in particular after hurricane Helene. We fully expected that the town and possibly the resort would be damaged or under construction after the hurricane. We were fully prepared for that and had no problems potentially dealing with some inconveniences. When my credit card was successfully charged and we received our confirmation for the stay we figured everything must be operational and normal at the resort. The day of our arrival we called to ask about an early check in and the employee was confused, saying that the resort was closed indefinitely to the public. Our reservation was in the system, but we were told to stay away from the property. - The resort's own website mentioned nothing of the closure - The Expedia listing was still up and made no mention of the closure - Our credit card was charged for the stay - We received multiple emails from the resort itself confirming our check-in and what to know before we show up. At no point were we informed by any means of communication that the resort was closed. Not to mention they still happily took $2000 from my credit card, despite no product or service in exchange. This "reputable" "high end" resort actually tried to scam us. The manager took no responsibility and blamed the screw up on Expedia. The reality is Expedia is simply a host site. It's on the property to update and modify listings. As a result of this property's ignorance to update incoming customers and refusal to refund us or apologize, I had a $2000 charge on my card (for 11 nights) that I am in the process of disputing, left without accommodations and 11 days of travel completely turned around. I am disabled and travelled 2000 miles from Canada to be here and was left without a place to stay. My wife is a travel agent with a large company specializing in Central Florida destinations. We were hoping to give a lovely, positive review of FUSION. Because of their lack of hospitality and communication, they are now on the "do not book" list for the entire company. AVOID this place like the plague. They WILL scam you.

First off let me say that Kevin is the hardest working man at the resort and also the reason I'm giving it 4 stars! When I arrived naturally the first place I went was the on-site pool. Kevin was the only one working and took my drink while I was in the pool, but was also the actual (and only) bartender! Food wasn't being served just yet but he said he could provide chips and salsa just to keep us until 4pm. Around 3:55 he came over and said he could take our food order if we wanted to still order. This to me is a display of true customer service/experience. He remembered that we wanted food, he's not only making the drinks but also serving drinks to everyone at the pool and also helping with umbrellas. Amazing. Ok so aside from Kevin, the resort is one of the nicer ones on the strip in Treasure Island. The rooms offer at least 2 bedrooms with a full kitchen. It has all the dishes you need and an array of cable stations. Housekeeping comes daily as it would in a hotel. There is an on-site restaurant and bar. My only complaint would be parking. It is very limited but they do have an overflow lot which is about a block away but not very lit so if you are coming back at light it could make you feel uncomfortable. I do love that they have a golf cart that will take you up to .50 miles away. This covers many restaurants, the beach and Walgreens! Very nice perk. Lovely resort and would definitely stay here again!

I stumbled on this nice hotel while searching for a few nights in St. Petesburg that was near the beach. I've stayed in Residence Inn in Tierra Verde and was looking for similar options. I wanted a nice balcony view for fresh air, updated room with standing shower and modern. This hotel got all of them PLUS double the size with 2 separated rooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, and living room for similar price as Residence Inn. I was glad that I tried this location and it was well worth it. The only complaint was the sensor of the AC unit has water in little pipe and even with just a little of it, the AC unit will stop running. The front desk and the maintenance guy were very responsive. The did the trick and I saw how they did it so I took care of it myself rather calling them 1-2 times a day for it. The issue will need to be fixed but it was minor to me and was easy has I just needed a paper tower to wipe the water of the sensor area. There was one incident that a few of immature individuals went swimming and talking loud at 4am in the morning. Initially I thought someone was in their balcony partying this early but after 30 mins of turning, I finally found the issue when I looked out the big glass door. I called the front desk and the gentleman said someone jumped the fence again. He came within minutes as I watched from my room and cleared them out. Other than that, the hotel was great for where it was located and how large it accomated the 3 of us. :-)

