The employees are extremely helpful, and generally chill, you can ask to have the prizes to be moved around away from the corners so you can actually get to it with the claw. So I have to say it's a bit more fair than most others, though it's just as if not more expensive. Good fun though! Would love a better selection, but you can trade them in for other prizes if you get enough. One of the people I went with saw it as a more or so kid catered experience. Such a CUTE building inside and out! We stopped here to check out this fun building on our way home from our Treasure Island staycation. A great variety of plushies, opportunities to trade them in, and a good amount of smiles from my hard to please teen. $42 for 30 minutes of fun and 6 plushies won. What a fun (and potentially expensive) place. I needed a low key place to check out and have driven by here a few times- then of course the social media GODs found me so I found myself here. The concept is simple- it's full of claw machines. Big prizes, little prizes, key chains- you name it. It's set up like a Dave & Buster's in the way you get a card loaded and swipe the machines. It looks as though you can also insert cash into the machines. The machines are fun. A decent amount of loose items. Everyone in the arcade holding at least one prize. I noticed every so often the claws would really lock in, but not always- i get you cannot win them all (literally). I don't know if there is a real way to ensure a win, but I did find myself doing alright. At the end you can upgrade your plushies for a larger plushie. Of course I had to. I might have spent more money than I wanted, but I did have a lot of fun. I'd definitely go back again to win some new items (that I probably don't need). read more

Went to Atomic Claw in Treasure Island this past Sunday. This claw arcade is brand new and offers over 40 different Tokyo style claw machines. Unlike other claw machines, these machines are not the typical machines that are impossible to win on. The stronger grips on the claws allow players to win20-30% of the time. Even my four and seven year old boys won stuffed animals! The prizes are adorable and you also have the option to trade in smaller prizes for bigger prizes. We opted to trade in 5 smaller stuffed toys for a medium sized Mario plushy and five small prizes for a medium Luigi. We walked out with 14 new stuffed animals! (We purchased a game card for $100 and my four year old lost a lot, but my husband won a ton.) Definitely worth a stop! The claw games are so addicting!!! read more

While I saw nothing in particular that I wanted, I could see myself dropping some serious cash for one of my grandchildren to grab the latest hot craze icon. All the machines take credit cards and you can also buy bulk plays at the desk. If you are good at manipulating the claw you can actually accumulate a lot of stuff. So much that they even have a trade-up option: turn in 30 or 40 small plush toys for one huge plush toy. Super fun for a quick date night! Not very big so can't stay for long but the claw machines are pretty simple and you can pay in cash or load a card. The only thing I didn't like is the mini claw games you have to you the card and it costs $11 to load any money on a card. read more

when I tell you this is the best place in Tampa, it is. although it uses a card system like other places, it's much cheaper than them and only uses 8 credits for large machines while others use 10+. (small machines at this place are 7). the payout and chance for it to drop in are also relatively easy. since the prizes are stacked really high, moving it closer or bouncing it in are high chances. there's a lot of people usually in there playing so playing after a person and getting a prize on the first time is very likely. The deals are extremely good here. They also sell the packages as $100 (and a bonus) for 640 credits! Even though they don't have many trade up's, they're all so cute! (from what I saw) from bears sitting in mangos, stitch bags, tom and jerry plushes, to a small variety of cute blind boxes, this place is the best for everyone! Just a heads up though- you can't trade up the items from the small machines for points to get something bigger. You get what you get, and I wish they would've had a sign up to tell people, but hopefully it's added in the future for other customers! Other than that, this place is really nice. Cozy atmosphere, cute trade-ups, nice staff, and overall really easy to get prizes!