The only Treasure Island I've ever experienced in all my years was the classic book, and the Las Vegas hotel. Both left me yearning for more Treasure, however I never had the right map. Well Yelpstars September, 2020, I was kidnapped to the real Treasure Island in the beautiful state of Florida by a sexy Portuguese Pirate who married me, and let me tell you this gorgeous Pirate has the real Treasure map. We landed at Fusion Resort. As you pull into the parking lot, Fusion appears to be high end condos or timeshares, however it's a hotel. Sir Edwin greeted us in the parking lot collecting all our bags and escorted us to check-in. Edwin advised we can borrow the Hotels complementary beach cruiser bicycles, but he wanted us to take full advantage of the Treasure Island sunset in a few hours. Edwin told me he would cart us to the beach by golf cart for this experience. Entering our suite I was blown away. All rooms at Fusion have a water view with two giant sliding glass doors, full kitchen, and are two bedroom two full bathroom suites. Fusion hotel is brand new, just completed in late 2019. The large balcony allowed me to snap a video of multiple dolphins playing just a hundred feet from our balcony in the inlet. The pool and dock are beautiful. Finally, I had all the needed Treasures! I consider myself pretty well traveled. I've stayed at a lot of beautiful five star places. But this 6 or 7 story hotel in the City of Treasure Island doesn't get any better. The room, service, pool, and views are just something other places can't give you unless you are willing to pay over 500$ a night. The staff here must have left their other jobs at the Ritz-Carlton because everyone I encountered from pool boy to reception was all about service. Edwin stole the show however with this hospitality and service. Fusion has a restaurant and rooftop bar on scene with live music acts on the weekends. If you are looking for a small beach town feel, great new place to stay with views, and an easy walkable or bikeable area, Fusion Hotel at Treasure Island is the X that marks the spot.

Great boutique style hotel close to many restaurants and beaches in Treasure Island. Our room was really nice and had a great view of the outdoor pool and water. The food at the on-site restaurant was pretty good. The staff was very accommodating and while they seemed short staffed, the service was good. My family enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

I have been coming to Treasure Island for the past 20 years to visit my husband's family. We have stayed at many resorts in both Treasure Island and on St. Pete beach, hoping each time would be the place we would go back to for our extended stays. Hands down, the FUSION Resort was like winning the lottery after 20 years of overpriced properties that are old dirty motels disguising as a "resort". The FUSION is new, clean, hip and beautifully appointed. The two-bedroom standard was huge. It had floor to ceiling windows and opened up to a private balcony that looked over the beautiful pool, boat dock and intercoastal waterway. We have always stayed directly on the beach, but I loved the view of the bay so much more. At night, the boats, water and pool are lit up. When you stay directly on the beach, it is pitch black after sundown. The hotel is located in the heart of Treasure Island, an easy walk to all of the restaurants, bars and beach. If you don't feel like walking, they will take you to your destination on their golf cart. The staff is genuinely nice and will go out of their way to help you. I left a few things in my room and sweet Missi called to let me know she found them. The only thing that I would say that was missing was a bit more water pressure. But I will take more time in the shower than having a bathroom without AC like the popular "resort" down street on the beach. I am happy we finally found our slice of paradise and a retreat from visiting with family while we are in the area. We will be back.

Wow!! Walked up to this hotel and I was struck by the modern details, such as Adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit and other chairs/tables facing the inter coastal. Their dock doesnt seem to be finished, however their staff told me it was in the works and will be completed in the next few months, which will be a delight to boaters in the area. I was able to try to Rosemary Elderflower Martini and this corn salsa that wasn't on the menu. My husband tried the wings and a few types of beer. Hey had domestic, import, as well as some few local beers. We were able to take a free tour to see all their 2 and 3 bedroom suites. We can't wait to come back with our kids and Update: we are finally here for a stay, amidst covid. There are hand sanitizers in the elevators for after you touch the button! Room is super nice and clean, perfect for a family of 4! The staff is awesome. The restaurant is closed on Wednesday's but will be open tomorrow. Can't wait.

LOOK at the ambiance of this reception! Stunning.

I just got married here on Thursday 1/5/23 and we spent the week in their presidential suite! I can't say enough great things about this locale as a whole and the friendly staff who work here!! As a wedding venue: Perfectly located on the main strip In Treasure Island, walking to the beach, and naturally beautiful on its own. We had a Thursday night wedding and base rate for 50 people to host the ceremony and reception was $4000, which fit comfortably into our budget! The venue can accommodate up to 100 people. Lori, the event coordinator, was wonderful and very easy to communicate with in the months leading up (we live out of state but I grew up in Gulfport and my family is still there). The planning was easy and day of our vision came to life! The location is so naturally beautiful and has a back-up plan if you were to have rain on your big day. ALSO there are decorations available like a circular gold arch, privacy hedges, etc all available at no extra cost to use. Everything is set up and taken down FOR YOU! What a dream. We were able to have our professional photos taken all over this naturally beautiful property. Our ceremony was water-side on the first floor with our reception on the top floor. It is just so naturally beautiful, everyone was impressed with the space and our dream of a simple and elegant event came true! The food was DELICIOUS we went with the taco bar because It was fun and also accommodated our vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free guests! Fusion was SO receptive to modifying the menu to meet our needs and even created a chips and salsa menu item for our cocktail hour to fit the theme! Family members traveling Into town were thrilled to stay in the spacious and fully-equipped condo-style rooms, each with an amazing view. Day-of, the team was ON TOP of things and so very KIND and FUN to have at our reception. They even broke down decor and had all of our personal decoration Items in one spot which made cleanup a breeze! Reach out to Lori ASAP because you won't regret it. Every part of our event was beautiful and went off without a hitch.

BED BUGS found at Fusion Resort!!! Our friends flew in the night before our planned stay and they left in the middle of the night. Their daughter found bugs in her bed. We canceled our room the day of arrival because who wants to stay at a resort with bugs!!! We are still waiting for a refund of $551.30. The manager offered a gift card for another stay. We do not plan on ever returning to a place that has bed bugs.

We were big fans of another resort property in the area, but unfortunately, the upkeep of the other property lead us looking for other resorts to take our business, hence how we ended up here. We come to Treasure Island (TI) about once a month and always stay over for the night. Fusion Resort caught our eye when we came down last month and we loved their location and decided to give it a try this month. Overall, we love the space. The rooms are either two bedroom or three bedrooms villas. Great space without being overwhelming. Reception is on the second floor which was a little confusing as you park under the resort. Our check-in experience was great, very friendly staff, answered any questions that we had, and even let us know that even after we checked out we could still hang out around the resort using the pool or the bicycles. That was one perk that we both look forward to using in the future, is the fact that you can get bicycles from the resort to ride around treasure Island. We immediately went up to the room to check the room out, which is customary for us before we take our bags up. On first impression the room look very clean although it did have a distinct smell of fish. Our Assumption was that the previous guest probably cooked fish in the room of some sort. Thankfully the smell did not linger. When we went out onto the balcony we were slightly disappointed to find cigarette butts on the balcony. The resort itself is non-smoking and there is fee for smoking in the rooms or on the balcony. We went back downstairs and notified the front desk team who sent housekeeping up to the room right away to clean the balcony. We did not return to the room until later in the evening and as we were getting ready to throw something away in the trash we noticed that the trash underneath the sink had not been cleared from the previous guest. Given the late hour the night we chose to just take a picture and showed it to the front office staff in the morning. We did receive an immediate apology for the manager of duty. There were a few minor other little things in the room but nothing major or would deter us from not staying there again. We brought these items to the attention of the management to ensure that it was taken care of. The restaurant is only open on the weekends as is the rooftop bar on the six floor. When the bar is not open you are able to take your own beverages up and enjoy the views which I highly recommend as they are stunning. They do offer room service but again it is only available Thursday through Sunday. Overall, we plan to give the resort another try. The pool area looked beautiful and they have several boat slips as well. Our biggest concern is the rooms are all set up to be sold as condos so we don't anticipate that it will remain available to stay over very long.

We checked in on Thurs., Dec. 10th and stayed until Tues., Dec. 15th, coming into the Tampa area to witness and celebrate our daughter's graduation from USF. To begin with, checking in was a breeze, the grounds are incredibly clean and well-kept. The tropical foliage, palm trees and landscaping create this Utopian effect and you feel, well...relaxed. The resort houses approx. 35 - 45 condo-style units that give you a far better value than some of the competing hotels. I completely spaced taking pics of the interior while there but I can describe it as being fully furnished with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast dining area, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and approx. 1000 sq ft. The master bdr features one of the most comfortable king size beds I've ever slept on and I woke up each morning, feeling entirely refreshed. I'm gonna need to know the brand and style of mattress that was, when you read this, Westwinds! The place was super clean, fully stocked with a variety of towels, spacious and had a nice layout to it. The wildlife surrounding the resort were also quite the sight to see, as were the multiple dolphin sightings at the rear of the resort. The pool was crystal clear, heated and very clean. The only issues we encountered were very minor and weigh nominally on this review. Our shower head seemed to have a mind of it's own by spraying multiple directions due to some hard water build up in the shower head jets. When I adjusted the water flow to a more powerful stream, it worked fine and I just had to adapt to a thinner, high-pressure stream. The other notable issue that may also require 10 mins of attention by the maintenance tech, would be to adjust or replace the toilet lever. In order to accomplish a full flush, the handle had to be held down for approx. 3 - 4 seconds, rather than a press and release. Lastly, in the front guest bedroom, the ceiling fan was off-camber and made a significant humming noise, no matter the speed. Once again...minor issues. The service provided to my family and I, by Leslie, was nothing short of wonderful. Leslie is the main property manager and seems to do it all on the grounds. She was awesome. So awesome, as a matter of fact, we took her down some homemade taco soup, prepared by my wife the evening before. We felt genuinely welcomed and valued the entire time we stayed. We will be back and we will be staying at Westwinds once more. This place was great!!! Thank you! SCORE: 4.5 STARS!!

Unfortunately, the noise level significantly impacted our stay. We were in Room 28, and directly behind the room is a hallway used by staff from the upstairs bar. Throughout the first night, we heard a heavy door repeatedly slamming and staff using rolling carts to transport trash. The noise continued until about 3:00 a.m., making it very difficult to sleep. The next morning, I expressed my concerns to the front desk. He was polite, apologized, and said he would pass the information along. However, the noise resumed again the following night. Around 11:30 p.m., I stepped into the hallway and observed someone pulling trash on one of the carts; they did not appear interested in engaging when I tried to address it. Closer to midnight, after another loud door slam, I spoke with a different staff member who was very receptive and respectful. After that conversation, the noise level did decrease. I understand that hotel operations continue behind the scenes, but for a property positioned as an upscale boutique experience, I would expect better late-night noise control -- especially in rooms directly adjacent to service areas. The hotel has a lot of potential, and the cleanliness was excellent. However, due to the repeated overnight noise disruption, I would be hesitant to stay in that location of the property again.

The room had a king bed, modern bathroom, big screen TV, and small kitchenette. We got two complimentary alcoholic drinks upon check-in. The hotel also has a great second story restaurant and bar attached to it which we ate at on our first night there. Highly recommend a stay here.

We went to the front desk and was not able to speak to a manager until the next morning we were told she was going to contact us, which never happened. My husband had to go downstairs to contact her about that horrific incident the next morning. Mind you I have kids. My husband went downstairs after not being contacted to speak with the manager, and she comped us the penthouse suite. At this time it was 8 PM and we didn't even wanna mess with that but she insisted. Which, upon we had been interrupted because after using the amenities that we were comped, the Jacuzzi tub was said to be flooding to the two rooms below us. Security knocked on our door around 11 PM. Asking me if I flooded the Jacuzzi. Mind you this is 11 PM and I was just getting out of the Jacuzzi tub. I was enjoying with my son to answer the banging on my door. I was furious. My husband had spoke to Heather and she told us she was going to compass a free room the next day and that we would be contacted by their staff and didn't have to do anything else. But what do you know of the next day came and we had not gotten any contact from their management. So once again, my husband had to go downstairs where the general manager Clyde, had told my husband he believed that we were comped enough, and there was nothing more he could do. When I went on Booking.com, there were rooms available that he could've comped us. I don't know what world that this is an OK situation or experience for a family to have. No way is this acceptable it's beyond inappropriate and such a horrific experience plus the rooms are so outdated. I even saw a cockroach.. I just spoke with him too and he was beyond rude. Cut me off and didn't even let me finish speaking and basically called me a liar about the situation about the couple on the bed crazy. And insisted that he knew they were not naked. So they must have cameras in the room. Clyde is beyond unprofessional. He is about as old as the rooms that you'd be staying at if you book this place. I feel as though my husband and I were discriminated against because we were also disabled veterans. So if you have a family with disabled veterans, don't stay here because they'll discriminate and give you the worst experience possible. and all I wanted was to have an enjoyable getaway because I had recently had a newborn two months ago and I'm going through postpartum depression and they just made it worse. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

After the last 3 years of a pandemic the one thing i think we can all agree on is at the VERY LEAST when booking a place to stay that SANITATION NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. OR AT LEAST CONSIDERED. I'm not just talking about maybe they didn't take the trash out or there weren't enough towels, but I found my comforter hadn't been washed (there was dog hair still on it from whomever was in here before me) and I know most hotels usually don't wash them anyway, but then the only other thing to cover was a top sheet. Then i pulled it back to find several what looked like pubes or possibly body hair in and on the sheets. So I'm thinking there's no way this gets worse but I pull the fitted sheet back to then find a VOMIT stain on the mattress pad, right by the head of the mattress wtf. (which was fresh bc it smelled like vomit, or maybe they just haven't ever changed the sheets once), and it gets better, freshly hardened, picked & still green BOOGERS on the fucking pillowcases. There were brown stains on the pull out couch mattress and stains on the couch pillows. But, PUBES. IN. THE. BED. Fuck. Safe to say we gathered our things and went somewhere else. I don't care if you are a motel 6 or the the Hilton you have an obligation to your paying customers to at the very least common cleanliness, it's not just good business but, basic human respect of another person to provide the bare minimum. The view is beautiful and that's all I can really say about the place. I truly wanted to love it but I couldn't.
